The Amazing Kreskin Tickets

Kreskin is truly amazing. Other than being a bit abrupt with some attendees it was a superb show. He told a lot of very interesting stories with some wit thrown in here and there. For a while he talked a lot while not performing any of his "tricks" then he began and he did one after another. Most incredible was having a person from the audience come up on stage, sit down and pull cards out of a deck and hold them close to himself. Kreskin then named EVERY card in his hand, all 14 cards! He even told the person holding the cards the order of 3 cards in his hand. I personally know the audience member and he is a local law enforcement member who is above being in on the act. We talked at intermission, he was stunned. Kreskin's show was appearing to near its completion after nearly 2 hours when he announced that it was time for intermission! After a 15 minute break he returned to the stage to continue the show including finding his payment check which was hidden by audience members when he was off stage. A 3 hour show!

We attended his show at the Academy Theatre in Lindsay, ON last night and it was, truly, unforgettable. He is still the ultimate performer and had the audience captivated within seconds of arriving on stage. I appreciated his low-key dialogue and opinions on the current state of affairs of the country. His mental feats were, truly, amazing. The show lasted over 3 hours and his stamina and enthusiasm were outstanding. He even made time, after the show, to come out and sign autographs and have his photo taken with his fans. Yes, I admit, I'm a "fan". I have been since I went to the tapings of his television show "The Amazing World of Kreskin" back in 1971-72. I wish him the best in life and will always be thinking of him........

The show was great, the venue looked great, regardless of the rude man in the audience.

we brought 2 young children with us but i would recommend that you bring a child who is @ least 12 yrs old,since the 2 younger ones did not really understand what was going on and so were not terribly interested in the show,until their mother was hypnotized during the second part my son had a backstage pass,so it was quite enjoyable to him and his wife and older child

We couldn't stop talking about the show when it was over. Kreskin is amazing and he shares some interesting stories and opinions. With that being said, the 3 1/2 hour show could have been over in 2 and I think me, and the entire audience would have preferred a lot less talk from Kreskin and a lot more entertainment. He dragged on with endless stories of his appearances on Johnny Carson and Steve Allen shows. After 2 hours Kreskin took an intermission and we almost left from sheer boredom. Many people felt the same way and did leave. Unfortunately for them, they missed the last hour which was the true highlight of the evening. We laughed out loud for the remainder of the show and enjoyed every minute of it.

My husband and I were very entertained and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour show. I would highly recommend attending one of his performances if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed!! Favorite moment: When my husband was called on and Kreskin knew the number he was thinking. Most amazing was the fact that my husband changed the number in his head at the last minute and Kreskin told him that he did and he got it right!

This performance was a Christmas gift to my 11 year old son. He is a big magic fan and has heard me talk about the Amazing Kreskin before. We traveled over 3 hours to see him, with meet and greet afterward. I expected the personable and charming star that I have seen on TV all these years. Instead, we were treated to a bitter old man who berated the sound crew, kicked out audience members, walked off stage twice, and belittled a volunteer with profanity after the elderly woman accidentally dropped his cards. The show was excruciatingly long (over three hours) which might not be a bad thing if it were packed full of tricks, but instead we were treated to name dropping anecodtes about Hoague Carmichael, Joey Bishop and other stars of yesteryear that my 62 year old mother only has vague recollections from her childhood. All this being said, it was a very memorable event. In the same way that people get enjoyment sticking their head out of the car window to view a traffic accident. I kept thinking that this was all "part of the act". but it wasn't. For a celebrity who boasts of being in show business for over 50 years, the level of unprofessionalism was the most amazing thing about Kreskin. If you think I am exaggerating, I implore you to google "Kreskin & scranton" for the news story.

This performance was very disatisfying. For two hours and fifteen minute, Kreskin did four mentalism effects. He talked the rest of the time-doing mostly name-dropping! After this two hour plus stint, Kreskin had a ten minute intermission. I left and so did many others. He through out two families, while performing and embarrassed a woman helper onstage who clearly had motor skill problems. He sent her back to her seat saying "You won't do." Then he called another lady to help. I thought it was a horrible show! I saw Kreskin some years ago and he was fabulous. He is too cantankerous to perform now.

The first hour of the Amazing Kreskin show at the Scranton Cultural Center was spent listening to Kreskin abuse the airline industry, drop the names of all the celebrities who were overwhelmed by his talents, throw temper tantrums over the lack of available water, paper towel, and quality sound at the center, and oust people who were disrupting his show. He was short-tempered with a woman who had arthritic hands and was unable to perform the act of cutting a deck of cards for him. We were ready to walk out, but he calmed down and was able to save the show by some quality displays of psychic feats and a quite entertaining hypnosis segment. Since I hadn't spent a lot on the tickets, I felt I got my money's worth, and I would recommend the show as long as the price is right.

Kreskin was boring, horribly rude to sound techs and volunteers from audience. Talked too much instead of performing.

After nearly 40 years, I finally got to see one of the icons of my teen years, and he did not disappoint. He is the real deal and a wonderful human being. We waited for his book signing after the show, and my wife and I were genuinely touched by this down to earth legend.
