This was one of the most amazing shows ever!! Will do it again if given a chance.
Great show . great guitarist , nice venue had great seat in 5th row . Saw Stevie Ray Vaughn in 1984 at Tower in Upper darby pa do Voo doo Child. Kenny Wayne Shepherd in same league with Stevie.
ABSOLUTLEY THE BEST SHOW OF HIS I HAVE EVER SEEN. VOODOO LOUNGE IS GREAT, SMALL VENUE, SO THERE ISNT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE. IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN KENNY WAYNE, YOU SHOULD SEE THIS TOUR. HE DOESNT DO HIS NORMAL ROUTINE, HE PLAYS A LOT OF OLDER STUFF AND SONGS FROM HIS NEW ALBUM, GREAT COVER SONGS.
The atmosphere was great, while the performance was awesome!
The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band did NOT disappoint! This was the rockiest bluesiest band I have ever seen. Kenny Wayne is arguably one of the best living guitarist in the world!
Kenny Wayne Shepherd simply never disappoints! He and Noah, along with the band, continue to grow together into one of the best blues acts on the road today. I will never miss an opportunity to participate in their visits to the area ... crazy good!!
Kenny Wayne was at the top of his game during the show. The sound was crisp and clear for both Kenny Wayne and Noah. Of course, Kenny Wayne's solos were fantastic and jaw dropping.
An amazing show! This was the first time I was able to see KWS and it was well worth the wait. There wasn't any waiting around for the next song to start as the went from one song into another. An excellent time!
3rd time of seeing KWS. This was an awesome show! They played a lot of old songs, new songs, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmie Hendrix. Kenny rocked on the guitar! Noah was excellent singing and playing, Riley was hot on piano/organ, and of course the drummer was excellent!
Kenny rocks.........but a very short set ? Band played for one hour......came back and encored for another 30 tho..........for the price, should have played longer.
First time I've seen Kenny Wayne. He puts on a great show - nothing fancy with lights/smoke, just solid, straight-ahead blues & rock. Mixed it up a bit with some old and new as well as covers and original material. KW did a great job with Voodoo Child, invoking the memory and talent of Jimi Hendrix. Noah virtually channeled Bo Diddley on the vocals of one song. Blue on Black was a definite highlight. I loved the guitar KW used the most. Finish on upper half just gone from use. KW's finger work blew me away. hard to imagine he's entirely self-taught. Unbelievable. And he sometimes played so fast, his arm looked like rubber. I don't know how he kept going for the entire show, plus a 4-song encore (including, of course, Blue on Black). Great time, well worth the price.
My first time seeing The KWS band and they did not disappoint. I would definitely see them again and highly recommend seeing them.
lots of energy great sound very entertaining awesome concert.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd & band was truly a great show. I enjoyed every minute of the performance.
The only other concert that came close that plays this style was the Almond Brothers at the Beacon in NY. Kenny Wayne can get into the 10-15 minute riffs that can mesmerize a crowd completely.
I bought my husband tickets for his birthday as he is a huge fan. I had never heard KSW until my husband introduced me to them. I was very impressed! I am not a blues music fan, but his music combines with rock and is amazing. We are now talking about other places we could go to see them! I also love Noah's voice.
Bought the tickets for my husband's birthday. He was totally blown away.
I've been following KWS since the first album, which totally kicked a__! But he's only been to the West Coast Bay Area a couple of times, including this last show. The last was a Jimi Hendrix Tribute Show in San Francisco with players like Joe Satriani, Jonny Lang, Doyle Bramhall III, The Isley Brothers, Los Lobos, Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith), and a couple of others. They each played a separate 3 song set, but KWS was the only one who did an encore. The crowd went nuts when he did Voodoo Child and did it with power and panache. One of the top 5 blues/rock guitarists on the planet. His band was stellar. I've seen Tony Franklin a few times, what an amazing bass player. What a killer show! Riley Osborne looked like my Dad and I'm 67 years old, but he blew everyone away on a couple of amazing solos. Finally, Chris Clayton from Stevie Ray Vaughn's band, and Arc Angel (one of the greatest bands no one's heard about), enough said.
Awesome band! Awesome performance! Great little venue.
