    wow, best show ever!

by bmsslc on 3/6/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

I have been to alot of concerts and this show was the best by far. I liked the fact that it was a small venue, very intimate. Alan Parsons and his group sounded amazing, better live, in person than any recording I have heard. I look forward to attending this show again, and for years to come.

    APLP AWESOME

by kartracer1963 on 3/5/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

Alan Parsons tunes are timeless. Singing along with every song, what can be more fun. The talent that Alan plays with is second to none. The musicians and vocals lift every song right off the vinyl and into the your heart. Every time I see him I am wanting more. I cant wait til the next time.

Alan Parson LIve at Boulder Station.

by mosilva on 3/5/12Boulder Station - Las Vegas

As always, a great show. Show started with Sirius and ended with Games People Play. In between an assortment of hits. The highlight for me was the playing of one side of Turn of a Friendly Card. The only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5, was the length of the show. Only played one hour with about a 15 minute encore. Who wouldn't want more from this rock legend? Maybe in the future he would consider a longer show with an intermission. Current lead guitar is the best since Ian Bairnson left the group. Also the sax player was a plus. If you have the opportunity, don't pass this show up.

    Nothing compares

by Edvado on 3/5/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

Nothing compares to seeing THE consummate rock producer up on stage with a group of CRACK musicians performing some of the best songs written in his era. Except for a lead singer who sometimes seemed to forget the songs were more important than his performance, the night was FLAWLESS. The venue (a converted bar in the middle of a gambling casino) was no hindrance.

    Alan Parsons Project Live

by Tunguska on 3/5/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

Sound was great, not a bad seat in the house, the band was spot on. All played/sang with emotion, which enhanced the concert. Only criticism was a few times the soundman didn't turn up the mike volume until after Alan or PJ started singing.

Yet Another Great APP Live Concert

by LVFloydFan on 3/5/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

This is the third or fourth time we have enjoyed APP. Once at the Aladdin and three times here at the Railhead. We are extremely blessed to have the APP team come all the way from SoCal to perform for just the 150 of us here in Vegas. Of all their concerts, this is my favorite. In fact, I put this one right up there with the Pink Floyd Tour of '94. Yes it was that great! I actually had tears rolling down my face as I sang along with the songs. I have always found the APP songs to be deeply spiritual in a way. The playlist from this concert focused on the much earlier APP albums. They did a four song set from Turn of a Friendly Card that was incredible. The guitarist (Alastair) really rocked the place with a couple songs. Todd on saxophone added a nice touch to the songs as well. And we always enjoy PJ! The entire group performed well and sounded great. After the concert we sat in the nearby lounge waiting for Alan Parsons himself to show up for a meet and greet. He actually walked by right in front of us just a few feet when he showed up. My wife got her watch signed by Alan again for a second time. We got to talk to Alistair a bit and Todd a lot. Then as we were heading out about midnight we ran into PJ Olsson and my wife and I talked with him for about 10 minutes. All in all a most memorable event and an excellent evening.

Alan Parsons Awesome Boulder Staff Not So Much

by DDlvnv on 3/5/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

Show rocked. Boulder staff too disruptive. Need to back off. Shined lights in patrons faces, walking and blocking views. Talking loud in the back of the room. Really?

The Show was great, but the sound of the Railhead Theatre is very bad.

Great band and great lead guitarist.

by PBGSB on 3/5/12The Railhead at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

Alan Parson's continues to put on a very pollished show. His lead gutarist., Alastair Greene, must be one the best around, and the singer and saxaphonist are great! Great show; I would go again in a heart beat.

An evening with Alan Parsons was AMAZING

by LAXSSESSDJBYRON on 10/5/10The GRAMMY Museum - Los Angeles

I have been an Alan Parsons all my life. Since I was in my native country of El Salvador, I was first introduced to AP when I heard I Robot. He has created amazing music; being in front of him in person and hearing his stories was absolutely unreal; it was an amazing experience.

Alan Parsons was truly an event!

by Abe55 on 10/3/10The GRAMMY Museum - Los Angeles

The evening with Alan Parsons was a truly wonderful and memorable experience,in such a very intimate and relaxed venue. Scott Goldman was fantastic and made it both entertaining and enlightening. Having my twenty-six year old nehew share the experience was a testimonial of music's transcending power and influence, a very uplifting time. Looking forward to the next event, hopefully soon! P.S. Is there a way to receive text messages on upcoming events or future evenings with ... ?

Alan Parsons was fine...Grammy Museum staff wasn't

by James1666 on 10/1/10The GRAMMY Museum - Los Angeles

Alan Parsons presented a good overview of his recording career, Interviewed by Scott ???. He performed 3 songs live, and David Pack (Ambrosia) performed one song... it was certainly lacking on the live musical performance quantity side. The "meet and greet" was limited to 1 item only for autographs... and it was encouraged that that 1 item should be the discounted $129 DVD set that Parsons was promoting. Mr. Parsons was kind enough to sign 4 items for me (I am an avid collector), much to the chagrin of the Grammy Museum staff... who wanted to restrict it to 1 item only. If I knew that there was such an un-fan friendly 1 item limit, I would not have bothered to go to the event...

Alan Parsons is a living legend!

by IceEyes on 10/1/10The GRAMMY Museum - Los Angeles

Alan Parsons is a genius! He is the master of the lost art of audio engineering and production. I was privileged enough to sit at the first row in front of the stage and listen Alan Parsons' insights and comments about recording, "listening" and producing. We also watched a little excerpt from his new DVD-set on audio recording -- very informative. The venue was great too -- it accomodated a total of 200 people and even the last row was very close to the stage. It felt very intimate. You have to see Alan Parsons if you get the chance. His words are full of wisdom and his songs act as a soundtrack to many people's lives.
