The Bellwether is a new venue, upon walking in I was impressed with the lobby set up, I continued into the main room and it also looked very clean and fresh. I heard they had good food so I went upstairs to The Virginian. The resturant had plenty of comfortable seating and no line. I did think it was weird you had to order food at the bar, but you could not get alcohol from the same guy you ordered food from, but since there was no line I did not mind ordering from two seperate people. My daughter and I sat down and were both freezing. Normally I run very warm, so I appreciate a venue that has air conditioning, but they really need to adjust the setting, it was so cold. I watched my food come out and sit on the bar for about 10 minutes before my buzzer started buzzing, so by the time I actually got to eat my food it was cold, colder than room tempature. I ordered the Vegan Hot Dog and they only condiment availble was Tapatio. I would suggest getting Mustard. The sound was great. I personally don't mind general admissions venues, but earlier that week my daughter and I had gone to shows at The Hollywood Bowl, The Orpheum, and The Novo, which all had comfortable seating so she was annoyed with standing the whole time. I guess there is not much that can be done about that now, but it would be nice if you mabye put up some tables and chairs in the back for those who have fears of pit areas and being surrounded by tons of people. I get it, its a show, its gonna be packed, but I could tell she felt uncomfortable there. The bands were great, catching a ride share home was super easy. The merch line went quickly. I would pobably go back, but only with people who I know like standing room only venues, unfortunately for me, many of my friends will only go to places that have seating.
