The Head and the Heart in Concert
With an infectious style that combines folk, country, pop, and smart songwriting, Seattle, Washington's The Head and The Heart have earned a reputation as a consummate live act, charming concertgoers with their layered arrangements and intricate vocal harmonies. In 2013, the band released their most confident and mature album to date, Let's Be Still, featuring lead single "Shake," an indie folk stomper that perfectly captures the energy of the band's live performances. After meeting at various open mic nights around Seattle, the band officially formed in 2009, touring the Pacific Northwest before releasing their self-titled 2010 debut album. The buzz of that album attracted the interest of several labels, and the band ultimately signed to Sub Pop Records, who re-released The Head and The Heart LP in April 2011 with additional material including "Down In The Valley, "Lost in My Mind," and "Rivers and Roads." The band toured widely throughout 2010 and 2011 as a supporting act for Dave Matthews, Death Cab For Cutie, and The Decemberists, also headlining their own shows before returning to the studio to record their sophomore album. On tour in 2013, the band impressed ticket buyers with their eclectic live concerts, leading audiences through foot-stomping sing-alongs of the indie folk anthems they've become known for.
The Head and the Heart will release their four studio album called Living Mirage on May 17, 2019. They start touring in the summer of 2019 with 39 dates in support of the new album along with the alternative rock band Hippo Campus on select dates.

Ive been a casual fan of the band since their first album, but seeing them live and intermingling all their music was incredible!
Third time seeing hem and they played the best possible set list. Really great show. Band was having a lot of fun too.
Great venue! Great band! Not a bad seat in the house and head and the heart crushed
It was my first time seeing them live in person. I’ve been listening to them for years and was really looking forward to the show. Instead of an indie folk rock band they played the show as a loud rock band. And the sound mix at the Sylvee was awful. The bass & drums were way too loud, and I couldn’t hear the backing vocals very well. I’ve never been so disappointed by a live performance and was actually mad I spent money on tickets and a hotel. I will not see them live again. I love their music, but their live show was not what I was expecting.
The Head and the Heart puts on a show that you know you have to sing and dance.
Saw Head & Heart for the first time the other night at the Chicago Theatre. I consider them to be one of the finest and most talented of the "newer" (or I guess younger?) bands out there right now! I'd say they're like a modern-day "slightly folkier" version of Fleetwood Mac. The band came out with a great set and awesome light show to enhance the experience as well. All the songs sounded great, and they even did one that was previously unreleased too. I enjoyed every minute of it!! Highly recommended!!! I will definitely see them anytime they're back in town for sure!
Venue is always amazing. The Chicago Theatre is a true gem. I would see anyone there. It's intimate and the acoustics are incredible. Security was a breeze and friendly. We got drinks and snacks for us and the kids and were in our seats for the end of the opener. The Head and the Heart started on time and played for almost two hours. They had great energy-as always-and sounded amazing. I have seen this band 7 times and now my teen loves them. I have traveled to Red Rocks to see them. I will keep going as long as they keep touring!
They're my favorite band. EVER. I saw them in 2017 at the same venue and it was incredible and this year my mom and I went together (she really likes them now too) and we stood right in front of Charity! I pretty much cried during the entire concert. Their music really resonates with the audience and has so much emotion. It was phenomenal seeing them again and being lucky enough to be so close. It still feels like it was just a really good dream.
The band did not disappoint! I was struck by their musicianship and ability to connect with their audience. Beautiful show visually, too. I cannot wait to see The Head and the Heart in concert again!
Not sure why the venue wasn’t full for this band. The head and the heart were full of energy and and had great stage presence. Their songs are beautiful and they played nonstop. Every band member bursted with talent! I will definitely be looking for more of their shows to see in the future
This was the second time seeing The Head and The Heart and they were even more incredible this time around! Their opener The Moondoggies were also great and a great compliment to the night. THATH played all of their hits and most songs from the new album. The venue was also great and super easy to get in and out.
The acoustics were great! I always loved the head and the heart and they were so so much better live! Especially all the instruments and the violin. 10/10 would see them again.
the most perfect and special concert ever. my only complaint is that my seat was in a puddle of water.
It was a perfect night with cool temperatures and H&H did not disappoint...Moondoggies opened and displayed their unique sound and I really liked the voice of the lead singer though I was unfamiliar with their music. Then H&H came out with a lot of enthusiasm onstage and we all loved the lead singer and the female singer who also played a mean fiddle. It was one of the best concerts I have seen in a long time and I really appreciate their talent. If you get a chance and like their music, don’t pass on the opportunity to see this band!
This was by far one of my favorite concerts I’ve ever been to. Not only was the venue beautiful but the energy given off by the band was so infectious and the vocals were phenomenal. Was such an amazing experience!
What an amazing show. Words can't describe it. I never want to miss them again!!!
4th time seeing Head and the Heart, last time in Indy was rough (first 2 were as good as it gets)..they proved the first 2 were no FLUKE...right on point, sounded GREAT...love the Murat vibe and facility
Was a great show. They kept the crowd on their feet. They entered into the crowd as well which always makes me feel as if they get it. The connection between musician and fan. Love them!
The show was incredible from start to finish! They played almost every one of the songs I was hoping to hear and sounded great. The opening band (The Moon Doggies) was also a nice surprise. I would definitely see them again if I get the opportunity.
Loved this show! The band gave it their all for the entire show. Poured themselves into each song. Was singing Head and the Heart songs for several days afterwards. Will definitely see them again.
