The Chicks are one of country music’s most influential and boundary-pushing groups. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1989 by sisters Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) rocketed to pop stardom with the addition of lead vocalist Natalie Maines in 1995. The multi-platinum trio would go on to win 12 Grammy Awards and become the best-selling female band of all time in the U.S., with 33 million albums sold worldwide. By blending honky-tonk with bluegrass and soaring pop vocals, The Chicks appealed to a diverse audience that stretched far beyond their country roots. Signature hits like 1999’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and 1998’s “Wide Open Spaces,” along with their bluegrass virtuosity, saw The Chicks go from opening for Tim McGraw in 1999 to headlining massive concert tours that have sold over $100 million in tickets. 2020’s Gaslighter (produced by Jack Antonoff) was The Chicks’ first album in 14 years, and the catalyst for a 2023 tour where country-pop superstar Maren Morris will join the trio on a string of dates.

Was such an awesome concert! Seriously the best. Only down fall is that there was a few technical glitches
It was great to be a part of one giant sing-a-long with the Dixie Chicks at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. The Chicks were in a great groove from start to finish. Maintain your course Chicks!
The Dixie chicks were bad ass they were so good. I will so c them again
This was a fun show - lots of excited fans, many with cowboy boots, standing for the entire concert. Only disappointment was the sound. It was overly loud, and distorted. Mixed with the bass often overpowering everything else, including the vocals. One certainly couldn't have understand any of the words of the songs without knowing them in advance. Fortunately, they stayed mostly away from politics, I, like most others, see that as a distraction from the music, and don't really care how they feel about politics, I just like their music. Good show! Enjoyable.
After my 4th Dixie Chicks concert, was still very impressed.
So glad I was able to see the Dixie Chicks live, they were everything I imagined. The variety of music they played, the tributes to Prince and seeing their kids. The sets were amazing and the cinematography was beautiful. Their voices are still the same strong and clear. Just love them.
The Dixie Chicks are SO quality, so awesome and so real. They are and sound incredible, and they look like they are having a blast - best of both worlds.
This was my third time seeing the Chicks. It was an entertaining show as in the past. The band played and sounded great. However, I was a disappointed with the setlist. Too many cover songs played. Eight covers were played compared to only one song from Wide Open Spaces. That was disappointing. Opening acts were okay. I really didn't think they were needed. The Chicks have enough songs in their bags to play the whole night.
Overall I was impressed. I'm not a huge Chicks fan...took my girl and went with another couple who are fans. They didn't play all their old hits, but most. It was a mix...flipping back between slow and uptempo songs, with string-driven countryish songs to louser heavy beat rock/pop samples. The DCX don't actually play their instruments much, but have very good voices. It was a pretty rockin' show. Also, Dixie Chicks makes vendors remove caps from water bottles preventing you from carrying them in your pocket, which means less hands for carrying beer!
Amazingly talented women who obviously enjoy performing. They were very generous with their time- 2 hours of play. Loved every minute, including the tribute to Prince! They exceeded my expectations.
Dixie Chicks were fantastic. It was the best concert EVER! I can't wait to see them again!!
While this show is one for the fans, any fan of rock and country will enjoy this show. I hope they don't wait another 10 years to tour.
This was one of the best concerts I have seen! The song choices were awesome. Their best songs were Goodbye Earl, and Not Ready to Make Nice! It was a great variety of rock, country, and classic Dixie Chicks with a few covers thrown in from Prince and Beyonce. Definitely entertaining!
The Dixie Chicks are amazing musicians and entertainers. Their energy was incredible on this humid summer evening. They engaged the audience from the start. The crowd loved them, yelling, "I love you" along with much screaming and shouting. The multi-media screen effects were visually wonderful and corresponded nicely with the songs. One of the top three concerts I have seen in my lifetime! Don't miss them.
Great venue! Great seats (Row L, Seats 13&14). Great selection of beverages at the venue too!
I have loved them since the beginning, and when I saw they were touring I bought the tickets as fast as I could! Amazing concert, and they gave us vintage, new and even a prince tribute, and nailed it. Still beautiful and AMAZING TALENT!!! Worth every penny
the chicks sounded great! however, it was really a bummer that you couldn't see them! even though we had pretty decent seats. there were NO screens on the side of the stage so, they were just tiny people in the distance - unless you were in the first few rows i guess. i have been to shows before at hershey were they DID have the screens working, so i can not understand why the chicks wouldn't have them. it may have had something to do with the storm before the show.... unfortunately, because of a pretty quick but heavy storm, they had to delay the show and the two opening acts did not play at all. we felt a little gypped by this too! we thought the chicks would at least have them join them for a song or two - it must have been pretty disappointing to those artists. lastly, the chicks ended at 10:45, and played NO ENCORE! we couldnt believe it! i am a die-hard dixie chicks fan, and have been to several of their concerts and this one was by far the only disappointment. my friends who are not quite as loyal of fans were really pissed and felt that the chicks gave off the vibe that the tour was all about making money for them - and not about what would be the best experience for the fans. i want to believe that this is not so..... but this experience will make me think long and hard before spending another $100 on a dixie chicks show :-(
We didn't arrive in time to see the opening acts, mainly due to traffic. However, when the Dixie Chicks hit the stage, it was incredible! The vocal harmonies were on point. They performed all the songs I wanted to hear. They even covered a Beyonce song - and it was excellent! Wasn't enthused about the encore, but the rest of the show was great!
Dixie Chicks were as good as ever. Natie still does all the talking. Every song you love they played and to two opening bands were worth picking up their music too. Anderson East has a soulful blues voice that does not fit the face it comes out of
