    Fun-ish

by Nickname on 2/27/24Music Farm - Charleston

We had fun, but I’ve been to 2 Taylor Swift events at the Music Farm and this one wasn’t great unfortunately. It was pretty lackluster just being 2 people with a playlist on a laptop. The female “DJ” kept singing and while she has a gorgeous voice it was a little odd. Towards the end of the night they played several slow songs and the crowd definitely died and over half left. I think it has potential and we still had fun, but maybe put in a bit more effort. Also, bring back the themed drinks, those were so fun!

    Absolutely wonderstruck

by Shemps on 2/5/24Rose Music Hall - Columbia

Really fun time, great group, awesome song choices. The transitions were handled well. I went alone and quickly befriended about 8 other swifties.

    Taylor Dance Party (Allie’s Version)

by Allie on 2/5/24Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

Literally the most fun night dancing and singing with my best friends and a bunch of other swifties! We were huge fans of the DJ too, he was very interactive and made it such a great time.

    Taylor’s version

by Dee on 12/11/23State Theatre - Portland

I was somewhat disappointed in this event I was expecting a back screen with Taylor Swift and her concert playing in the background but instead all it was was fog and colored lights with an over zealous female Dj and a lot of her most popular songs were not even played. I also felt that a 9 PM start time was very late, especially since this type of event is geared more toward younger girls and preteen

    Not Quite a Dance Party

by Lindsay on 11/28/23House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

It’s always a good time to get together with Swifties, however, this event felt like a playlist on shuffle, except many of the songs were cut off - SO MANY SKIPPED BRIDGES. I’ve come across many DJs doing awesome Taylor Swift mash-ups online, and I’ve been to another party where I noticed the DJ played songs through, but altered the BPM to make it more danceable. I didn’t notice this particular event having any of that. I left after about 90 min, and I probably wouldn’t attend this event again unless I hear about things changing

    Oh well.

by Angie on 11/28/23House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

I was very excited for this event but i think the organizers are just money hungry and did this show because they know swifties would spent their money(?) The DJ played the most popular songs and cut the best parts of the songs… like the very well know fan loved bridges of songs! The audience kept booing because of that…

Not a good Taylor Swift dj

by Ignacio on 11/28/23House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

I have been going to several Taylor Swift nights. Unfortunately this was disappointing. Dj didn’t connect with audience and always cut the good songs fast. She didn’t know what to play next.

Named Taylor's Version but doesn't play Taylor's Version

    by Komodo Dragon on 9/29/23

I know alot of these Taylor Swift events are popping up now due to her popularity, so its difficult to weed out which ones are good and which are bad without going. This one is average. Tbh, if you go on stage and play Taylor Swift songs all night long, you are doing the bare minimum. As far as DJing skills are concerned, there weren't none. It was all fade in and fade out. The host was the only one that made the event kinda fun. This promoter is suffering from the same thing all the others are suffering from. Too many events, not enough dedicated staff to run these events. Because of that, they use alot of local "DJs"and hosts to run these events. These local DJs don't know anything about Taylor Swift. They think they can go around all thesee cities and play Shake It Off and All Too Well 10 Minute Version and think we'll be satisfied. Play more deep-cuts, not just the singles. Taylor Swift fans are one of the smartest in the music industry. And with her ongoing battle with Scooter Braun and trying to re-gain her original masters, she releases these Taylor's Version (TV) tracks. With your event being called "Taylor's Version,"I would expect all your tracks used to be TV tracks. If you don't use them when available, your event score starts going down. It's not very hard to look up TV tracks on your DJ software (rekordbox or serato), but more disappointed when your name is literally "TAYLOR'S VERSION". Do better.

    SO MUCH FUN!

by Hallie on 9/18/23The Depot - Salt Lake City

This was SOOO fun! So much energy from the crowd and the DJ! There were endless songs and even the slower songs were danced to. They took requests (even ones we screamed) I would 100% recommend:)

    Music? Great. DJs? Terrible.

by Swiftie By Choice on 9/18/23The Depot - Salt Lake City

The music is obviously great. It’s Taylor Swift. The DJs on the other hand, had no idea how to DJ. There were no transitions between songs, just turn down the volume on one song at a random point and then turn up the volume on the next song. It really killed the vibe between songs each time. They didn’t know how to make them flow from one to the other to keep the best going. This could have been great, but the DJs ruined it for me.
