About

When The Fray first burst onto the scene in the early aughts, the Colorado-bred band introduced the world to a profoundly life-affirming form of alt-rock: timeless but inventive, arena-sized in scope but firmly rooted in raw emotion. Over the coming years, their soul-searching songwriting and high-powered sound led to earning four Grammy Award nominations, scoring a multitude of Billboard top 10 hits, and amassing a passionately devoted worldwide fanbase. Their single "How To Save A Life" spent a staggering 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the "unofficial theme song" for Grey's Anatomy. Rolling Stone praised their "stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives," while the LA Times called their music "melodically rich." The Fray's debut album How To Save A Life (2005) is certified double-platinum in the US and has been declared one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time.

  • Best concert ever!

Played every song I wanted, including Rainy Zurich! Isaac's voice is truly amazing, both with the band and 'a cappella'. His energy and passion for music are evident in every note. Loved the cover of "Wrecking Ball" at the end of "How to Save a Live" - better than Miley herself! Can't wait to see them again.

There are not many artists in this day and age that sound better live than recorded. The Fray have true talent and incredible sound. Love the new CD, Helios. Everyone needs to check it out.

    by sabijc1 on 6/17/14Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I bought my tickets the day of the concert because it was my birthday. I don't know how but I got pit tickets for a great price! I got ther right on time and ended up being right in front of the stage! Both Isaac and Joe touched my hands and I caught the drumstick thrown at the end of the show! Most perfect birthday!

  • The Fray Day

by BakoBrewmaster on 6/17/14Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The band itself put on a outstanding show, A total of 18 songs performed. Only disappointment was that the crowd didn't really get pump up no matter how hard the band tried. I think if the crowd was more into it, The Fray would have played way into the late night,

  • Amazing Night At The Greek

    by SugarlandFan00 on 6/17/14Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I haven't really been into The Fray in the past, but I'm glad that I bought tickets to see this at this show. They were phenomenal, and blew my mind. Even more incredible, though, was Barcelona!! I've been following them for years and to have one of my favorite bands open for such a big name in the music world, at The Greek Theatre in LA, was such a dream of an experience. They're why I bough the tickets in the first place, and The Fray happened to be an added bonus!

This was my first time at the Greek theater and I absolutely loved it. In fact, I like it better than the Bowl. As for the Fray, they were better than even expected. It was a great evening!
