First off, the oldest of the 3 actresses that played Cher was superb! The story of her life followed with her music was revealing, touching, sad and amazing! You have to see this to really understand her. I liked her and her music before, but I have a more moving opinion of her now! Love the songs, the dance routines, and especially the walk down memory lane with her Bob Mackie outfits!!
I really love The Cher Show. I have been a Cher fan ever since I was five years old watching The Sonny And Cher Comedy Hour.

What a great show!!! Would see it over and over again. The music and dancing were amazing. Over 2 1/2 hours of wonderfulness.
The songs and costumes were amazing, however the focus was on her early days. The relationship with Sonny was kind of elongated and doesn't really focus on Cher's past 25 years which would capture a younger audience. There was really no reference after Cher's movie appearances on Moonstruck or Mask.
which I expect will be even better once it gets to NYC! First Stephanie J. Block was just incredible. She sounded so much like Cher! The other two Chers were also excellent. And Sonny did his job well as comic relief-especially the first time he sang! I think some of the scenes need to be tightened up and shortened. As a non-fashionista, I thought the scene with the parade of Bob Mackie creations was a bit over the top, but I understand why it was in the show and why many people love it. I also forgot at times that there was a reality show concept happening that Cher was the star of. Interesting concept-just a bit hard to follow at times.
The costumes were amazing. The show lacked something. Not enough of Cher's songs were featured. They were sung Broadway show style and I needed to hear them as Cher sang them.
Absolutely one of the top 3 shows I have ever seen!
Was a good show but because it was so long and because I lot interest late in the 2nd act I forgot all that I really enjoyed about the show. IMHO cut the large production of Bang, Bang as well as whatever the song Sonny and Greg Allman sang. Was fun, costumes were amazing but all I really remember was the length of the show.
