About

THE FAB FOUR IN CONCERT:

You know the saying: if it walks like a Beatle, if it talks like a Beatle...it must be The Fab Four, the world's foremost Beatles tribute band. The California-based quartet have been reviving Beatlemania with their spot-on impersonations for over 12 years, and practice has made perfect — the band's tours consistently satisfy the Beatle-shaped hole in fans' souls, drawing rave reviews for their extensively researched, down-to-the-mannerisms enactments of late great band's legendary live concerts. The Fab Four continue to carry on The Beatles' legacy in 2014, hitting the road with their beloved show on a string of North American tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Founded in 1997 by John Lennon impersonator Ron McNeil, The Fab Four spent their early days touring Southern California and playing regular shows at Disneyland. As the band's reputation grew, they landed an increasing number of high-profile gigs, including a headlining slot at Liverpool's annual Beatleweek in 2004 and a residency in Vegas from 2005-2008. Since then, the band has taken their show around the world, keeping the memory of John, Paul, George, and Ringo alive and rocking.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"What a great performance. It was like we were actually watching and listening to the Beatles live.”

"If you like The Beatles' music, and who doesn't, you owe it to yourself to see this band. They talk like The Beatles, they sing like The Beatles, they look like The Beatles, and  they play like The Beatles."

"Took my 11 y/o son who is the biggest Beatles fan I know to see the Fab Four in Reading, PA. I felt like I was watching THE Beatles live in 2013! They sounded spot on & I loved how they got the crowd involved in the show."

  • Let the FabFour play!!!!

by Astrid7 on 10/10/11The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

The FabFour is one of several fabulous traveling Beatles acts. They look, talk, act, and most importantly sing and play like the real thing. Sometimes I closed my eyes, and the effect was truly amazing. Like time traveling to the 60s. I loved every second of their music (but see below) and would go back again to see them without thinking twice. As Beatles shows go, these guys are generally as good as American English, Tribute 64, Rain and others over the years, especially on the Sgt. Peppers and beyond songs. A remarkable experience.

  • Excellent!

We loved it. Took us back in time like it's the real thing..... Thanks. Please bring them back soon!!!

These guys were outstanding. They looked and sounded like the Beatles. No lip singing here. They are for real.

  • by TheBeatlesReview on 10/9/11The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I play in a Beatles band myself and can be very unforgiving of Beatles cover bands. I've seen a lot of BEATLES bands over the years and I'd have to say these guys are probably the best I've seen. Take your children with you so they can see what REAL music is like. It's something that a family and enjoy together. Would have enjoyed a second set. But, of course I can never get enough of the Beatles.

  • Fab Four for four

by Wendy1975 on 10/9/11The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The Fab Four were exactly that, fabulous! Awsome musical talents and they showed such love and respect for The Beatles songbook. It was part relaxing at home listening to the CD's and part being at an amazing concert. Each member of the band was in his own right an amazing talented musician and gave that feeling of awe to the audience. I do give all my loving to Fab Four.

The opening was boring, the trivia was unnecesary, the band was good.

  • The Fab Four - Best Beatles Tribute Band

by AKUSFan22 on 10/9/11The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I've heard Rain, 1964 The Tribute, and Liverpool, and this is the best tribute band I've heard. In fact, I don't know how they could be better (well, Ringo wouldn't look like a cute little boy with a prosthetic nose). Paul sounds exactly like Paul, John like John, George like George, etc. If I had my eyes closed I couldn't tell if it wasn't the real thing. We were in the third row, and Paul's mannerisms, tics, movements, facial expressions, etc. were perfection. These never stopped throughout the entire show. The bad part was the inexplicable delay in the show by the blathering tribute for Dick Wilson. This went on for 20-25 minutes and mostly inside jokes because no one in the audience cared. And then an "intermission" so the show didn't really start until 9pm. This should have not been more than 5 minutes.

  • What fun!

by kcgeezer on 10/9/11The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Had a blast! The band was amazing and really had the crowd into the show. Would definitely recommend to any Beatles fan. Music was almost note for note to the original and the lads costumes were great. The resemblance of the performers to their namesakes was uncanny.

  • Fab Four was great

Sitting under the stars, watching a great Beatles tribute band was a fantastic evening.

  • Fab Four fabulous

by fr2132 on 8/12/11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show on Wed evening. The young men are very talented and have captured the essence of the Beatles. "Ed Sullivan" was funny and a reminder of a different era in tv shows.

  • Close to the real deal!!!

Fun time. Classic Beatles...the look, the sound...very entertaining.

  • Fab Four Fabulous, Jumping Jack Flash ...ehhhh!

by Acpfish62 on 8/7/11The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 4 out of 5

The Fab Four was tremendous, giving a very realistic tribute to the Beatles. The music was excellent, their singing voices spot on, and their banter with the audience lively and fun! JJF did their best to sound like the Stones, but their music often did not sound like what you expect, and the Mick Jagger singer was mediocre at best. Would pay same amount just to hear Fab Four for entire show!

  • Fab Four good performance.

by Anonymous on 8/3/11Pasadena Civic Plaza - PasadenaRating: 2 out of 5

I was very disappointed in the setting I was under the impression the concert would be inside of the Pasadena Auditorium. I could have saved $170.00 because we could have watched the concert across the street for free. I will never order tickets for performances @ the Pasadena Civic Plaza/auditorium..

  • Fabulous Fab Four

by marywb on 8/3/11Pasadena Civic Plaza - PasadenaRating: 4 out of 5

My sister and I had such a good time rocking out with the Fab Four. Their accents were impeccable, their replaying of classic Beatles tunes were dead on - it was truly like seeing the real Beatles live. Would have loved a bit more from Abbey Road and less from their early career, but that's just me nitpicking at this point.

  • Stayed true to the original music. Lots of fun!!

by BathwaterBoy on 8/2/11Pasadena Civic Plaza - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

We saw them at the Pasadena Civic Plaza and they were amazing! Basically went in chrono order, all the songs were hits you'd recognize, and they did several costume changes as well. Lots of witty banter with each other and the audience. Highly recommend.

  • FAB FOUR WAS FAB INDEED!

    by lac13 on 8/1/11Pasadena Civic Plaza - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

Received an email about this event and being a Beatles fan i immediately bought tix for my friend and me. The plaza was filled with tables around the stage at Pasadena Civic. This event was so totally fun! The band was great, truly one of the best Beatle tribute bands my friend & i have ever seen & heard. The audience was especially a fun one, totally into the music! It was a lovely summer evening and i wil definitely be on the lookout next year for this event, since according to a spokesperson for the venue this is the 2nd year they hold this program (2 more weekends of various musical genres), and they will continue. And the FAB FOUR said they would be back...WOO-HOO!
