This is a tricky review. I'm glad I finally had the chance to see Kreskin. For a good part of my life when someone has asked me some impossible to answer question, I've often retorted with the tried and true, "What am I, Kreskin?" I had the man's game at an early age. I love a good mentalist, regardless of name. All that being said, Kreskin was just okay. Not awful, by any means, and worth a look, by all means - but the show doesn't zip along like more modern pizzazz shows do nowadays. I have to say that each little skit really didn't impress me all that much. But I was glad to get to see him. ONE ADDITIONAL NOTE: This is no fault of Kreskin, but DO NOT GET SEATS IN THE SECOND LEVEL AT GOLDEN NUGGET ATLANTIC CITY! They're just chairs they set up and there's no elevation so you can see over the people in front of you. The first row, second level is probably okay, but even those were well cramped IMHO. You've been warned. I'll never get a ticket for up there again.
A Classic show. I have loved Kreskin for years and always enjoy his show. A mix of magic, mentalism and hypnosis. I loved the way he handled those with no respect and were talking or had phones ringing. He knows how to manage an audience. When he saw that I brought my Kreskin game from1972 he was excited and said “you come see me after the show”
Awful terrible walked out towards the end too many stories not enough content
I am glad that I saw him - he is an icon. Would I ever see him again? Not on your life...the show dragged...no surprises...he kept talking about Johnny Carson. How long ago was that? Really... The seats were TERRIBLE. I couldn't see him...it might have changed my review slightly if I had him in sight.
The show was great. He is still the ultimate performer and had the audience captivated within seconds of arriving on stage. All the peoples were amazed by his abilities
Kreskin was awesome! He is the real deal and a wonderful human being. The audience was visibly stunned by his show
Kreskin is a horrible man, very mean and not very amazing at all!! He treated my brother with disrespect in front of the audience and when he tried to apologize for not following Kreskin's instructions because he is hard of hearing, Kreskin yelled at him, insulted his character and forced him to leave the show! I would not recommend anyone to go see him. He's a shyster!!! The marble trick is a fake by the way, Kreskin knew exactly who had the black marble because he practically handed it to my brother before he tried to wow the audience on who had it!! A very upsetting experience!
It's time for Kreskin to give up live audiences! He was cranky from the minute he took the stage and a few people came in just a few minutes late....he actually left the stage until the people got settled in their seats! Then his show was more like a sermon of him preaching about his former appearances on Johnny Carson, Jimmy Fallon, all the books he wrote, etc. It was hours worth of his memoirs peppered in with a few neat card tricks and calling out special dates and names to audience members. He makes it very clear he dislikes modern technology such as cellphones, and he berated and ridiculed several audience members who had unfortunately forgotten to put their phones on silent. He blamed one poor woman for messing up his concentration because she was videotaping...he almost cried and walked out! Overall Kreskin is just a grumpy old man who really shouldn't be performing live.
My husband started the evening being very skeptical of Kreskin's abilities, but WAS amazed, as was I!!!
