The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is an annual postseason college football game in Jacksonville, Florida. First held on January 1, 1946 at Jacksonville’s Fairfield Stadium, later renamed Gator Bowl Stadium, the event was played on the same field until 1993, when its current home at EverBank Stadium was built on the site and returned in 1995. Although the Gator Bowl began as a showcase for at least one member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the game’s opponents have more recently featured opponents from either the SEC, Big Ten and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Across 80 editions of the Gator Bowl, memorable moments include the Pittsburgh Panthers’ 37-9 upset over the South Carolina Gamecocks in 1980 and Florida State coach Bobby Bowden’s last game in 2010. Seats were just what I expected. Good transportation to the venue from off site vendor. Game was exciting and weather was decent. All in all very satisfied.
We had a great time at the TaxSlayer bowl! The stadium was very nice and clean. Great food options were available and all of the staff was very friendly. Great experience overall!

It was everything and then some. We had a great family weekend in Jacksonville. From the Beaches to CattyShack, Jacksonville Zoo (Amazing) to the Game.. All around Great weekend
The event was nice and well organized. However, the women at will call stole our touchdown party tickets and we almost could not get in for something we paid 200 dollars to attend. luckily, Gator Bowl ushers resolved the issue and reissued passes so we could enjoy the event we paid for.

First Class Event! Great Stadium and food. Scoreboards were large and easy to see.
The Taxslayer/Gator was even better than I expected. The event was so well organized. Seating was great, and traffic problems were nonexistent. Food court was good, and fans from both teams were amazingly cooperative and friendly. Pep rally and parade of bands at Jacksonville Landing was terrific. Enjoyed the whole event from start to finish!
As an Iowa fan attending this event. The football was worse then the event but not the same as other venues
Attending the TaxSlayer Bowl was an awesome experience!
This is a first class facility and bowl game. However, we have two issues to offer future fans. 1. Changing the name from the time honored "Gator" Bowl to the Taxslayer Bowl is mortifying. 2. Hot pretzels are not available, and overall food service is sketchy.
City, not so much. Based on what Jacksonville did with its public transportation you'd have never known there was a major event. They reduced the number of locations for shuttles to the stadium (2), closed the monorail at 7:00 (the game wasn't over till after that time), posted incorrect information on their web site and staffed the JTA phones with people who were unaware of the changes (I was sent to a stop where the shuttle wasn't picking up). All in all, the JTA dropped the ball. Service at the stadium was significantly better and the game was great.

Terrific bowl game at Everbank stadium in Jacksonville. The stadium inside is great. The outside could use some modernizing but the jumbotrons were outstanding. Not a bad seat in the house. Really enjoyed it

The city of Jacksonville is amazing, and this coming from a seasoned world traveler. The Taxslayer Bowl (Gator Bowl) showed real class in its setup, arrangement, and execution of this College Football Bowl event. I can't think of anything that could have been done better, short of giving us free tickets. Top notch performance
Truly enjoyed the Taxslayer Bowl and all the events surrounding. We purchased a parking pass with our tickets, and that proved to be a good decision.

The game was so much fun! The weather was perfect. I enjoyed the tailgating experience offered as well.
