Setzer event great except too loud

by bzybill on 12/20/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Brian Setzer's orchestra is great, but the sound system wasn't balanced and was too loud. I couldn't hear the individual instruments due to the blare of the sound system. maybe I'll try another of his CD's

    My best gift ever!!!!

by Woogieboggy on 12/20/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

To see The Brian Setzer Orchestra was on my husbands Bucket List so I purchased tickets for him for our 24th wedding Anniversary. It was better than we imagined, you could truly feel the Christmas Spirit exploding all around. The warmth we felt from Mr. Setzer and the Orchestra was overwhelming. AWESOME MUSICIANS! We'll be looking forward to seeing them again & again. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime.

Good family Christmas show. My kids are in band at school, and they really enjoyed the horns. Brian's voice still sounds good. I wish it lasted longer, only about 90 minutes.

    Setzer Christmas

by WopLogic on 12/20/11California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

AMAZING - Absolutely fabulous, unique, entertaining, and a whole lot more. Great location - the old theatre was PERFECT for this event! High quality musicianship and arrangements by all. Visually and audibly appealing to multiple generations. Christmas-themed offerings were tasteful and innovative. Great mix of old stuff (Stray Cats), new stuff (originals) and Christmas-time music done in the Setzer big-band style. I would see him/them again without hesitation.

such a fun show! The band was on fire, whether playing with the horns or just paring it down to the 3 piece. I was so blessed to be there.

    Brian Setzer Orchestra

by CapedCrusader on 4/22/11Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Christmas with a 17 piece orchestra led by one of the best guitarists to strum the strings. I've followed Brian from the Stray Cats (early 80's) to the present. He puts on a great show, incredible music blending rockabilly with classical instruments that will make you "cut a rug!" No one in the retro swing line-up plays and performs better than Brian. His DVD's are fantastic...seeing him live is pure magic.

Brian Setzer is no Mr. Scrooge

by vivashra on 12/13/10Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

If you want to get yourself in the Christmas spirit, Brian Setzer and his Orchestra will be glad to help. I saw him at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN and the show was outstanding. He and the band played all the Christmas standards, rockabilly style, plus hits from the Stray Cats era. People were dancing in the isles and singing along. At the end of the 2 1/2 hour show, Christmas was alive and well at the Ryman. Thanks, Santa Brian.
