Unbelievable experience
by EBrande on 1/6/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5I have been a Beatles fan for 55 out of the 57 years I have been on this planet. For years I have avoided seeing Beatles tribute band out of fear it would not do them justice. I have seen McCartney half a dozen time as well as Ringo once. Yet, I decided to give The Fab Four a chance. I was not disappointed. What you hear sounds as good (or likely even better due to better technology) than what the Beatles themselves produced under challenging circumstances in 64-65.
These guys are the real deal. Not only do they play the parts exactly and their voices match, but they even look the part. Squinting a little, and you really think you are seeing the Beatles 1964. Ed Sullivan (George Trullinger) was also amazing, spot on, and really funny.
Setlist was a bit strange in the sense that they didn't play any songs from 1964 and 1965, the two biggest touring years of the Beatles. First set was a complete run-through of Meet the Beatles, with fantastic performances of She Loves You, All My Loving, and I Want to Hold Your Hand along with more deep tracks like Devil in her Hand which I don't know Beatles ever played live. Firs set ended with Twist and Shout. This was spot on what I believe it would have been like to see them in late '63, early '64.

Second set was amazing, though a bit unrealistic since none of the songs performed, with the exception of Get Back, was ever performed live by the Beatles. Opened with four songs from Sgt Pepper (first two on side one and last two on side two). Then a quick trip back to 1966 with Got to Get You Into My Life. Then, strangely, "John"came out and performed Imagine, which of course, is not a Beatles song. However, when the others joined in, you got that eerie feeling of "what if..."In this world you think you could easily see the Beatles not breaking up but continuing into the 1970s.
Overall a great experience.
