THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT IN CONCERT:

Back in 2008, the Airborne Toxic Event infiltrated the airwaves with their driving rock number "Sometime Around Midnight," generating significant buzz and receiving the seal of approval from none other than U2. Today, the Airborne Toxic Event leave fans awestruck with lush viola melodies and catchy guitar riffs during their fierce live shows. The band's performances wouldn't be complete without signature hits like "Changing" as they treat audiences to a fan-oriented show on their exciting string of 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Los Angeles native Mikel Jollett began penning songs after a series of unfortunate life events occurred in 2006, coincidentally meeting drummer Daren Taylor around the same time and thus forming the Airborne Toxic Event. Through mutual friends and chance encounters, keyboardist Steven Chen, upright bassist Noah Harmon, and viola player Anna Bulbrook were added to the lineup, resulting in the band's signature orchestral rock sound. Their 2008 debut album was met with favorable reviews and spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, followed by extensive touring and regular late-night talk show appearances. 2011's All At Once peaked at No. 5 on the US Rock charts and 2013's Such Hot Blood followed soon after, both receiving acclaim among popular music blogs and magazines. The Airborne Toxic Event packs a serious punch live and are sure to have audiences rocking out at their festival dates in 2014.

    Really awesome (and loud!!!)

by Lilybet on 10/27/22The Walker Theatre - Chattanooga

Omg it was so fun!! I and my stepdad went, I’m a huge fan of like five of their songs and was a little nervous that not knowing the full discography would make it less fun but they just did such an incredible performance, the opener was stunning too, and I could feel the music down to my boots. Definitely a rock concert, definitely amazing. 5/5

    Best hidden gem

by Jeremy on 10/27/22The Walker Theatre - Chattanooga

The Walker theater is the best little hidden gem in Chattanooga. It beats going to Atlanta for a concert. Parking is a breeze and flawless getting through security. Definitely seeing more concerts there.

Loved the show but lighting wasn't great.

by Murphy on 10/22/22The Queen - Wilmington

The lighting on the lead singer seemed to be off. It appeared he was performing in shadows.

    Amazing!

by Leo66 on 10/21/22Newport Music Hall - Columbus

TATE brings so much energy. Well worth the 2-year wait resulting from COVID. I will definitely see them again. Not too many bands left that would make me say that.

I brought my daughter and her friend to see TATE. I had heard a few songs before going, but I have to say I came out a true fan and they are SO GOOD live. Their opening act In The Valley Below was also fantastic! I can't wait to see The Airborne Toxic Event again in the near future!

    The best one yet

by Aline on 5/3/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

and that is out of 8. Besides the talented band members, a few other factors made this a delightful experience. The small venue, the happy attendees, the crew: light and sound were on point as well as the bar staff who took care of my nonalcoholic drinks with glee. Thank you!

    Awesome Night

by Gypsyroad on 5/1/22Ace of Spades - Sacramento

Traveled from Hawaii to Sacramento to see TATE. Third time seeing them and it was the best of the three. Limited seating at Ace Of Spades but I had one. TATE obviously enjoyed putting on the show as well which made the experience even better.👏

Great band. Great show. The TLA is such a cool venue because its small enough to have good views of the acts but big enough to get a true concert feel.

The Airborne Toxic Event NEVER Disappoints!

by FinnKnows on 4/10/22Beacon Theatre - New York

The absolute BEST band no one seems to know. It was a loooong 2 year wait for this concert which was postponed more than once due to Covid, and they did NOT disappoint. They were tight, energetic and put on one of the best concerts I've ever seen (and I've seen THEM a number of times)! An absolutely wonderful show.
