Really enjoyed this show - fantastic !!! From the start to the end non stop boredom
Rally fascinating performances by all illusionists performing. Highly recommend this one. Highlights were the glasses of beer trick and the dancing tissue paper.
Awesome show!! Really can't figure out how they do most of the stuff. The time just passed and my kids - male, 16; female, 19; female 21 - all loved the show. We saw the other one in NYC about 3 years ago and thought nothing could live up to it, but this show was almost as good. Fun for all ages and intellects, as long as one is curious and loves to be entertained!
The english host was quite obnoxious and old hat. We much preferred the previous years to this one. Hopefully next years will bring back the class acts!
Great seats. The show was awesome. The six magicians were fantastic. The host magician was extremely entertaining. He really made the show! It seems all the magicians were performing their best trick, since all the tricks were awesome! I would highly recommend this show. Don’t miss it!
Truly was a great show. I hope you come back to New York soon
a lot of the routines are typical to what you see on TV, but it’s still astonishing how they make things appear and disappear or change in front of your eyes. There were some boring skits that they should do away with. Overall, it was okay, but maybe not worth all that money.
It was an OK show but more of a tourist trap and too much talking and not enough magic. Would not pay full price even for front row.
Totally entertaining. Thought the audience interaction with both the grown ups and children was a nice feature. The flat screen enlarging all activity was a plus
Where would one be able to be mesmerized by six of the the world's top Illusionists at one time?
Took my ten year old grandson for his birthday and we both loved it! Some awesome illusions and tricks! Best part was the host Paul Dabek who was so funny and a great entertainer!
show was amazing, kept you entertained, will see it again next year if it comes back
Great show lots of audience participation for ppl upfront! One skit was for kids where they make it snow however kids in back don't get to make it down. Fun and funny overall!
Unexpected fanatic show! This show is amazing for sure and caters to all ages! We were truly amazed at the talented illusionist! My husband is such a skeptic but even he wondered and enjoyed the show so much!!
These group of illusionists are a must-see if you haven't yet!
The price is too steep for such a show with second tier illusionists.
Expectations can sometimes exceed reality and that is the case with this show. When you go to see a Broadway show in New York city you usually expect to see some of the best that the USA has to offer, but unfortunately "The Illusionist" wasn't it. While two of the magicians were good enough for a show of their own the rest were just filler to take up time and quite disappointing. Comedy and magic can be a great combination when both are done well but this was not the case here, the comedy all too often fell short and the magic tricks were too common to really make it to Broadway. Still in all, if you don't pay for higher end seats (Like we did) then its an hour and a half of entertainment that your kids will enjoy. For adults? well, you'll just have to enjoy the looks on the kids faces when they see magic tricks for the first time.
No idea how this show was rated 4.7. Please don’t waste time and money. Show had card tricks, Animal hand shadows, and paper origami. If you like to spend $100 on that be my guest. Sorry but this show was not good.
Loved this show. Left feeling wonderful, all the performers were amazing and created a program that was filled with magic, with large does of humor, and beautiful visuals. Highly recommended!
My fiancé and I took my nephew (who loves magic) and we were laughing the whole time. Not only was the experience “magical” but it was comical and engaging to the audience. At the end of the show, all children were asked to come on stage, and of course my nephew went up. Overall this was an unforgettable experience!
