THE DAN BAND IN CONCERT:
The Dan Band has carved a unique niche for itself at the intersection of music and comedy, combining equal parts humor and chops to achieve their pitch-perfect pop culture send-ups. Known for their histrionic, tongue-in-cheek covers of traditionally female-fronted power anthems, comedian Dan Finnerty and his hilarious backup duo have become a comedy circuit favorite and late-night talk show staple. The Dan Band is a live act first and foremost — their 2005 debut album was a live album — and there's no better way to experience them than on their 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The brainchild of actor and comedian Dan Finnerty, the Dan Band got their start in LA's comedy club scene, where they were hailed as the "hottest ticket in town" by Entertainment Weekly. After making several high-profile cameos in comedy blockbusters like The Wedding Planner (2001) and Old School (2003), the band released their 2005 debut album The Dan Band Live. The album was a hit, featuring parodies of pop culture subjects including Shakira ("Whenever Wherever/Hips Don't Lie") and bubblegum pop ("Genie In a Bottle/No Scrubs/Slave 4 U") and setting the tone for their future live shows. As the band hits the road for another gut-busting tour in 2014, no topic is off-limits, and fans wouldn't have it any other way.

I hadn't even heard of The Dan Band prior to seeing them! Had a GREAT time and told all my friends about them! Great entertainers! I can't wait til they come back and i can bring a lot of friends w/us!! :)
The concert was great. The singing and performance had no down times. The concert went for 1 1/2 hours without a pause. The interaction with the audience was fun to watch and makes you wish you were in the 1st row. The band provides a fantastic evening, one I would recommend to anyone who wants a fun evening with songs they know but have never seen them performed the way the band does it.
Dan is hilarious and the show was awesome! I've been waiting for years for them to come to Florida!
The Dan Band is alot of fun and they play great. Dan and the boys were fun and funny, the venue was great and the drinks weren't terribly over-priced for Orlando.
Excellent show, although the sound in the main seating area was kind of muddy.
This was such an awesome show! Dan and his band went on about 8:30 pm. Most of his show was based on interaction with the audience. Before every song, he would go to the tables he could reach within the first two rows, and pick people out to comment on, ask their name, where they were from and converse with them a little bit. Then he would dedicate a song to them. The songs were mostly 80's and 90's covers but very well done. It was the perfect blend of music and comedy. His band is fantastic, consisting of a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer with two dancing backup singers who look like twins that just add the frosting on the cake. Definitely worth the price and I will be going again in March. I laughed for the whole 1 and 20 minutes.Go you will love it.
I went with a group of 6 friends. Our cheeks hurt the next day from laughing soo much during the concert. Will definately see them whenever they are in town, Awesome.
Such a great time! The seats were front and just one off of center. Absolutely ideal. The Dan Band is very interactive with the audience. They're hilarious. Tables are seated as four people each. It's a really tiny table. Barely fits four drinks on it -- definitely no room for anything more. We got invited upstairs to the VIP lounge with the band after the concert. That was fun, too.
If you have never seen the Dan Band live, I would strongly suggest you take in this great show! The "hits" just keep on coming and the energy of the crowd is sweet! I love you Dan!
An all around great show! Laughed pretty much the entire time. Dan and his band perform estrogen based numbers in the way only someone with an excess amount of testosterone truly can.
A must see...saw it at club nokia in L.A...very funny, no slow moments...would definitely go see them again. HILARIOUS!
This is by far one of the best shows you could see. Tickets are inexpensive (except for Ticketmaster's outrageous fees), and you are very close to the band.
I had seen them before in a more reserved setting and they didn't really talk between songs. This show was incredible! It was a lot like their CD which I love and it was as much a comedy show as concert! I loved it! I bought the tickets as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and Christmas presents and he said his stomach hurt from laughing so hard!
It was a great experience! Not very expensive for a very enjoyable evening! The open seating was great, my sister and I sat 5th row center. We were very close to the aisle, and it was awesome that Dan came down into the audience for almost every song! Loved it.
Fantastic show!! I really wasn't that famiar with the band prior to the show so I didn't know what to expect going in but I am now a die hard fan!!!! Worth every penny!
I wasn't sure what exactly to expect from this band that I knew only from The Hangover and Old Skool but The Dan Band did not disappoint. From the choreography, to the props, to the quick wit of Dan Finnerty I had an amazing evening. I took my 56 and 57 year old Mom and Dad as a Christmas gift (yes, I'm kind of a weird daughter), and they had a blast!! Thanks The Dan Band, you made my holiday wishes come true.

We came to NYC from Florida to see the Killers at The Garden, they cancelled due to laryngitis the night before the concert. Having already flown into NYC, we decided to see The Dan Band, the Killers cancelation turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The Dan Band was the Best show Ever! Dan sang his heart out! 3 Encores, his back up dancers were like characters out of the Matrix, awesome. Great songs, crazy funny, truly a memorable evening! You have to see The Dan Band even if the Killers (or any other band) are in town at the same time and the Don't cancel.
nothing to say except that dan never fails to put on a great show. third time seeing him and this was better then the others. looking forward to seeing him again
Show was good. It was about what i expected. I wish he did a few older sons like "i will survive"
