About

Tegan and Sara first established themselves as indie rock royalty in the mid-2000s. The Canadian duo released the critically-acclaimed albums So Jealous (2004) and The Con (2007), before evolving to more of a pop sound on 2013’s Heartthrob, which was produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters) and features the synth-pop hit “Closer.” Since their 1999 debut album Under Feet Like Ours, Tegan and Sara have sold over a million albums worldwide, and have played to sold-out arenas with artists like The Killers and Katy Perry. The twin sisters are also longtime activists, and are dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls through the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which they established in 2016. Their 2019 memoir High School was a New York Times best-seller, and was adapted into a television series of the same name. They released their 10th studio album Crybaby in 2022.

    Hey Sara!

    by TNS FAN on 8/22/23

I've lost count of how many times we've seen Tegan and Sara. We travel all cover Cali when they come to the West Coast. They were amazing, like always, and full of energy. The audience reciprocated that energy, shaking the venues signing and dancing along. VIP Soundcheck is a must if it's offered.

Overall good show, but some improvements could be made

    by Cold boy on 8/17/23

The Bellwether is a new venue, upon walking in I was impressed with the lobby set up, I continued into the main room and it also looked very clean and fresh. I heard they had good food so I went upstairs to The Virginian. The resturant had plenty of comfortable seating and no line. I did think it was weird you had to order food at the bar, but you could not get alcohol from the same guy you ordered food from, but since there was no line I did not mind ordering from two seperate people. My daughter and I sat down and were both freezing. Normally I run very warm, so I appreciate a venue that has air conditioning, but they really need to adjust the setting, it was so cold. I watched my food come out and sit on the bar for about 10 minutes before my buzzer started buzzing, so by the time I actually got to eat my food it was cold, colder than room tempature. I ordered the Vegan Hot Dog and they only condiment availble was Tapatio. I would suggest getting Mustard. The sound was great. I personally don't mind general admissions venues, but earlier that week my daughter and I had gone to shows at The Hollywood Bowl, The Orpheum, and The Novo, which all had comfortable seating so she was annoyed with standing the whole time. I guess there is not much that can be done about that now, but it would be nice if you mabye put up some tables and chairs in the back for those who have fears of pit areas and being surrounded by tons of people. I get it, its a show, its gonna be packed, but I could tell she felt uncomfortable there. The bands were great, catching a ride share home was super easy. The merch line went quickly. I would pobably go back, but only with people who I know like standing room only venues, unfortunately for me, many of my friends will only go to places that have seating.

    Great as Always

    by Ashley O on 8/17/23

Tegan and Sara were great as usual. In addition to songs off their latest album, I love that they played acoustic versions of older songs like My Number. They were also really funny. A+ experience.

    Great venue great show

    by Vlo on 8/17/23

The venue was great small enough to feel intimate. The show was high energy and the ladies are always funny. I’ve seen the band many time and they still find away to keep shows interesting. Despite the larger turn out there was never a line at the bar or bathroom. There was a line for merch at the end of the show.

A great T and S show per usual!

    by Kari on 8/3/23

The opener did not match the audience. It was not a great opener for Tegan and Sara. Disappointing. BUT Tegan and Sara never disappoint! They played their best hits and some great new ones. The band is fantastic! I personally love their banter between songs. A++ concert

by Alison on 6/25/23The Pageant - St Louis

They sounded great and we got to hear a few funny stories this time! They played at least a few songs from every album, just a wonderful concert. Backing band gave a very full sound. Opening act Carlie Hanson was outstanding!

    Amazing!!

by BToews on 6/18/23The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Dragonette was an awesome opener, I new more of her songs than I realized! Tegan and Sara were so amazing! I went with my twin sister and we had a great night. I am a huge fan of their music! And the representation they bring to the music industry is awesome. I’m not a big concert goer but I would go a thousand times over. The atmosphere was awesome, everybody was so excited to be there, and you could tell they were all big fans. We had an awesome time, 10/10 would recommend!

by Mimi on 6/17/23L'Olympia - Montreal

I’ve been a fan of Tegan and Sara since I was a child so seeing them live was a bucket list experience, and they didn’t disappoint! Great show and set list. They sound exactly the same live which made it a great concert experience. The opening act, Dragonette, was also great! Lovely to hear some of her old and new music.

by Kervin on 11/24/22The Fillmore - San Francisco

Wonderful mostly fan friendly night of new and favorite songs, stage display of neon ice creams and a sharp repertoire of stories and banter between the group. SO FUN

    The good go here

by toxic025 on 11/16/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

First time seeing Tegan and Sara also first time attending a show at the HoB Anaheim and it was a blast. Parking was easy to find due to the structure and since it was Sunday the place wasn't so busy but many of the shops were closed early. The show started on time and it went smoothly throughout the night. HoB Anaheim maybe small but it's immediate and no matter where you are you have a great view (if you're not too short.)

Great performance, great sound. Lines moved fast. Line to bar in the concert hall was very short.

Still great after all these years

by IG122 on 11/16/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I enjoyed the flow of the show. The show consisted of a mix of old & new material (the hits, of course), so there’s definitely something for every type of fan. I’d go again.
