Rating: 5 out of 5 Possesed All Night!
by HelenDaChef on 11/23/11Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesOMG The concert was amazing!! Robert Smith's voice sounded better than ever and his clever switching it up of guitars was genious! 3 hours of music and fantastic stage lighting, with only short breaks between, the show was electric! The Instrumental "A Reflection" and "The Funeral Party" were both haunting and hypnotic. "The Weedy Burton" had me shaking my whole body in a groovy trance and "Descent" followed by "Splintered in Her Head" took me even further down the rabbit hole.
Rating: 5 out of 5 The Cure does it again
by Brunothekid on 11/23/11Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesThree hours of an emotional roller coaster ride from 1979 to 1983, maybe 1984. It was better than ever. The band showed off how really talented they are as musicians. They played everything on the three albums, to include B-sides and instrumentals. It was a privilege to watch and listen. The sound quality was awesome and Robert and the Band had a genuine sense of having fun performing. I t was like being young again. The crowd loved it. The Cure was awesome and they continue to put on a refreshing show even while performing previous music that I have heard a million times. I can only wait if they will perform the next three albums or perform Trilogy for Los Angeles.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 11/23/11Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles So worth it!! Go if you have the opportunity. They not only play their first three albums but also many of their hits for the encore.
Rating: 5 out of 5 I wasn't a big Cure fan until now
by livemusic4ever on 11/23/11Pantages Theatre - HollywoodUp until now I have only listened to the popular songs by the Cure ("their hits). I was a little worried going to their show at the Pantages theatre knowing they were intending on playing their first 3 albums in their entirety which I hadn't ever listened to and probably only recognized a couple of songs. I came out of the show a huge Cure fan. From the first song to the last for each of these albums I couldn't believe how great these songs were........what made it even 10x better was the awesome/psychedelic/mind numbing light show that accompanied the entire performance. The Pantages Theatre was awesome. Fantastic acoustics. Fantastic architecture. Every seat in the house is a winner.

by VikkiLA on 11/23/11Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesThis show was mesmerizing. It was a truly sonic experience that was enjoyable from start to finish. The band sounded tight and the vocals were incredible. The acoustics of Pantages Theater are amazing and I don't think I'll ever miss a show of interest there again.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Still Giddy
by Balletbbabe on 11/19/11The Beacon - NY CityI have seen them live 5 times and their sound is always impressive, no matter the location or size and accoustics of the venue. Robert writes very well for his range, and they always played full out in their shows for a minimum of 2 hours with very popular encores ad infinitum. They make me giddy, after all these years. Must be all that black dye I put in my hair?lol Why no! It is their muscian-ship. So looking forward to the Beacon show. Making a special trip to share my thanks this Thanksgiving.

by Kdizz on 2/27/11Coachella Music and Arts Festival - IndioI have seen them several times, but the last time I saw them was absolutely epic! They played forever, even past the venues "curfew"! With their amps off and the lights on, they continued to play. Their set and playing was amazing. Really, just a great band to see live.
