The King and I (Touring) Tickets

The play was wonderful! Except for the princess's awkward pauses. They were way too long.

This was a delightful production with a wonderful cast. It was like revisiting an old, long lost friend. The costumes, sets and dance numbers were superb. We took our grandchildren to introduce them to one of the great American theater classics. Returning home we had a discussion on the importance of understanding other cultures and their values as it relates to our own.

This production was visually wonderful, great costumes and all out fun!

I went to see the show with the family plus Grandma for pre-Christmas show, and we enjoyed the singing and humor.

Thoroughly enjoyed this performance. The acting and singing was fantastic. Very entertaining.

A truly great production. Growing up in NY and seeing many Broadway plays my expectations weren't that high. It blew me away.

Yul Brenner and Deborah Kerr were not there but the cast did an excellent job with this ageless material.

Purchased tickets for the family. Had heard of it but din't know much about it. Story was great, music was great, costumes were great. Overall great time.

The King and I was fabulous! Aside from the fact that it still completely misrepresents Thai king Rama IV, the musical has been updated to better reflect Thai culture. The ballet scene was magic! Incredible vocals from all the major players, especially Anna... BETTER than Marni Nixon (in the movie version). The producers lifted this production way beyond the original stage musical AND the movie. Laura Michelle Kelly plays Anna, and she’s brilliant. This touring version is even better (in my opinion) than the recent version on Broadway.

This was a marvelous production of a beloved classic in a most beautiful setting. What more could you ask for ?

It really was simple the best musical that I've seen in a long time. If I can get tickets I'll definitely see it again. Fun night, Laura Michelle Kelly has a gorgeous voice and Jose Llana was a Joy the whole cast was terrific plus the comic timing was spot on.

Amazing singers, beautiful costuming, totally worth the expense of parking ($20) in a close lot. We sat up close and on the far side - no problems at all with visibility even though we were on the side.

Loved it. The staging was terrific and this production featured great singers and actors. One of the better performances I have seen at the Pantages. I highly recommend going if you can.

My wife had a great time and would see the play again

As an avid thespian, anything Rogers and Hammerstein speaks to me. The King and I did not disappoint. The actors went above and beyond my expectations in their performance. Whoever was in charge of casting--kudos to you! Their beautiful voices were perfect for the role. Beautiful play. A must see.

Fantastic Performance. One of the best I've seen in a long time.

This play revival was fresh and new, as though we were seeing it for the 1st time. Broadway quality cast and set.

My only critique is that the male singers voices we notably out shown by the female cast members. Not a negative. We enjoyed the performance non the less. Good theater,

singing was beautiful, sets great, like a living history snapshot of america ciivi war going on to free slaves, europe's colonizations of foreign asian countries and the changes coming about from that. nothing can be as it is forever. would see it again.
