The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band released eleven studio albums, all of which reached the charts in Canada and the United States. Their 1970 album American Woman reached no. 1 in Canada and no. 9 in the United States, while five other albums reached the top ten in Canada. The Guess Who charted fourteen Top 40 singles in the United States and more than thirty in Canada.
The band found their greatest success in the late 60s and early 70s, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman, with hit songs including "American Woman", "These Eyes", "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature", and "No Time". With Randy Bachman's exit in 1970, Kurt Winter joined the band and The Guess Who would go on to release the band's top selling album Share the Land. Songs such as "Hand Me Down World", "Hang On To Your Life", "Albert Flasher", "Clap for the Wolfman", "Runnin' Back to Saskatoon", "Star Baby", and "Glamour Boy" would follow.
The Guess Who officially broke up in 1975 with the exit of lead singer Burton Cummings. Cummings. Members of The Guess Who reunited a number of times over the years, with their last concert being in front of 450,000 at the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto SARS benefit concert.
With Randy's powerful guitar work and Burton's distinct vocals and keyboard mastery, the duo continues to capture the spirit of what made The Guess Who a household name. They are more than just former bandmates -- they are ambassadors of Canadian rock, whose influence can be heard in countless acts that followed in their footsteps. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Guess Who were pioneers who dared to dream beyond their borders--and succeeded on a global stage.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The band was fun and played the classics flawlessly!
I hesitated to spend over $100 per ticket because The Guess Who has only one member of the original band. Would this be an overpriced tribute band? THIS IS NO TRIBUTE BAND. This is THE band. They sound like The Guess Who from the 1970s. They have enormous energy. The front man commands the stage with charm and confidence. They are writing and recording new songs that match the style and spirit of the original lineup. The setting in Las Vegas was intimate - I've never been so close to rock stars.
The instrumentals were fantastic. The lead guitarist was awesome! The lead singer was okay. But he wasn't Burton Commings. The venue was too hot & crowded together.
They had a Burton Cummings look-alike on the band poster promoting the show but the only original member of the guess who was the drummer
A great show with lots of energy! Real entertainers who know how to relate to their audience. All the good old stuff with good new stuff! A great night!
I’ve seen quite a bit of criticism of this version of the Guess Who. All of the criticism is completely based on the fact that they’re not the original band members (except for the drummer). I haven’t seen any bad remarks from people who have seen this current group of guys in concert. That’s because they are fantastic. I love this version of the band and will never miss a chance to see them in concert when they come to Kansas City.
It was absolutely wonderful! The singing, musicians, sound, & lighting were top notch!! The crowd was respectful!!! Loved it!!! Venue was great!
Start to finish this concert is one of the best we have ever seen and we've seen lots
The show was a lot of fun. Love hearing all my old favorites. The seating? Worse than a damn airplane! Argosy Casino could do much better.
One of my favorite bands and finally got to see them! The concert was awesome and can’t wait to see them again! Highly recommended for the rocker from the day when music was good and made sense! If you are from that era then check them out! You will not be disappointed!
Concert was wonderful. Love my past love for them, but even new sound is great
Very fun and I loved the song choices. The new song with just the three singers and a guitar reminded me of Crosby, Stills and Nash. All members are very talented musicians. They all seem very happy to be performing, especially the lead singer. He was great fun. although it is basically a cover band now, with just one original member, they stayed true to the original versions of the classic hits
I've been to hundreds of concerts, and this was a small venue (casino) where we attend concerts fairly often anymore. This show was in the top 10 of all time! The energy, the quality, the music--it was FANTASTIC! I'd go see them again anytime, and this was my first time seeing The Guess Who! Top notch!!!
Great! So glad I was there! Wouldn’t have wanted to miss it! A lot of fun, happiness, joy, and smiling!
Enjoyed singing along to some of my favorite songs.
The Guess Who was one of the best concerts I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot.

So fun! The musicianship was phenomenal. The band sounded soooo good. Played a few new pieces and lots of old favorites. Will definitely go see them again.
As a man still catching up to the events I missed when young, this was another moment where nostalgia was in the air. Yes, The Guess Who are an old group but some of us never had the chance to see them when they were young so here I was at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas a 20 year old once again. All I had to do was close my eyes and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.... Great night, great music, great entertainment. Thank you for taking me back.... VietVet 68-69/Semper Fi
