Ted was awesome! Two solid hours of his best and some new stuff. No one chats up an audience like he does. Makes you proud to be an American!

  • Uncle Ted Rocks The Wildhorse Saloon !!!

by scrollwood on 7/17/10Wildhorse Saloon - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The Nuge Still Kicks Ass !!! Tremendous Show. Saw him for the first time in 1978. This show in 2010 was just as good and in some ways much better. Would go again tomorrow if I could. About the 3rd or 4th song into the show --------Derek St. Holmes strolls on stage then plays & sings the rest of the night, Damn he can still blow, he still hits all the high notes with no problem !!!!! With Ted's playing and Derek's singing It sounded just like old times. More than 2 hours of The Motor City Madman rocking the place. Oh By the way STRANGLEHOLD WAS GREAT followed by The Great White Buffalo for an encore For my son's 18th birthday I surprised him with a Meet & Greet before the show with Ted. A wonderful treat for both of us. Not the typical quick picture most artist offer, we kicked back on a sofa & talked for about 45 minutes, plus he also had many surprise gifts all laid out & waiting for us. His meet & greet is more than worth the price if you ever get the chance DO IT !!!! You won't be sorry. If Ted's playing anywhere near you GO get some tickets~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • Ted is the Man!

by Altarboy on 7/15/10Wildhorse Saloon - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was my 14 year old son's first real concert and Uncle Ted rocked his world. And his band was hard and tight and looked like they were happy to be there. It was really cool that he brought out Derick St Holmes. What a great show.

  • Nugent Rocked the Horses at Wildhorse!!!!!!

Uncle Ted...as he likes to be called..was AWESOME!

  • Uncle Ted is still the man!

by FanSlowhand on 7/15/10Wildhorse Saloon - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The Wild Horse was packed waiting for a great show!! Opener, Val Halla showed us that she can rock with the best; her guitarist is outstanding! After a short 'equipment change' break, we saw what a great simple set Ted was using. Everything was just right - huge cabinets and amps, all with the familiar 'Ted Nugent' logo. And from the first note through the "Great White Buffalo" encore, Ted never slowed down! At 61 he's still on top of his game, growling out his songs and wailing on the guitars!

Uncle Ted rocked the house! My ears are still ringing. It was an added bonus to have new Nashvillian Derek St Holmes join the Motor City Madman on stage for the second half of the show to jam through the hits that put them on the map. Stranglehold sounded as sharp and fresh as ever. I'll never get tired of those intro licks!

  • Ted Still Rocks with the Best of 'Em!

  • Uncle Ted was on FIRE!!!!

by TedFan on 7/15/10Wildhorse Saloon - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time inside the Wildhorse, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Uncle Ted was just SMOKIN'!!!! Opened with "Star Spangled Banner" played on his Les Paul painted like the U.S. flag, then ripped into "Wango Tango/You really got me"...played a lot of his old hits and some new stuff too, including "Soul Man". Toward the end, his original lead Singer, Derek St. Holmes joined him onstage playing several of the classic Nugent songs. It was great to see them onstage together again!!!! For a guy who is 62 years old, Nugent was ripping it up like back in the 80's! I also noticed he is doing great after knee replacement, moving around the stage a lot, (though not jumping off amps these days...LOL!!!) All said, it was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time!!! As several people said after the show, "We're not going to see this kind of music much longer". GREAT CLASSIC NUGE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always loved "Uncle Ted" but at this point I wont ever go see him again. When I found out we couldnt take our cameras into the event due to "artist request" I was pissed. Most artists in this day and age know you want to take photos with a flashless camera. They threw out one guy for using an iphone near the stage. oh well.. so sad! btw- Ted will always be a top notch guitarist but would it really hurt him to get a rhythm guitarist again. it fills out the sound so much better when he goes to solo, instead of him riding on the bass player's lines. ugh!

  • Ted rocked the house!!!!

The Show was awesome!! Can't wait for Uncle Ted to come to the peak again next year!!!!!!!

  • Thank You Uncle Ted

by RCtrainalbans47 on 7/12/10House of Blues Myrtle Beach - Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Bottom line, Uncle Ted rocked the House of Blues. Thank you Uncle Ted for taking me back to my younger days rocking to all your hits and experiencing it with my wife and kids. Nothing but love songs all night long! His work with the NRA and Wounded Warriors makes Uncle Ted a Great American.

  • Ted was ON tonight!!

by Malbec1025 on 7/12/10House of Blues Myrtle Beach - Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Ted's ability to totally entertain an audience always amazes me. It was a mellow crowd--at first--but Ted's humorously laced politics and good timing, make for a musically entertaining as well as comedic performance. The House of Blues is an excellent venue. Just the right size to see from almost anywhere you are...it's just my size place...and you can feel comfy if you concert alone... He rocked. I was entranced and was avidly searching Ted's site for future dates...when the whitetail aren't prancing...

  • Uncle ted kicked some more ass!!

  • TED & Pat Neverbetter

by NRStophel on 7/3/10Ruth Eckerd Hall - ClearwaterRating: 5 out of 5

This has been one of the best, if not the best concert I have ever attended. Pat came out with his great songs and mixed it up a bit with some blues and jamed to a packed out crowd. He was personable with the audience and encouraged fans to meet him out in the lobby after the show. Great. / Ted however, blew me away when he hit the stage. He started the set with the Star Spangled Banner. This was just as good as the Hendrix version. From there on it was high energy for 2 hours. Ted introduced his band of 3 members including himself. He asked how the audio was and when I did reflect on it, it was as clear and crisp as ever. No feedback or problems on the set. He is a real professional. From the quality of the music and the great songs he has done in the past, this concert came to a new and refreshing begining. I was taken back by the new songs that he has done, the way he presented his show, and his overall confidence that he was the man. He honored the veterans numerous times and also took a moment of silence for the slain local police officers that lost their lives. Yes their was a drum solo. His bass player also sang and did a fine job. Pat came out and joined Ted for some songs. The two worked well together. For his oncore, Ted came out in a Indian headress. Brought out his bow and shot a flaming arrow into a gutiar. What more could you ask for. Great show. I would recomend anyone to see it.

  • Motor City Madness in South Florida

by Blurrrr on 7/2/10Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

From the first "No shit" , I knew we were in for a treat. Ted did not disappoint! His guitar playing was spot on and the band was tight. Uncle Ted has not really aged like the bulk of the fans who came to see him, and in his matter of fact way, let us know it. I was impressed to see quite a few "young people" in the crowd, including a dad with his teenage daughter and her friend...and they knew the music, rocking right along with the rest of us for Wango Tango and Hey Baby. And how clever that the venue's address was "Nugent Ave."

  • Ted was unbelievable

by leonalee on 7/2/10Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

My husband has been going to Ted since he was a teen. I love Ted and his music but I am not really a concert person. My husband talked me into going with him this time and we brought along our teenagers who also love Ted. We had an overall wonderfull family night. My son said that this concert was thus far the best he had ever scene.

  • by Anonymous on 7/2/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

Great show , loved the stage set-up. The house needed more seats or bar stools
