  • The Cure is a can't miss show!

    by Masterpeng3 on 8/2/13Neal S Blaisdell Arena - HonoluluRating: 5 out of 5

A 3 hour + non stop performance! Robert Smith and the band were incredible! I attend a lot of concerts(5+ per year) and this was one of the best that I've ever been to. They played a 30+ plus song set, with songs from their early beginnings through their very latest material. The Cure was worth every penny of the 6th row ticket prices that I spent. Mahalo for coming to Hawai'i, hope to see you again soon!

  • 3.5 Hours of Quality

by KoreAmBear on 8/2/13Neal S Blaisdell Arena - HonoluluRating: 5 out of 5

I grew up in L.A., and the The Cure were a staple on KROQ along with Depeche Mode, New Order, and The Smiths. I'd never seen them play, and so for them to play Hawai`i for the first time, this was a no-brainer. Not many name bands come to Hawai`i so this was possibly my final opportunity. The set list was 38 songs, and they got to business right away with Open, and finished after two encores with Killing an Arab. My favorite songs live are The Forest and Want. Robert Smith's voice is still deeply resounding and never wavered throughout the hours of show. The show was a special one for Hawai`i, and I'll never forget it.

  • cure was awesome!

by inlow on 8/2/13Neal S Blaisdell Arena - HonoluluRating: 5 out of 5

Was impressed that everyone in the front row got to go back stage to meet the band. We met 2 people who got to do this. Hearing their stories was great! Was highly impressed with The Cure live. Most bands sound distorted and off key because the don't have the fancy studio to keep them sounding "on it." The Cure didn't need the studio they were on it all nite long! It was a great mixture of 80s classics and their newer songs. Will definitely recommend them if they tour again. Great in the 80s and even better 25 yrs later!! ;)

Great great concert. They played all of their old hit songs everybody wanted to hear for three hours with two encores. I was so happy to be there as a long time Cure fan. I saw them more than 20 years ago in NYC. My 13 years old son who had never heard their songs before also enjoyed the show.

  • The Cure killed it!

by PaulaJeanS on 8/2/13Neal S Blaisdell Arena - HonoluluRating: 5 out of 5

I was so excited to see the Cure but really didn't know what to expect after all these years. I had seen them twice before for the Disintegration tour and Bloodflowers tour but I gotta say, this was probably the best one I've seen! The sound was incredible and Robert Smiths voice was as good as in a recording. They played for almost 3 hours including the encores. Loved this show!!

  • The Cure was exactly what we needed!

Robert Smith was stellar. The band sounded fantastic, and Robert's voice was strong and they put on the most amazing 3.5 hour show. I would recommend this concert to anyone!

  • Robert Smith I still love you

by Yobs on 8/2/13Neal S Blaisdell Arena - HonoluluRating: 5 out of 5

The cure is as amazing as they were twenty years ago. Robert Smith still has it - quirky, talented, great unique voice, stamina etc. made me fall in love with him all over again. Simon Gallup ageless and incredible on bass. Two encores and they were just awesome. So good to their fans, played til nearly midnight. Why aren't they in the rock and roll hall of fame yet?

  • One of the best experiences of my life

    by Grindhouse69 on 6/8/13Foro Sol - Mexico CityRating: 5 out of 5

Loved The Cure pretty much my whole life. One of the few bands who can still surprise with incredible music time and time again. Seeing them live just solidified their genius. A true life milestone for me. And Robert Smith couldn't have been more gracious if he tried. Four hours of music and we still wanted more.

  • QUALITY CURE!

by Balletbbabe on 1/18/12The Beacon - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I took a trip across several states to attend and am very glad I did. After seeing The Cure in huge arena settings, it was phenomenal to be in the Beacon. There was good, close up visibility, great sound, and everyone was high on the Cure Channel. Unfamiliar with everything on the first 3 albums, I thought I might be lost, or worse, bored, but it was sheer delight from start to finish! I was transported into the music along with everyone else. Robert has always written well for his vocal range and his voice never sounded better. Thoroughly enjoyed the Cure Experience, energetic, and first rate playing by everyone. I appreciate also the fact that tickets were not open to scalpers by virtue of each purchase limited to 2 tickets. Thank you!
