The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band released eleven studio albums, all of which reached the charts in Canada and the United States. Their 1970 album American Woman reached no. 1 in Canada and no. 9 in the United States, while five other albums reached the top ten in Canada. The band found their greatest success in the late 60s and early 70s, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman, with hit songs including "American Woman", "These Eyes", "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature", and "No Time". With Randy Bachman's exit in 1970, Kurt Winter joined the band and The Guess Who would go on to release the band's top selling album Share the Land. Songs such as "Hand Me Down World", "Hang On To Your Life", "Albert Flasher", "Clap for the Wolfman", "Runnin' Back to Saskatoon", "Star Baby", and "Glamour Boy" would follow.
The Guess Who officially broke up in 1975 with the exit of lead singer Burton Cummings. Cummings. Members of The Guess Who reunited a number of times over the years, with their last concert being in front of 450,000 at the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto SARS benefit concert.
With Randy's powerful guitar work and Burton's distinct vocals and keyboard mastery, the duo continues to capture the spirit of what made The Guess Who a household name. They are more than just former bandmates -- they are ambassadors of Canadian rock, whose influence can be heard in countless acts that followed in their footsteps. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Guess Who were pioneers who dared to dream beyond their borders--and succeeded on a global stage.

It was nice to fill in some of the gaps to the music I heard so much back in the 70’s. It was an evening well spent.
The venue is terrific, comfortable and intimate. The band was great and the instrumental volume was fine but the vocals seemed to come in and out and often we couldn't understand a word they were saying. Disappointing as they were very personable and interactive with the crowd. Tickets said 6:30pm but that was actually when they opened the gates.
The band was solid but the only original member is the drummer who doesn't interact with the audience. They played the songs really well, so not much of a complaint there. But the show started at 7:30 and ended at 9:05 clocking in as the shortest concert I've ever been to in my life! They could have played Star Baby, Laughing, Bus Rider and Running Back to Saskatchewan among others they missed. That would have added 20 minutes to the show and made someone like me a lot happier! They should have an opening band if their set is so pathetically short, I mean really?
Great sound,, energy and vocals entire crowd was into it!!
IT WAS A GREAT CONCERT !! GREAT SEATS GREAT VENUE. WAS A LITTLE CONFUSING ON THE START TIME. TICKETS STATED 6:30 AND WEB PAGE STATED 7:30 ACTUAL TIME WAS 7:30
The concert was good but Roger Daltrey had such a unique voice, I don't think anybody could duplicate it. The lead singer was good but there is a passion and volume that wasn't there. Still I would recommend them. They played their big hits which is good with the right amount of new material sprinkled in. The Venue was easy to get in and out of. The number of seats at the Magnolia gave it a very comfy feeling so I would recommend the Magnolia also. Overall a good experience.
If I had to get a song stuck in my head in a loop till the day I died it would be from TGW. They were so full of energy…. and humor. I believe they enjoyed performing as much as I enjoyed watching them. I attend a lot of concerts now since there are so many on my bucket list left. This is the first concert other than Santana that the entire audience was on their feet. Lotta old folks like myself but we were fortunate to be from a generation blessed with f&$@ing fantastic music.
The replacement musicians were very good and especially the lead. Of course there was only one original band member and that was the drummer. I wish they hadn't wasted our time and played their own songs. A glorified tribute band should be there to play the hits that we all remembered. The worst part was the amount of time they played which was an hour and 25 minutes. That was really disappointing. The lead was joking that he flew from Canada for this concert (and all for a hour and 25 minute performance)
It was all good the location was great the service was very good and The Guess Who was very entertaining. We had a great time.
The show started on time and ended early. We took full advantage of THAT, but the show was good. Go enjoy it.
The Guess Who rocked Buckhead !! Band was on time, great interaction with Fans, played a lot of my favorites...simply a strong performance by ALL band members. Keep on Rockin' guys !!
Thank you Ticketmaster for keeping these tickets at a reasonable price. The venue was excellent. The sound quality was great. The band was amazing!
I know only the drummer is from the original band but this is a FUN show!
The Guess Who were exceptional. They played the majority of their great hits, and did so to perfection. Reminded me of listening to their records in the early 70's and loving them. Found myself singing along and dancing at my seat. What a great evening it was.
What a nice venue. It is very nicely done on the inside. You walk into a large lobby area with comfortable couches and velvet chairs and two bars. There is not a bad seat in the house, so don't worry about getting seats in the "pit"area. We went to see The Guess Who, which was the first concert I had ever attended--- taken by my mother when I was about 13 years old, because she was a fan! So when this show came up I wanted to come full circle. Only the drummer was original so it was like a cover band, but they were very good musicians and put on a good show. The lead singer did not have the same gravel and deepness to his voice, and did not try to sound like Burton Cummings. In retrospect, I respected that. They were not impersonating the original members. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that they kept joking about how old they all were and how old we all were too. We ate at the venue (chicken fingers and fries) and had one drink at it was $85.00, (3 people) so it is pricey, but I expected that. Plan accordingly. Overall, a very good experience with the show and especially the venue. It is like a small Fox Theater.
I've seen over 300 concerts. This was probably my favorite. The energy and fun was huge. The band was obviously enjoying themselves, which made the audience enjoy themselves. What a great show!
It was a nice show , lots of memories and they sounded great. The guitarist were entertaining and on point . This venue is one of my favorites because it’s not so large and easy in and out . Comfortable chairs NOT locked together . Staff was nice and friendly as well . Easy bar access and bathrooms
Garry & the guys were awesome at Van Wezel performing Arts center in Sarasota, Flor)ida. Garry is 78 yrs old & has played in (6) decades, unbelievable!!
The Guess Who were Fantastic!!!! I Loved them!!!! Sounded just like the record I had of them from back in the 70's, "These Eyes", "American Woman". This was the first time I saw them live and was so excited to have finally seen them. They were so full of energy, great personalities, joking, smiling, got the audience involved in their songs and their instrumental playing was spot on. I was in the 2nd row so it was so cool to be so close to them. I even got lucky and got a pic. On the way home I looked up their schedule and found they were playing near me in May and got tickets to go see them again. If you've never seen them, you should. I don't know why I waited this long.
Great venue great band! Just a wonderful night!!!
