  • Not As Good As It Should Have Been

by paulfam on 6/23/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Show was way too long because there were four encores, which was completely unnecessary. That many encores kill momentum, drag out the show, and ultimately make for an unsatisfying show. Condense the 4 into 2 at the very least.

  • The Cure unbelievale.

Still one of the greatest bands. Unbelievable live!!1

Rock show, who knew? Not much melancholy here. Fantastic!

  • The Cure was the bomb!

by GMSteve on 6/23/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Robert Smith has still got the vocals. Sounds the same as he did 30 years ago. The band cranked! Played around 30 songs and did 4 encores. Band was terrific and the song selection was perfect! Go see them now!

Robert Smith is a genius. Still rocking and puts on an amazing show.

  • Cure exceeded expectations!!!

by rmorris40 on 6/23/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

They sounded awesome, and Robert and company were in an awesome mood, doing 4 encores. They also brought out some pretty obscure songs, which hard core fans would love but average fans wouldn't recognize. Crowd was very energetic and of course went crazy on their big hits. Ticket and tshirt prices were reasonable too. I've seen The Cure three times now and this is the best they've ever sounded.

  • Extradordinary as Usual

This was the fourth time I have seen Robert Smith and the Cure and the second time at MSG.Two of the shows I brought my son and one show my daughter and the other one I went with my best friend. This man and band NEVER FAILS TO THRILL, PLEASE, EXCITE, AND GIVE ALL to their devoted fans, old and new. If you are a fan you know what I am talking about. We can hear all the great songs Smith has penned over and over because of the sincerity and creativity of the most underrated song writer of rock. I dont see the Cure as a dark goth depressive band as many tag them with. I see Smith as a creative musical genius who goes to the deepest parts of his soul and tries to express his feelings in his most honest and poetic way. And the band itself is nothing short of precise and creative and an amazing group of accomplished musicians. LONG LIVE RS AND THE CURE!!!

  • The Cure was epic!

by Seventhmoon on 6/23/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment they stepped on the stage, it was a stream of everything I'd ever wanted to hear live from them. Absolutely the best concert ever.

The concert was lacking overall energy and the playlist was weak. I went to hear songs I knew. Even the encores were disappointing. Expensive tickets and before the show was over, people seemed to be masss exiting.

Amazing show! Lots and lots of old material that was and still is amazing. They even threw in some less popular ones. Fantastic show!

  • Its all about the sound

by TheRealKarMa on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Robert Smith gets BETTER with age. Each time I see him its a better show. I would go back as many times as humanly possible. The sound was just stellar

  • Sound was awful

by Ramsey on 6/22/16MSG - ManhattanRating: 3 out of 5

Was so excited to see the Cure again. I haven't seen them since the 80's. The light show was great and Roberts voice was in top form but the sound was muddied most of the show. The bass was mixed so high up at times it drowned out everyone else. The two guitars at times were hard to make out. It wasn't the whole show though because some songs did sound great. Too bad, if not for that problem this concert would have gotten a 5. They played for 3 hours.

  • A night to remember

by Mjody on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Robert sounds as good now as he did 30 years ago.Hope they come back soon

  • The Cure was Amazing

by FingerpunchEchelon on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time, no long lines, quick entry into the venue. Concession stands went quickly. Bartenders were amazing! As for the concert. Robert Smith does not disappoint! Only wished the overhead viewing monitors had a better picture than my cellphone camera. Did I say Robert Smith and The Cure were AMAZING!

  • Awesome Cure!

by metkulu on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The Cure sounded great . I thought as you get older your voice weakens. Not in this case. The band was tight and Robert Smith sounded just like the Robert in the ninety's and their CD's Great show and played for 3 hrs. Well Done!

  • Picasio

by Anonymous on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I waited 30 years to see them live. They were beyond my expectation three encores you can't be that the price was so little compared to how many memories I was able to rekindle.

  • The Cure was tight!

by MLN290 on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show! Robert Smith's vocals were awesome and the band was tight. Well worth the price! 4 encores and 32 songs!

  • R U Kidding me?! THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT!

by PiggyintheMirror on 6/22/16Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

So, this was my 51st Cure concert and I have to say it just NEVER gets old. The band (changes often) but they are just a breath of fresh air. After I saw them in Boston, I said to myself-they make me feel like I am young again...they make me feel like I am fun again! Amazing show! Amazing band! Can't wait for the next show!

  • The Cure- Best concert everrrrr!!!!
