Words can't describe how amazing the concert was. The Brain Setzer Ochrstra is wonderful in their own right. To be backed up by the full Los Angeles Orchestra took it to the next level. The sound was so rich and incredible. Brian Setzer is on his game and sounds just as good live as he does on any record/cd. I have always enjoyed his music and song writing. I became a huge fan after this show.
From the very begininning to the very end...it was non-stop ROCKING music by the very talented Brian and his orchestra AND the HB orchestra as well! A speical treat this time around were the BS dancers! WOW...just great. I tried to get up and dance, BUT...unfortnatley...I was told to SET DOWN right away :-(
B.Setzer and company kept the heatwave going well into the night.
We had a great time, the best part is that we got to enjoy this moment with our kids. We had a lot of fun.
The best live performance by a musician that I have ever seen, at one of my favorite venues.
The first half of the concert was forgettable. I enjoyed the second half a little more because of the addition of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
I was with my best friend and that is what made it more amazing but I'll be here to review the actual event. :) "The Brian Setzer Orchestra" was amazing, the music was beautiful, I've always loved big band/swing type of music. I didn't expect dancers to be onstage during the concert and that added to the excitement in the atmosphere of the concert. My best friend and I were just shocked that Setzer still had such a great voice, that guy has some lungs on him! Woo! His guitar solos were spectacular and when the orchestra all came together at once, it was POWERFUL! It was a great concert and I'm thankful I could attend it. :)
Brian Setzer Orchestra was so energetic and performed a great show Saturday night at the Hollywood Bowl. Always been a fan of his hits.
It was a good show, albeit it not a great one. Brian was in fine form and the songs are most all proven. The LA Philharmonic presence didn't add much to the depth of the music; we probably would have liked the show as much or more without the orchestral accompaniment. The ending fireworks show was nicely choreographed. All in all, a good show on a magically warm evening that made the entirety of the experience a very special Bowling night.
Absolutely loved this show. We took our new friends from Arizona to see Brian Setzer. This was their first time at the Bowl and they're ready to go back.
Had a very enjoyable night seeing Brian Setzer play. He is a terrific guitarist.

Setzer was energetic, dynamic, and very talented. Fireworks were fabulous, the best ever at the Bowl!!!!
The first half was so out of balance with the sound, you could hardly understand him. It was better the second half. Great music and he is an incredible talent. Always great at the Hollywood Bowl.
Hadn't seen Brian Setzer perform in years ~ what a priviledge it was to see him and his 18-piece orchestra perform alongside the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by Thomas Wilkins. I was blown away. "Sleepwalk" with strings added in took my breath away. Thrilled to see that the band can still "Rock This Town!"

Brian Setzer's Hollywood Bowl show was awsome!! The full orchestra really added to the show.
