The Head and the Heart in Concert
With an infectious style that combines folk, country, pop, and smart songwriting, Seattle, Washington's The Head and The Heart have earned a reputation as a consummate live act, charming concertgoers with their layered arrangements and intricate vocal harmonies. In 2013, the band released their most confident and mature album to date, Let's Be Still, featuring lead single "Shake," an indie folk stomper that perfectly captures the energy of the band's live performances. After meeting at various open mic nights around Seattle, the band officially formed in 2009, touring the Pacific Northwest before releasing their self-titled 2010 debut album. The buzz of that album attracted the interest of several labels, and the band ultimately signed to Sub Pop Records, who re-released The Head and The Heart LP in April 2011 with additional material including "Down In The Valley, "Lost in My Mind," and "Rivers and Roads." The band toured widely throughout 2010 and 2011 as a supporting act for Dave Matthews, Death Cab For Cutie, and The Decemberists, also headlining their own shows before returning to the studio to record their sophomore album. On tour in 2013, the band impressed ticket buyers with their eclectic live concerts, leading audiences through foot-stomping sing-alongs of the indie folk anthems they've become known for.
The Head and the Heart will release their four studio album called Living Mirage on May 17, 2019. They start touring in the summer of 2019 with 39 dates in support of the new album along with the alternative rock band Hippo Campus on select dates.

The Head and the Heart were amazing. It’s a great venue. Fantastic staff.
Thanks to the Jade Bird and Head and the Heart putting on an enthusiastic show in the wind/rainstorm. Pier 17 was giving out the rain poncho was brilliant.
The Head and the Heart rocked from start to finish. What an amazing night. Staff was awesome as well. Shout out to Teresa at VIP for being so warm and welcoming!
THATH put an amazing show! The venue had a spectacular ambiance that was made better with the wind and the slight rain. Their vocals were on point, and the setlist was better than expected playing their most popular so mixed with their new songs. Would recommend it!
Everything was great about the show and venue. Only complaint are venue prices. A bottle of water was $8; $9 after tip.pretty absurd. Head and the heart didn’t disappoint as usual. Great performance. Happy wife happy life.
The head and the heart gave a great performance at a great venue on the water in Maine. We loved the mix of people and the band played old and new songs. Great night!
One of the best concerts we've been to. The Head and the Heart put on an amazing show, absolutely loved it. Thompson's Point is spot on one of the best places to see a show.
I drove 3 hours for them to tell me no seats were allowed for the rest of the evening. The wind was blowing and the sound was horrible. The opening act was not enjoyable and we had to wait another hour after the painful opening act to get to the main act. I left 2 songs in because I was so upset and disgusted. Terrible venue!!!
The Head and the Heart is so talented. The energy on stage was so wholesome. It was a very lovely concert!
Great show at Thompson’s Point in Portland, ME. The band played for 2+ hours and the sound was fantastic. Love the band, loved the venue!
Was early enough to get the front row center spot for this show in Portland Maine. The Head and Heart sounded fantastic... I had tickets last year before the show was canceled. I have been wanting to see them for about four years and was amazed by their sound and harmonies since hearing the song See you through my eyes years ago. I can’t emphasize enough how great the all sounded. Will definitely try to see them again.
The show was great. Sound was good. easy in and out and great facilities with pleasant staff.
Concert was awesome but venue lacks food options ( all food trucks were meat based- no desserts, side items, etc) and drink options are terrible! Only craft beer, cider and white claws. Does no-one drink a basic domestic beer anymore? only water option was purchasing a $8 jug and filling it w/ "free" water.
Not only did they play all the hit songs they made my love for their new music grow even more. They sound perfect live and played for close to 2 hours, non-stop. Couldn’t have asked for a better concert. After the show we immediately bought tickets to another the following week.
We loved everything about the Head and the Heart show. The band was tight, played all the songs we wanted to hear. The venue was fabulous. The sound was excellent, sightlines great and easy access to and from Artpark.
Great concert!! Loved the venue and had a great overall experience.
This is the 3rd time I’ve seen them. First time post pandemic. They have only tightened in time and their new album even better live then expected. We’ll done!
My wife & I braved the possible rain and hours of standing on the uneven concrete for four or five hours to see our band, The Head & The Heart. Except the few thousand others there also shared their band with us! It’s so nice to share this with experience of coming together in dreams, in aspirations, in sadness and confusions, all guided so genuinely and purely by the band. I really appreciate their spirit, and I’m pretty sure that’s what everyone else was cheering on too. Even without Charity who was out that first night of the tour, they really came with full steam- thanks to Lady Bird for carrying the torch. And it was fun to see Jonathan’s little children running and playing on the balcony of the green room!
this conecert was everything i had ever dreamed of. i have been waiting to see THATH live since my dad played their music when i was young. they are incredible musicians and they really know how to put on a show. 10/10, would see them again in a heartbeat 💙💙💙
The Concert was amazing. It was my first time seeing them and they played all the great songs that I love. Absolutely the best!
