A bit slow starting. Once it revs up, it's entertaining. The finale is a bit confusing, there are a number of times when you think the show is over and it goes on - about three times. Interactive portions are fun. Music, like the story line, becomes more engaging as the show goes on. The use of recycled aluminum is very interesting and unique. Overall it was good.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Aluminum show was great for the whole family
by Anonymous on 2/5/11Springfield Symphony Hall - SpringfieldI was pleasantly surprised at the energy and enthusiasm displayed by the dancers in this show. I did not know what to expect when I bought the tickets. The show was funny, active and attention getting. I commend Symphony Hall staff for bringing a great family show to Springfield. Who would think that ordinary aluminum could bring out emotion in human beings?
Rating: 5 out of 5 The Ultimate Recycling Event
by nape on 2/5/11Springfield Symphony Hall - SpringfieldNot knowing what to expect, we had a blast!! Theatrics, dance, set dressing, puppetry, music, acrobatics, ....everything was unique!! Not to mention audience interaction and participation. Most of all, at the close of the show, dancers and robotics guys all came out and had folks (esp. kids) try on the puppets, robots, etc. GO and bring the kids. If you don't have any, grab a kid off the street. You'll be glad you did!!! Excellent value.

Rating: 1 out of 5 The Aluminum Show was terrible!!!
by beckynba on 2/5/11Springfield Symphony Hall - SpringfieldThis was the worst show I've ever seen. The show was marketed as Blue Man Group meets Stomp. It was absolutely NOTHING like that at all. It was so boring I was falling asleep and actually left after 65 minutes.

Rating: 3 out of 5 The aluminum Show
by deuce03 on 2/5/11Springfield Symphony Hall - SpringfieldVery disappointed that I was told my seats were upgraded and I actually had worse seats where their was no audience participation on upper level. All guests on upper balcony felt left out during audience participation parts. Show started off very boring and was hard to sit through. Finally picked up towards the end of the show.
Rating: 1 out of 5 Skip Aluminum
by Lindelein on 1/27/11North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonI was excited for this show, but knew as soon as the first 'aluminum' hoses began writhing on stage that I was not in the right place. Although the performers seemed to be having a good time and did well, the content was shallow and base. I was seriously contemplating my get-away during an intermission, but maybe they knew they'd lose audience members if that happened because they went straight through without an intermission. The show lasted 80 minutes and I was ready to leave after ten.

by SpookyJ7 on 1/24/11North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonTotally a new and different experience. Blending dance, art, music, and illusion. We really enjoyed the show and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys performance type shows. The case met us after the show for a meet and greet and posed for some great pictures.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Aluminum Show was Amazing!
by BusyMomSC on 1/24/11North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonWow -- we didnt really know what to expect, but we were thrilled with this show. The music, the visuals, the fantastic cast of performers -- everything was just amazing. We left out of there with a few pieces of silver mylar .... in awe! The show is loud. My daughter has sensitive hearing, so sitting in the 5th row was a bit loud - but she was thrilled to be there once they started throwing out all of the balloons and aluminum! Her dad gave her his ipod ear-plugs to put in her ears, and she was just fine for the rest of the show! Just something to be mindful of if you are close to the speakers.

by Halloweenboy on 1/24/11North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonI didnt know what to expect with this show, but we were not disapointed! The lighting, choreography and music was wonderful. Very imaginative and interactive. As a bonus, some of the cast came out to the lobby with some of the props when the show was over.
