This was my first time to the Celtic Nutcracker and it was outstanding! The dancing, the costumes and the portrayal of the story of the Nutcracker were very well done. The three others in my group were accomplished step dancers (one from Ireland) and they were impressed. We all enjoyed the show very much!
Another great edition of the Celtic Nutcracker. Some new dances, new music, and new scenes, but still an amazingly talented group of young Irish dancers performing a Christmas favorite to the delight of all.
A very sweet performance by excellent dancers. The adaptation is a little awkward at times and the over-all quality of the performance is recital/local high school theater level. However, the dancers were outstanding and every single performer gave his/her very best. The brother/mouse king dancer was adorable and we especially loved the banshee and traditional broom dances.
The Celtic Nutcracker was performed flawlessly and was very entertaining! The portrayal of so many different characters and so many different scenes was impressive. I would have been pleased if it were adults performing these dances. However, the fact that it was children that were able to dance with such grace and beauty, I am VERY IMPRESSED with their performance! Beautiful costumes, great scene set up, overall magnificent job by all involved!!!
This is totally unbiased as I do not have children, grandchildren or friend's children in the production. It was wonderful! Since the acts are quite different from the traditional Nutcracker there was a narrator before each scene explaining what we would be seeing; that was a stroke of brilliance and kept me from expecting the traditional story. Oh, don't worry there is still a Mouse King and he is still vanquished. The performers ranged from 7 to 17 and displayed incredible talent, I believe all danced multiple roles and maintained energy, focus and straight legs through out both acts. Well, a few of the wee ones didn't but their cuteness factor made you not care. If you like children, Celtic music and Irish dancing; Go see it next year!
Delightful way to spend some time in Ireland! Loved all the scenes aand marvel at the amount of work the dancers and support people give!
Very well done choreography and costuming. The dancers were wonderful. This will be a new holiday tradition for our family.

In its third year, the show continues to be an impressive display of the talented Irish dancers from the Millennium Academy. The choreography, costumes, and music combine to create unforgettable entertainment in this imaginative Celtic version of a holiday favorite. A marvelous show for the whole family!

Our family loved Millennium Academy's presentation of the Celtic Nutcracker! This Irish dance twist to the holiday favorite was wonderful. Families should consider adding this to their annual December traditions -- it's a winner!!
