Featuring her beloved chart-topping hits, The Cher Show will feature a book by Rick Elice (Tony Award-winning best musical Jersey Boys), direction by Jason Moore (Tony Award-winning best musical Avenue Q), choreography by Tony Award-winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), and orchestrations, arrangements and musical supervision by Tony Award-winner Daryl Waters (Memphis).
My husband and I wanted to love this musical so much! The music, costumes and dancing were amazing. All three sheriffs were extremely talented… But very confusing. I think it would be better with one share and hair changes or something. The script seen clunky. Cher deserves a more professional play then this!
Show is great. Talent is wonderful. Loved all the music.Needs a little tweaking. Tighten it up. A little too long. But go see it. So entertaining First act is better than the second.
The Cher Show was beyond fabulous. The manner in which songs from different eras were interwoven into the story of Cher's rise and fall(ish) and rise again, etc. was done with panache. It seems to sound impossible BUT while the story was chronological, the songs were put in when needed and were out of order quite often. I have never seen a better show (almost including her own shows of which I have seen a few-I said ALMOST). The language is Cher so it may bot be for everyone, and the Rob-bagel boy thing was a bit too drawn out, but I highly recommend this show just for production value and costumes alone. Go if you get the chance!!!!!
The musical Cher was a real joy for my wife and I. The performers were first rate especially the three portraying Cher. We of course knew all the songs and sang along to most. I’d recommend Cher to anyone.
The cast was excellent. The costumes were amazing. Cher was informative and entertaining. I would go see it again.
Excellent show. Good music. The threes ladies playing Cher were great. Wonderful finale. Really enjoyed this show.
