We were able to view the first show at the new Redbank Road Location and it was phenomenal! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The show was awesome and so was the cast. Can't wait to see another show!

This was my sons (5) first play and he loved it. It was perfect for a child to see as far as content and duration.

Frisch Marionettes Puppets Kapow was GREAT!

by KRMB on 3/15/17Showtime Stage - Cincinnati

I took my 2 youngest children along with my mother and grandmother to the show. Kevin Frisch is truly talented from designing the puppets to performing. We loved how at the end of the performance he showed how to make puppets of your own. He is now my youngest Youtube favorites.

Great way to spen quality time

    by PreK1 on 3/14/17Showtime Stage - Cincinnati

I took my 4 year old granddaughter. This kept her attention and she could relate as well as understand and see clearly the performance. 45 minutes was perfect amount of time for this age group

    Frisch is Awesome

by DaddyReviewer on 3/13/17Showtime Stage - Cincinnati

Mr. Frisch is a true ambassador for his craft. The crowd is largely Kindergarten or pre-K, but there is no restlessness for the hour-long show and demonstration. We will always come to see new Frisch Marionette shows.

    Soooo Good!

by momofjoeyandali on 2/22/17Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

This production was absolutely fantastic! I was shocked at the level of entertainment for the $$. My 3 year old was totally captivated. Dorothy was awesome and we loved the scarecrow. Definitely worth every penny!

The Wizard of Oz - The Children's Theatre of Cinti

    by CJC2017 on 2/22/17Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

The Wizard of Oz was great! Just long enough and hit all of the main plots in that amount of time. Cast was superb especially Dorothy and the Scarecrow. Highly recommend!

The person behind me, sang every song and was talking the whole time.there was no ushers near me to tell her to stop. I found it very annoying.

    Excitedkids

by addyemgrand on 2/15/17Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

The entire show was electrifying. My grandchildren had seen the production in another venue and seen the movie several times BUT they were still spellbound throughout the entire show. The actors and actresses brought the scenes to life and you felt like you were right there on stage trying to find your way home via the yellow brick road. We drove about 90 miles to enjoy this experience but it was worth every penny. The tickets were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I had to order tickets online and the seats on the lower level were not available for purchase. There were several seats on the lower level there were not filled.

    Wonderful Experience, Incredible Performance!

by KristaGully on 2/15/17Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

I took my five year old son to this as a special little Valentine's Day date for us. We were not disappointed! The show was great! The theatre even had booster seats available for young children or small children sitting close to the front like we did. I would absolutely recommend this to friends and I'd love to see it again myself. Our favorite characters were; The Cowardly Lion, Munchkins, The Scarecrow and The Tin Man. However, everyone did an incredible job!

Very good. Funny. Moving. Contains most if not all of the scenes from the original movie. Music authentic.

Elf was way too "adult" for little kids

    by sewinglady1 on 12/22/16Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

The play didn't hold the children's interest. It wasn't magical like Charlie Brown was last year. It was more suited to 12 or 14 year olds.

    Elf

by KYgrandma on 12/20/16Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

The play was fine but our seats were near the top of Taft Theater making it hard to see or hear. It was so hot in the theater we had to fan just for it to be tolerable. When leaving the theater we went down the back exit to try to avoid all the people and since it was so hot we wanted to get out. The steps were poorly lit and I actually missed the bottom step and fell down. Not my best night at the theater.
