  • I think I get it...

    by Xdog40 on 3/10/14Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I went to this show with little to no expectations. I know ABB has been doing this beacon run for over a decade, and I never quite got how they could sell out multiple nights. I just didn't know what they were about. I guess I thought I'd encounter a bunch of old hippies and geezers re-living the glory days and jamming out. Well, that was true, but I also encountered about 2 hours of magic. This was an amazing show that I want to experience again. Mountain Jam, here I come!!

  • Phenomenal Performance

by FightMeOff on 3/10/14Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

First, the Beacon is such an incredible theatre. The sound is perfect there. Second, Gregg Allman can still belt it out. Last, you need to see them at some point this year because Derek and Warren will no longer be with them.

  • Every Night

by Squires on 3/10/14Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

The Good Lord willing, I'd be back every night. Fantastic show and setting. Everything was great but best of all was the guitar teamwork. Loved the ABB!

  • opening night

    by tip64 on 3/10/14Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Great show while they still left some in the tank for two week ride. Warren was beating the paint off his axe during some great jams with Derek. From my seat Butch was leading the whole pack, pummeling the drums, amazing. They all looked fresh, great night.

  • Allman Bothers and Steve Winwood- excellent night

by scdeadhead on 9/17/13Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Charlotte - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. Steve Winwood opened playing all old Traffic and Spencer Davis Group stuff. Allman Brothers sounded great as always. All around great show.

  • Allman Brothers Band-Steve Windwood

by Brukdaddy on 9/16/13Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Charlotte - CharlotteRating: 2 out of 5

Steve Windwood was fantastic as always. The Allman Brothers Band was terrible. The band was stiff and out of sync. Greg looked he was on something (not sure what). The audience sat in the dark for 30-45 seconds between each song. Had been one of my favorite bands for over 30 years. I'll just hang on to the memories but will not spent 1 cent on seeing them again.

  • ABB, Nikon @ Jones Beach Theater, Sat, Sep 7, 2013

by Antlive on 9/15/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 5 out of 5

Got there early and did some parking lot tailgating. Got to the seats just in time for the first song. They rocked the house. Great songs the whole way.

  • Always love the Allman Brothers!

Grace Potter opened the show and it is such a pleasure to watch her perform! She is the epitome of a female rock n roll star. Her band has great energy and man, what a voice! The Allman Brothers have always been one of my favorite bands and I see them every time they are in Atlanta. I have senn them in other states and probably hundreds of times. Always great to see the Allman Brothers!

by tetememe on 9/11/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 3 out of 5

tickets state show starts at 7. The Allman Brothers did not start playing until after 9pm. It should have stated that on the tickets.

  • EXcellent show!

by Andrea1111 on 9/11/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 5 out of 5

Who would've thought? This band still rocks with the same sound and intensity as always. They've incorporated today's technology in a way that enhances the show, rather than sells it out, as some older bands have done: 3 big screens , with close ups on the side screens (for those of us in the nose-bleed section), and an amazing technicolor (or should I say HD?) psychedelic, beautiful contortion of images on the big screen behind the band. Definitely worth seeing, and the kinder you are, the more you'll enjoy!

  • They had everyone on their feet!!

My wife and I had one of the best concert experiences of our lives this night! Gregs voice is absolutly amazing ..he sounds like when I first saw the brothers at the Fillmore!! Incredible guitar work ..words don't do this experience any justice!!

  • Da-Brothers at Da-Beach

by poparock on 9/11/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 5 out of 5

The night started with Grace Porter and the Nocturnals, an amazing opening act.....she is the best i've seen in along time. The Allmans were as tight as ever playing for over two hours. Greg was in great voice, and Derek & Wayne were hittin the note.

  • Awesome!!

by cheecha on 9/11/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 5 out of 5

As usual the Brothers never disappoint! Having Susan Tedeschi & Grace Potter come on stage for a song was great!!!

  • YEAH!

Great concert. Kudos to Susan Tedeschi...I could say more but why????????????????????

  • 7 p.m. show....not so much, try 9:15 p.m.

by FromTheHill on 9/11/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 4 out of 5

First I'm going to compliment....Grace Potter and the Nocturnals who were the opening act were amazing. They put on a great show .... now the complaining .... I bought the ticket to see the Allman Brothers who didn't get on stage for over 2 hours after the 7 p.m. "show start time." GP & N ended their set at 8:30 and the AB didn't get on stage for another 45 minutes. This is disrespectful to my time. If they aren't going to perform until after 9 say so. That being said the AB still play great music. Not a great "show" but really good music.

  • great show! they still got it.

by jaa2031 on 9/10/13Nikon at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 5 out of 5

As expected, show was a lot of fun. One long set, many of my favorites were played, including Trouble No More and Dreams. Greg looked and sounded good. warren and derek shredded like mad. Overall great.

Brothers were great played a lot of their hits and they sounded great. The seat location was good but the seats were broken. It felt like you were sliding out of the seat and the seats were loose
