  • Robert Smith / The Cure made a night to remember

by HIHWUDN on 5/23/16Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5

It was freezing - beginning to end. But the 3 hour 34 song concert was an awesome memory. Robert Smith's voice sounded like it was from the 80's - awesome range and awesome sound.

  • The Cure... Wonderful as EVER!

by Elyzebeth on 5/23/16Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5

The set list was definitely geared towards die hard fans, which I am one, so yay. We did hear some girls complain that they didn't recognize any of the songs, so if you are a casual fan wanting to relive your youth, it may not be for you.

  • Venue sucks, Bobby Smith's voice still amazing

by Aloysius88 on 5/23/16Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista - Chula VistaRating: 3 out of 5

Am done with Sleep Train as its a fitting title sponsor as you'll need a mattress while you are stuck in gridlock getting in/out if this nightmare. Cure sounded great and played some classic older tracks but left out some standards

  • Great Show

Worth every penny. Fun times. Nice long set list. Great sound

  • Simply Awesome!

It had been a couple of years since The Cure came to San Diego but when they do come they never disappoint. They played most of my favorite songs and then some. I just wish they don't take so long to come back again.

Music/vocals were outstanding. Really enjoyed the performance. I thought the production was lacking- lighting, cameras, effects. Who wants to see primarily a fish eye view of the crowd from the back of the drummer? I think they should have several cameras to show Robert Smith and the band during the event.

  • The best they've ever been!!! Do not miss them!!

by DJ3one3 on 5/22/16The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The entire band is in incredible form. Robert Smith is at the top of his game. As a performer who's usually known to be somber without too much banter between songs, besides the occasional "thank you" after songs, he was a whole different guy this time. Robert smiled, danced around, joked around with us and told small anecdotes. He was absolutely engaging and kept all of the sold out crowd hanging on every moment. The entire band seemed to be happily surprising one another. The look on their faces as they smiled and encouraged each other was priceless. They played an unbelievable 32 song set that included 3 encores and covered nearly every album. For me, the exclusion of the 'Pornography' album was a small bummer, but it was easily overcome by the sheer magnificence of the whole show. Having been to hundreds of concerts this was easily in my top 5, and trust me I've been to some incredible shows. I can't stress enough how important it is for you to go to this tour. You might have to drive a few hours, but I promise you it's worth it. Even if you have to buy tickets on the resale market, DO IT!!!! This show will leave you smiling for weeks after the show and driving your friends crazy with tales of how incredibly awesome it was. I'm not one to write these reviews usually, but in this case I was compelled to because I felt as if I didn't I would be doing a disservice to those who might be on the fence. This is a band on top of their game performing for the pleasure of it and it shows. Thank you so much to the entire band for making my year!

I want to go again! The Cure is just awesome! Next time, want to go with someone I am wanting to know better, or possibly in love with to share the special moment of witnessing a really great band play really cool tunes.

Robert Smith still got it. Still sound the same just like the many Cure concerts I've seen in the 80's if not better.

Played for over 3 hours. Sounded fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

  • The Cure: Not to be missed!

by Rushfandude on 5/21/16Don Haskins Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

The show in El Paso was incredible! Over three hours of The Cure. For a die-hard fan, this was just great! It is so typical of this band--very generous to their fans. The light show and LED displays alone were worth it! A million-dollar show! Just awesome! The only downside were the people around me. C'mon folks, this is The Cure!! Get up and move! Man, I looked around and people looked bored out of their minds! Maybe they were just stunned by the greatness of the one of the most influential bands of all time!

  • Beyond Amazing!!

by MintcarOctober on 5/21/16Don Haskins Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

Second time seeing The Cure Live and it's a mind blowing, beyond Amazing show they put on! A band that still sounds amazing after 40 years, it's definitely more than worth the price of your ticket. When you get the chance go see them! Even if you're not a fan....you'll become one!

  • Amazing as always!

by Cajunmomma2 on 5/20/16UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

Unbelievably awesome!! Robert Smith's voice is just as strong as it always was!! Worth every penny of ticket! I mean come on - besides playing the standard 1 1/2 - 2 hr concert, then coming back not just for 1, not for 2 or 3 but 4 - I repeat 4 encores ---what else could you ask for!! Dare I say nothing!! Yes, yes, yes!!!

  • Get Cured

by Travail7 on 5/20/16Don Haskins Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

The Cure played an amazing set chalked full of their usual hits, but more importantly their not so often played gems that fans of the band crave. I was so excited to hear "Burn" from the Crow soundtrack, in addition to "Fascination Street." The band played for roughly 3 hours, keeping fans happy all night and giving them more than their money's worth. It was a little confusing to see them walk off stage about five different times. It was hard to tell what the true final encore was. Beyond that, this is a band you need to catch while there's still a chance.

  • Nice concert

by Mauriciogar on 5/20/16Don Haskins Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

Good show worth every penny because they played +3 hrs, Mr Smith is an awesome frontman and also the bassist Simon Gallup amazing musicians. The only bad thing is that screens on the back don't focus on Robert smith.

  • Best CURE concert ever!

by Alleyboy on 5/20/16Don Haskins Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing, hands downrhe best Cure concert I've ever attended. Robert Smith sounds amazing, better than the recordings. He also loves pleasing the crow and really loves playing live. You definitely get more than your money's worth at a Cure concert. Highly recommended!!
