Directed by Ernie Nolan

Emerald City Theatre's production of THE CAT IN THE HAT, based on the book by Dr. Seuss and adaptation by Katie Mitchell, is the perfect friend for a boring rainy afternoon. This Dr. Seuss classic leaps onto the stage with chaotic exuberance in this adaptation from the National Theatre in London.

    Show ONLY 30 MINUTES!!!

by braid on 6/18/13Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

While the quality of the show was well done, we were shocked at the short length of the show. It was exactly 30 minutes which for the cost and the expectation was ridiculous. The show was scheduled at 10 am. It started 5 minutes late, ended at 10:35 and was followed by a 10 minute introduction of cast and question/answer session. Extremely dissapointed. Would not attend another show at this theater. Felt cheated.

    Love That Cat!

by Mama2nini on 6/18/13Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Took our 5-1/2 year daughter to see the play on Fathers Day. The smiles and laughters that the play brought to her was priceless. She, along with my husband & I, were mesmerized by all the characters. We enjoyed the interaction that the cast members had with the audience. Everyone was enjoying the show. After the show the audience was able to meet the characters and have their autographs. Our daughter told us while waiting in line "I've never asked for an autograph before but this is sooo exciting". Thank you to all the cast members (and those behind the hidden booth)!
