Featuring two of the funniest comedy minds in America, the hard-rocking, hilarious duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass -- better known as Tenacious D -- have delivered thousands of side-splitting laughs through their profanely hysterical songs ever since their inception in 1994. The duo describe themselves (with tongue firmly in cheek) as "The Greatest Band in the World." Tenacious D is currently riding high on the wave of commercial and critical acclaim for their latest album, 2012's "Rise of the Fenix." This comedy-rock masterpiece features hilarious songs, like the title track "Rise of the Fenix," "Low Hanging Fruit," "To Be the Best" and "They F----- Our A----." It was the latest success in a long and varied career for the band, which first gained popularity through their appearances on the David Cross/Bob Odenkirk sketch show, "Mr. Show With Bob and David," in the early 1990s. Their first album, "Tenacious D," featured drum work from the great Dave Grohl and two memorable singles in "Tribute" and "Wonderboy." In between Jack Black's prolific movie career, the band found the time to make their own movie -- "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny" -- and released an accompanying soundtrack to the film in 2006. The self-proclaimed "greatest band in the world" might be inconsistent as far as their album-releasing and touring schedule goes, owing to the A-list movie star status of one of its members, but fans can rest assured that when they come around, they'll deliver some of the funniest, rocking-est tunes to ever be penned.
The comedy before the show was great!! The tenasious d show entertaining by far the best yet I’ve seen this year!! Recommend going and I would definitely go again!!
It was a great concert and a cool venue. Next time I will definitely buy tickets earlier to get closer seats to the stage.

As always tenacious D put on a fantastic show. Opening act David hill was a great touch. Very funny had the whole crowd involved and laughing! First Bank amphitheater is a beautiful venue with friendly staff, traffic was a breeze for an almost sold out show leaving the event was smooth and nicely organized!!
The venue was awesome, tenacious D was awesome, the atmosphere and energy was great and the merchandise was very cool

Not only was Tenacious D incredible live, but the venue was amazing too. My wife and I drove 12 hours just for this show, and it was 100% worth it.
Definitely one of the best concerts I've been to! Jack Black and his team did an amazing job with the entertainment, from the lights and acoustics all the way through with the comedy routine while performing their best songs! The opener Dave Hill was absolutely hilarious and the execution of his material couldn't have been any better! I will definitely be attending future events from Tenacious D!

We had a great time at the Tenacious D concert! Entertaining, great music and great opening act! Jack Black you ROCK! The venue is beautiful, clean, good food, and staff are friendly and very helpful. The only negative is getting out of the venue. If you stay for the final act be prepared to spend an hour getting out. The only other option is leaving early and missing out on the final act.
The concert overall rocked my rocked off I know after that day no one can kill the metal.

Tenacious D never disappoints. They had an awesome and outrageous show. Thought I might be one of the oldest fans there. I was surprised to see a wide variety of fans from young to old.
Tenacious D was amazing, the FirstBank amphitheater is nice once you get in, but getting in is an absolute nightmare. as nice as it is *inside* ill never again attend another show at the Firstbank Amphitheater, In all honesty what were they thinking.
I really didn't know how Tenacious D would make a full length concert. They did not disappoint. Full of metal, rock, and comedy. Absolutely a wonderful experience.
Absolutely loved the quarry setup. The venue was huge, seating was spacious. Great acoustics and the side screens helped me see from the cheap seats. The food and drink options were solid. My only complaint is that it took over an hour to drive in and then out again. We missed the opener, and the drive home was much longer than expected.
The show was a great Tenacious D show, with everything you would expect from one of their concerts. Nothing new, but nothing bad. This was also my first time in the FirstBank auditorium which is an amazing venue, with great views even from the bleachers.
