About

The Ultimate 80s Tribute BandRemember the Eighties? Sure, we all do...but the Legwarmers don't just remember the  Eighties -they  relive  them. With  more  moves  than  a  Rubik's  Cube,  the Legwarmers  take  the  stage  like  it's  prom  night  in  a  John  Hughes  movie,  a  very special episode of "Square Pegs" and the Monsters of Rock Tour -all at once. So remember:  this  ain't  no  half-assed  cover  band,  this  ain't  no  disco,  this  ain't  no fooling around -it's the Legwarmers, the Ultimate 80s Tribute Band

by Vadixiechick on 11/29/21Jefferson Theater - Charlottesville

The leg warmers are a fun high energy band! Never a slow moment. I love knowing all the words to the songs. And who doesn’t wanna wear 80s fashions for one night.

    by marwin55 on 6/15/15Ramshead - Baltimore

My husband & I were visiting our daughter in Baltimore and she got the tix to see this band. We did not know what to expect , but we had an AWESOME time ! The legwarmers played 15 songs without taking a break, songs we knew the words to ( we both just turned 60 )we sang & danced for 2hrs, made me feel young ! The crowd mostly mid to late 20's but our age represented also. Will definitely go see them if they ever come to Charleston

The Legwarmers at The National - awesome!

by Sniffink on 6/9/15The National - Richmond

The show was everything I was told to expect and more! The band sounded great and the performance was very entertaining. I couldn't stop smiling. The crowd was almost as good as the band - everyone was really into the 80's style of dress/hair, etc.

    Legwarmers is a must.

by ccoxx on 2/17/15The Norva - Norfolk

I had never gone to a show at the Norva. This has to be one of my favorite shows I've been to in a while. The venue was awesome. Huge on the inside. The band was amazing. They played every 80s hit you can think of. They interacted with the crowd and got people excited. Everyone dresses up so if you go make sure to wear your big hair and ring pops.

    Back to the Future

by Mitsinger on 2/17/15The Norva - Norfolk

If you remember to have been a "material girl" sometimes during the "Summer of '69," or you were dreaming to be a "Jukebox Hero," this event was for you. I guess everybody in the NORVA knew the songs, as normally it only took two or three chords, and the chanting began. People also dressed up accordingly, it was a true trip back into the 80's, just a promised, only better.

by vawinkler on 2/17/15The National - Richmond

I'm not a dancing type of girl, but this is such a great time you can't help but dance! My throat was so sore the next day from belting the songs. Get a group of friends together for a fabulous evening :)

    Legwarmers Great 80's Band

by MargaritaBeachGal on 2/17/15The Norva - Norfolk

What an unforgettable experience, I was still talking about it the next day. The Legwarmers band is awesome, I knew every song they played. The Norva was packed so you do have to have patience for those couple of people that have to much to drink and are a little inconsiderate. I was so surprised by how many people come dressed in 80's outfit for the concert. But all in all, had an excellent time and looking forward to the next time the Legwarmers come to town!

    Ultimate 80's Experience

    by Ultimate80sNight on 2/16/15The National - Richmond

This is the greatest cover band I have ever seen. If you even kind of like 80's music, it is a must see. Don't forget to dress appropriately!

    best cover band EVER

    by Melissa845 on 2/16/15The National - Richmond

The Legwarmers ROCKED the whole night. Started with an energetic DJ mixing 80's tunes, then the band came on stage with a Beasty Boys song. They pulled off Madonna & Whitesnake, Micheal Jackson & Billy Joel, & everyone in between! We will never miss this band playing in our town again.

    Legwarmers were amazing!

by KTCTSC on 10/7/14The Norva - Norfolk

This is the hardest working band I have ever seen! They played non-stop for 2.5 hours, took a 15 minute intermission and then came back and played another 1.5 hours. They sound just like the covers. And they danced... they danced the entire time! The whole concert had so much energy and a sense of fun!

    80s were more than rock

    by WantingAllOf80s on 8/5/14The National - Richmond

One of the hardest working bands I've ever seen. Seldom will you go to a concert and hear more songs. And, they sound very much like the original artists. Clearly, good musicians. But, they are not what I think should be called an 80s band. More accurately would be an 80s Rock band. Aside from one Michael Jackson song, their play list was pretty much all white, rock and roll bands. If they are going to bill themselves as an 80s band, then I think they should incorporate a little more R&B and Pop. Not saying any of the music they played was inappropriate. But, they should consider playing a more diverse selection of good 80s music. They have the talent to do so.

The Legwarmers were totally awesome, as usual!

by jaradee on 8/5/14The National - Richmond

The National is such a great venue for this type of event. First of all, the opening DJ was amazing! He got the crowd dancing and pumping and ready to party. Then, The Legwarmers completely rocked it out! SO much fun! We danced and sang along all night. They never disappoint! :) I'd like to point out that the security staff and bartenders and really everyone associated with the venue are friendly, professional, and make the event go smoothly. See ya next time!
