Tegan and Sara first established themselves as indie rock royalty in the mid-2000s. The Canadian duo released the critically-acclaimed albums So Jealous (2004) and The Con (2007), before evolving to more of a pop sound on 2013’s Heartthrob, which was produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters) and features the synth-pop hit “Closer.” Since their 1999 debut album Under Feet Like Ours, Tegan and Sara have sold over a million albums worldwide, and have played to sold-out arenas with artists like The Killers and Katy Perry. The twin sisters are also longtime activists, and are dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls through the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which they established in 2016. Their 2019 memoir High School was a New York Times best-seller, and was adapted into a television series of the same name. They released their 10th studio album Crybaby in 2022.

Another great show by Tegan and Sara. I love it! Funny and talented. I can't wait for them to come back to California.
I went to see Tegan and Sara live for the first time and I loved it so much, that I already bought tickets to go see them in Oakland next year. Not only their music is amazing, but they are so down to earth and funny that they make the show a very entertaining one. I love the fact that they talk about random things between songs... it's just hilarious :) Can't wait until March 2010!!!
these girls are great.. the new songs the old songs, the banter.. its all great.. I wish they could play every week!
it was fanfreakintastic! :) these girls are ammmaaaazzing and soooo super sweet! <3 them!
The show and their new music was amazing. I'm really gald that they played almost all of their songs from their upcoming album. Great show...
The theater was beautiful, and impressive. But that was nothing compared the the show. The energy in the room was electric. Tegan and Sara's Banter on stage is as memorable as there songs. They have an amazing new sound, if you have a chance to see them go. However, if your not already a fan of the music, i would suggest getting the album first, just to be sure you will love the show. They sound just as good live as they do on the album. As typical with TnS a few mistakes happen, but that's human nature, and that's why fans love them.
They played EVERY song from their new album that wasn't even available yet. They also played favorites from previous albums. They speak to the crowd between songs and it makes one feel like it's not just another city to them. The girls are funny and very personable. It was a great time.
To start it off, the venue was to die for. It was truly divine. I've always wanted to see inside it, and I finally got my chance to. As for the performance, it was spectacular. I couldn't have asked for a much better show. :)
This show was amazing! They started out strong with The Con, played a few old songs, then dove right into the new album. Eventhough most of the crowd wasn't familiar with Sainthood, the energy was still great. Especially when they sang a few more old songs before they closed out with Call It Off. Wish they hadn't decided to do their second show on a Monday, or I would have gone to both!
Tegan and Sara put on an outstanding performance. My only issue was with the Orpheum Theatre and the seating. Their seats are so close that if you're over 5'5" you'll be uncomfortable the entire time.
Tegan and Sara put on an AMAZING live show. I really loved that they talked between songs and expressed their personalities throughout the show. They are both super funny. The Orpheum Theatre is beautiful. Overall, this was a PERFECT show. I sat in the very back, top row on the balcony and still had a great view.
I thought that Tegan and Sara put on an AMAZING show! I love that they interact so much with their fans and are so appreciative of them. They sound awesome as well. I cant wait to see them again!
Tegan and Sara were absolutely amazing! They came on with total energy and enthusiasm and as always, really got the crowd into the show. The set was all-inclusive, as they played EVERY song off Sainthood and some of their previous classics. Show lighting and sound were amazing...what a pleasure to see them! If you're a Tegan and Sara fan but have not seem them live, YOU MUST GO TO ONE OF THEIR LIVE PERFORMANCES!
The show was great! I was on my feet the whole time I was there. I loved the fact tegan and sara played their whole new album. The new album sounds grrrrrrreat! I LOVE TEGAN AND SARA!!!!
Tegan and Sara gave a beautilful performace along with a lot of good humor, You really felt as if you were at home with friends laughing and signing.
They played the whole new record which was unexpected for me. Anyway, I think Sainthood will be BEYOND AWESOME! Some of the songs really have the moment, even though it's the first time I hear it. You know, kind of the moment that you forget to breath. Overall, the concert was really good. Although they were a little less chatty than I thought they would be. But both of them have genius sense of humor as you know.
So after wanting to see them live for the longest time, I finally saw Tegan and Sara, and they were sooo good. Their music is amazing and their new cd is awesome. And they keep you laughing by cracking jokes. Definitely worth it.
I've been to a few concerts in my life and I don't know if any concert will ever be as good as this show was. Tegan and Sara were electrifying and rocked the audience unlike any other. They played most of their new songs and a few of their old hits. I wish they would have played more older material but the new album sounds fantastic live. I will definitely see them again (already bought tickets to their San Diego show) and would recommend them to anyone with an interest in Indie or pop music. I can't wait to hear what they come up with next. Some of their songs were so amazing you could see a real emotional reaction from the crowd. I know they certainly affected me. They were perfect.
This show changed the way I thought about things. The venue was great, Laura Veirs (the opening act) was wonderful and I had a blast listening to her, Tegan and Sara blew me away, the did such a great job. I'm so glad I didn't miss this event, it was awesome!
Tegan and Sara are amazing LIVE! They have a great stage presence and can really get a crowd going! Not only is the music great but they also are a comedy act so funny and its not just a show where you're sitting and watching but they talk to you and make you feel comfortable! PLUS they're NEW CD is awesome they played all the new stuff! Will definitely go again whenever they're in LA! It was really special for me because it was my nineteenth bday and they played nineteen (of course since its a classic) but still it was special :)
