I have enjoyed Alan’s music my whole life -to finally be able to see him and the amazing musicians live was fantastic.
Show was just over an hour long due to the keyboard player getting sick. Paid $380 for a 75 minute long show. Band was good but limited without the keyboards.
Alan sang only a little. 95% of the vocals were other singers, who were not very good. Only 2 songs featured Alan. Also the guitar and drums were very loud. I guess to hid the vocals. They should call it Alan Parsons since he’s hardly involved. The worst part was they played a lot of songs from some new album that no one knew and which weren’t good.
The Maverick Center in Salt Lake needs to improve entry to event. Lines were too long and slow and doors opened too late. Concert started 1/2 hour late and they only played for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Music was fabulous but way to short. I understand Alan had had a tough surgery not to long ago and you could tell he wasnt at 100% so maybe that is why the concert was short. Get well Alan.
Alan Parsons Project didn’t disappoint, I just wished they would have played longer. Brought my bride of 43 years to see her favorite band, she had a great time at the concert
The concert was thoroughly enjoyable, but too short. Mr. Parsons was recovering from a health issue and I was grateful that he stuck it out. The entire band are capable singers, which always makes the sound better. Their beautiful songs combined with stellar musicianship made this event unforgettable.
The doors were to open at 6:30 PM. It was cold outside and doors finally opened just before 7:00. The show also stated late. To add insult to injury, the setlist was cut short by 3 songs. We waited a long time to see Alan Parsons. Between the venue and the band were very dissatisfied and let down..x
Great show, excellent sound, great playlist, world class musicians!
Easy in, great staff, could of had more drink areas open but understand it was a small show. Band was great and would recommend.
Awesome perfect excellent concert thanks so much I happy
Good performance. I wouldn't change a thing except my seating arrangement.
I have been a fan of the Project since the early 80s. I have all of their CDs and they are my number 1 “go to” on my play list. However at the Maverik they had a rough night. The band did not live up to their usual pitch perfect perfection. I am sure this was amplified by their keyboard player going down and having to be rushed to the hospital (wish him well). This seemed to amplify an off night for the group in both sound and song. Unfortunate reminder that at some point, we all get old and loose the magic of youth. Will always be a fan, but this performance will not go down as a quality visit. Hope Elton is better at Dodger Stadium next week!
Always liked their music. But seeing them in person brought my appreciation of his music to a whole different level. I go to a lot of concerts 70s, 80s genre. Alan Parsons Project at the State Theatre in Minneapolis was one my Top 5 favorite. Now a true fan. Have since purchased his CD, One Note Symphony, Live in Tel Aviv. It's like reliving concert over and over. So if you're not one of the lucky ones who can see Alan Parsons Project in person, please treat yourself to that CD. (Almost) like being there.
Never had the chance to see Alan Parsons before. I have been hooked since 1976 when I purchased the album "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" in Yokosuka Japan while serving in the Navy. It was a great show for a first time! Heard a bunch of favorites and some I was not so familiar with.
have lots of video if you want them. outstanding show
I never had the opportunity to see Alan Parsons in concert. When I purchased these tickets I really didn't know what to expect. We enjoy listening to Alan Parsons .. but this concert was AWESOME! 8 fantastic musicians on one stage orchestrated by Alan Parson himself. He kept an entire audience rocking for over two hours, it was amazing to see! Bring them back!
Alan Parsons has a tremendous crew of vocalists and musicians --they sounded great and the crowd loved it
I surprised my wife do our 35 th anniversary. She was surprised and loved the show as I did. Thank you
The whole band was tight .. Looking forward to new album to be released too..
Going to an Alan Parsons Project concert is always a visually and exciting filled sensory experience. With an extensive collection of music to choose from their repetoire, they never fail to add and improvise new variations to the classics. Each musician in the band is highlighted at some point during the concert and the great stage show is shared by all. If they are scheduled to be in your neck of the woods, take the time and effort to go see them, you will not be disappointed!!!!
