  • Ted brought it!

    by TexasAg06 on 7/19/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

So I was a little hesitant at first, as this was my first Nugent experience. Wow...was I blown away. Ted took the stage at 10:30pm and for the next 2 hours he brought his love for rock, and America to the packed house at Billy Bob's. He opened with the National Anthem, and on several occasions recognized service men/women that he personally invited to the show. He played all of the classics(Stranglehold, Cat Scratch Fever, etc.) and even some new songs. He was sure everybody in the crowd understood where he stood politically, and everybody in the audience agreed with raised fists. He said to never forget "We the people." After seeing the show, I will definitely be going back next time he is in town. Rock hard Uncle Ted!

  • Its Uncle Ted....'nuff said

The show was great. Everything that a Ted Nugent concert should be! My only complaint would be that, even after two hours i wasnt ready for the show to end!

  • Ted still ROCKS!!!

For being a man in his 60's, you sure wouldn't know it. The "Nuge" put on a GREAT show on Saturday night at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth! The house was pretty much packed. The music was, as usual, great. The quality of the sound for the most part was great. Occasionally some of Ted's "personal commentary" could not be heard (we were in the reserved seating, about half way back from the stage). The band was very "tight", it was obvious that they've been playing together awhile. Ted Played for about 2 hours (including an encore of "The Great White Buffalo"). I am a service disabled, retired military Veteran and there were comments made by Mr. Nugent that made my heart swell up with pride. He is a true American, while also a musician, who is a GREAT activist in his own way, through his music and interesting commentary throughout the show. I would highly recommend ANYONE go see him. He also paid tribute to the Father of rock and roll, the blues...by playing a song by Stevie Ray Vaughn and one by one of the old bluesmen of "back in the day" (not sure who, but someone along the lines of Howlin' Wolf or Muddy Waters). He made mention of all the great blues guitarists that influenced him in his musical career, such as the great SRV, B.B. King, etc. If you want to go see a great show, great audience interaction, and an American Rock and Roll Legend, go see Ted Nugent. You will be glad you spent the money. Which was reasonably priced at $40 (For RESERVED SEATING!!!), $20 for regular admission. Try and pay that for a ticket at other shows and get the same quality of entertainment!

  • Show was great!!!

    by Thesnake08 on 7/19/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 3 out of 5

I really enjoyed the music and the show. Ted Nugent was great. The only thing that I did not like about the evening was the venue. I go to a lot and I do mean A LOT of concerts. I think if he would have played at The Palladium Ballroom or Verizon the show would have been so much better. I did not enjoy the venue the seating was horrible and I would not recommend a concert to anyone I know at this venue. Billy Bob's is a neat experience to go in and look around and play but not for a concert. Mr. Nugent if you come back please play at The Palladium or Verizon.

  • Ted Nugent Continues to be a Legend!

    by nicunurse on 7/19/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Ted Nugent's music and style is just as fantastic, if not better, as it was years and years ago. He continues to have a ton of energy and excitement to give to his fans during his shows. At some point during his concerts, everyone WILL be standing on their feet, clapping their hands. We have taken our teenagers in the past to see him, and they were mad that they did not get to go and see him this time around, he puts on such a great show. I am already looking forward to the next time he is in DFW.

  • Ted ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

    by Tex1979 on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I have seen Ted Nugent live. Having grew up on his music, I have always been a fan of his guitar licks and personality. He brought the house down! I am just thirty years young and dig classic rock and this will be on the top of my list for concert memory. I think it was the best one I have seen.

It was a great show! Ted is an awesome guitar player who can still rock. The former Motor City Madman is a legend!

  • Ted, 1979 till 7-17-2010

    by Texashaunter on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

Saw Brother Ted in 1979 at the original Texas Jamm, on his own in The Dallas Convention Center, Again at Starplex, at Reunion opening for KISS, and yesterday at Billy Bob's Texas. I have enjoyed him every time and Ted has worked hard to please. I agree with his political views and enjoyed his rebel rousing during his show. my friend and myself are of the 70's generation and talked positively about the show. Even with being WOWED by Ted, we did both agree hos long ad lib solos were way indulgent to us. Also, we had hoped for more of his music and less covers, even done well, they are best remember by the original artist. Ted, Thanks for coming and raising Billy Bos's roof, and i'm ready to see you again, SOON!

  • The Nuge

    by Gatlinberg on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome! Theodore did not disappoint. My wife and I had just lost our kitty the day prior so seeing the show was a good diversion. We were both emotional during "Cat Scratch Fever". So in a nutshell, you could say that Uncle Ted was "Just what the doctor ordered!"

  • Ted still can deliver the goods

    by TooHotTooHandle on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Ted is still the showman and he loves to rock out Billy Bob's. Third time we have seen him here and he can still deliver the goods and rock out the crowd. Plays all of your favorite songs.

    by haiheajdkcnldk on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

Ted has such a large playlist of rockin tunes it's hard for him not to have a great show. His playing was excellent. The show started promptly at 10:30 and lasted until about 12:30. 2 solid hours of rockin. I hope everyone else had as great a time as I did.

  • Wooh

    by TexasRocker1 on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

You have to wonder about Ted Nugent playing at Billy Bob's, but this was fantastic. I had never seen Ted before so this was a real treat. How he keeps up that level of guitar playing is a mystery. Must be all the hunting and grilling outdoors!

  • Gotta love the Nuge!

    by centinel on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Ted Nugent and I wish that I didn't wait so long. He is a master showman who knows his audience and appreciates them fully. I took my wife, who normally is not into this kind of music, and she loved the show. I loved the screaming guitar licks and the political zingers. He unappologetically assaults liberals and the PC culture in general. Of course it is really about the music and his guitar skills are still outstanding. Great show!

  • Ted Nugent

    by LoneStar01 on 7/18/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

The show was a good time and Uncle Ted can still play a mean guitar. Outside of one fat guy who was a friend of the production crew standing in our line of sight most of the night when we had paid, reserved tickets, it was a good show.

  • by Anonymous on 7/17/10Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 4 out of 5

was on time with the start. The man for being 62 years old is amazing. The sound quality could have been improved on, that would be the only matter. played for 2 hours and 10 mins Well worth the money..
