    CDB Rocked the house!

by rwtodd2007 on 11/28/09Grand Casino Mille Lacs Event Center - Onamia

One of the best CDB shows I have ever seen. Charlie was great, interacted with the crowd, and made it feel like you were the only one he was signing to.

I was very disappointed. The music, what there was of it, was good. The concert wasn't even 1 1/2 hours. It was about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It was supposed to "Christmas" he only sang 2 Christmas songs. No encore' Just said goodbye and it wasdone. It took me 2 hrs to go see him and that was all I got? BAD!! For the price I had to pay I should have gotten more.

    Charlie Daniels Still Rocks

by retiredCPO on 11/28/09Grand Casino Mille Lacs Event Center - Onamia

The band came out with guns blazing. All members of the group were at their best. The concert was only 1hour 15 min long but filled with music. they did most of their greatest hit, some christmas songs, and a new song. the music was tight with alot of solos. charlie still has a great voice and his fiddle playing was very good. I would say this was a very worthwhile show.

It is readily apparent the Charlie Daniels, whom I've loved for many years, has deemed it necessary to change what got him where he is today. The words in Devil Went Down to Georgia, for example. I went to show to see a man that I thought was top shelf, but what I got in return was something out of the well. The lyrics to one of his songs was watch where your going and know where you've been. With all due respect Mr. Daniels, practice what you preach.

Awesome performances by all the band memberss

by 1Skykar24u on 10/2/09Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

The band members are fantastic musicians in their own right and Charlie Daniels was exceptional! It was a great show and I was prouder than ever to be an American. Thank you to Charlie Daniels for all he stands for....I was so happy to hear him proclaim his Christianity and his love for country and most of all for Jesus Christ.

by KimandJim on 10/2/09Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

It's hard to believe this man's fingers move so well. He's surrounded himself with very talented musicians, and who doesn't love a rousing rendition of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"??

    Better than I expected

by kbsal on 8/30/09Duquoin State Fair - Duquoin

When I know the type of music I'm going to see , I then have an idea what to expect. I was then pleasantly surprised by the quality of the overall performance. That's the reason for the 5 star rating from me. A man 20 years his jr. would do well to give as much heart into a concert. The band he has on tour now is worth the admission alone. Rock solid drummer. All musicians gave solo's of about right time lenght. Some of the fast, up-tempo music was surprisingly tight. I have a wide viriety of music taste, but mostly rock to hard rock is my favorite. I do think that the sound tech was trying to prove how much bottom 150- 250 hz. they had available for an outside venue, as the bass guitar and kick was very prevalent, although not distorted. The wife and I enjoyed ourselves as to never forget how much this man puts into his show. He sang a gospel song and the sheer drive and quality of his voice was impressive. Very "Down to earth" person. I feel as if I could sit down and talk to him as if we were buddies. That says something by todays standard. Glad I was able to catch the show. Way to go Charlie

    Amazing Show

    by wendyu1 on 8/30/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Hands down the best concert that I've seen. My friend, who had little knowledge of Charlie Daniels Band, absolutely loved the show - they have a new fan. I grew up with CDB so it was a trip down memory lane with some new material thrown in. Highly recommend !

    Lovin It"

by CMCTN on 8/28/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

I thought the CD concert was amazing! It such a unique setting I felt like I was home with him. I have never seen the CD band and was quite impressed. Beside's Charlie of course his band was incredable. It was sort of cross between Southern Rock, Jazz. I loved it and am going to find his next date here in TN. Need to see him again!!
