THE BOOK OF MORMON ON TOUR

The New York Times calls it "the best musical of this century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weeklysays, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's THE BOOK OF MORMON, the nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical.

This outrageous musical comedy follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. Now with standing room only productions in London, on Broadway, and across North America, THE BOOK OF MORMON has truly become an international sensation.

    Funny Show

    by Nandj1028 on 4/4/23Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Parked at a local garage wich made travel easier. Show was funny, singing was great. At times some of the lines were hard to hear when the actors were singing. Overall, great experience.

I haven’t laughed that hard at a play/musical in a long time. All of the performers were excellent. I highly recommend seeing Book of Mormon.

    Fun, Energetic Show

by DharmaOne on 4/3/23Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Been looking forward to the show for quite a while - it did not disappoint. Great city for the venue. Only problem was the half seat we were sold that was hardly usable for an adult with two legs. These end seats should be removed from the theatre or noted for child use only. Other than that, great evening.

This was one of the funniest Broadway shows I have ever seen

by KJP on 4/3/23Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Never knew a show about religious faith could make me laugh so hard. While stepping across the line multiple times, I couldn't help but realize we take things like religion to serious. Lighten up, laugh out load and enjoy the show.

The show was FANTASTIC & HILARIOUS!!! So worth the ticket price. Was very skeptical of our seats thinking we would get a decent view but was very pleasantly surprised. It was a great night for all.

    Wonderfully irreverent!

by TriciaS on 4/2/23Cadillac Palace - Chicago

True to Trey Parker and Matt Stone's style, this musical pushed the envelope just far enough to make us laugh and gasp at the same time! The singing, dancing, and acting was truly phenomenal. I am so happy I was able to see this hilariously irreverent show!

    Not so hot

by Kat on 4/1/23Cadillac Palace - Chicago

When I purchased my tickets, I did not realize balcony seats take you so far away from the performance. Also, the sound does not carry into the balcony so it was hard to hear the performance. I realize balcony seats are cheaper, therefore giving the audience a less than favorable experience, but I did not realize how much. I still paid over $150 for my seats so I feel I should have received, at least that much, entertainment. Secondly, it's really hot in the balcony. I am glad, I had a sleeveless top on underneath my jacket but my husband was not so fortunate. Finally, the bar closed at intermission so we couldn't even get water. With it being so hot and without water, my second half experience was even further ruined. I really should give two stars, but gave the third star to the performers who were excellent as far as I could tell from subpar section I was seated in.

    Very entertaining show

by Jake Kuska on 3/31/23Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Am not a musical guy at all really but the Book of Mormon was extremely funny kept me intrigued all the way to the end. I’m a fan of South Park which is why I wanted to see it and it did not disappoint. Even the musical parts of it were entertaining

The Book of Mormon is the greatest

by CRKR on 9/6/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

What a terrific show. I brought my entire family to see the production and it was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I had seen it on tour 3 years ago but this group was by far and away much superior. Go see it if you get the chance.

LOVE LOVE LOVE BOOK OF MORMON!!

by Cadi623 on 8/20/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

This was our second time seeing this show in the same theater, about two years apart. Our first was an obstructed view in the back of the main floor, this was Row A of the Mezzanine. SPRING FOR THE GOOD SEATS!! Lol, it really made the show tremendously better. The actors were amazing, and the show left me smiling from ear-to-ear. The only disappointment was the actor in the role of Arnold, his acting was good, but he had a higher-pitched whiny voice and didn't have a good singing voice. The first time we saw it he was much better.

    Mesmerizing!!

by bwaycrze on 8/19/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

I have seen this play 10 times now, and the final performance in Chicago was the best ever!! They cast pulled out all of the stops to make it a performance never to be forgotten. Although I will be seeing the play again, first back in New York, and then Richmond, Va., this was Magic!!!
