Saw then open for Maggie Rogers and ended up adding so many songs to my Playlist! It was such a fun experience!!!

  • Incredible performance!!

Amazing show. It could have been a tad longer, but overall incredible. The openers were really good too!

  • A great band at a decent venue

by Finn on 4/13/25Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

LOVE The Japanese House. They had such an exciting and inspiring concert with an encore that was over 20 minutes long!!! The venue was fine. I've been there a few times before. The biggest thing is that the seats are really packed in on the balcony, so it can be a little uncomfortable. Still well worth it!

  • Great!

Saw her in NYC, amazing show! Can't wait for the next tour

  • Giddy—loved it sooooo much

Amber and The Japanese House know how to put on a show! She is so personable and lovely and has such a good time with the crowd. I LOVED this concert so much, will definitely be going again next time JH is here!

  • Great band, terrible sound mixing

by Smiley Face on 7/31/24Roxian Theatre - Mc Kees RocksRating: 3 out of 5

Pros: The venue was decent, with plentiful and clean facilities and easy street parking. Comfortable seats with great views all around available in the balcony. The venue is not that deep, so even the back row isn’t too far from the stage. Good sound can be had for a show given proper mixing. Both bands were awesome and really worked to make it a fun live experience! Cons: the cost for a seat was more than double that of GA, which felt unfair since my partner has hip issues and needs to sit. Worst of all was the AWFUL sound mixing for the main act. The opener was well-mixed and pleasant to listen to without earplugs. However, the main band was 3x louder than it needed to be and was uncomfortable to listen to even from the balcony with earplugs due to the incredible volume and FACE-MELTING BASS. The Japanese House’ sound is the opposite of a Metal band, but there we were getting blasted and it really ruined the show. I’m not sure I’d return to The Roxian without some assurance that the mixing has improved as I’ve seen similar comments about the sound there from other guests. It’s a 300 person renovated movie theater, not an arena.

  • so cute and fun

  • Immersive, Magical

by Josephine on 7/30/24The Rooftop at Pier 17 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I sprained my ankle this day but still decided to go to the concert - totally lifted up my mood. The videography on the big screen was incredible, as was the view and surround-sound of the music. Beautiful venue, beautiful performance, beautiful everything. Incredible sound, not too heavy on the bass (didn’t feel it shaking me to my core haha.)

  • A religious experience

by Kayleigh on 7/30/24The Rooftop at Pier 17 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I didn’t go into this concert with too high of expectations, but man was I blown away. I would pay to go to this concert again.

  • One of the best shows

by Lars on 7/30/24The Rooftop at Pier 17 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at Pier 17 and it was one of the best atmospheres in a show. The Japanese house is one of my favorite artists to see live. Amber has a way of making a packed, outside, rooftop show seem like an intimate show in her living room. The view from the rooftop was beautiful especially during sunset.
