The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is an annual postseason college football game in Jacksonville, Florida. First held on January 1, 1946 at Jacksonville’s Fairfield Stadium, later renamed Gator Bowl Stadium, the event was played on the same field until 1993, when its current home at EverBank Stadium was built on the site and returned in 1995. Although the Gator Bowl began as a showcase for at least one member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the game’s opponents have more recently featured opponents from either the SEC, Big Ten and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Across 80 editions of the Gator Bowl, memorable moments include the Pittsburgh Panthers’ 37-9 upset over the South Carolina Gamecocks in 1980 and Florida State coach Bobby Bowden’s last game in 2010. Great game, fun time. Only issue was stadium concourse getting cramped rather easily. Get your concessions early or stand in line through much of the action. Would also recommend easy access to stadium via reserved parking at Tailgaters lot, only two blocks away.

My ticket for the 2015 Tax Slayer Bowl (former Gator Bowl) at Everbank Field was perfect! On The 50 yard line,Section 209 in the West Club section. The price was very very reasonable for a bowl game in an awesome seat! It arrived well ahead of time of my departure for Jacksonville.
The food was pretty good and there was free beer but there was no mixed drinks as advertised, very disappointed. Overall, the entertainment was good, food good, beer good. I do recommend this type of event.

Really enjoyed our trip to the TaxSlayer Bowl. We had great seats but I don't think there are any bad seats. The jumbotrons added to the experience.

Jacksonville was a great city to watch a bowl game. The stadium was the most poorly managed facility of its type I have ever seen. The concessions ran out of popcorn buckets. The souvenir cups in the high priced ticket area were labeled for the Jacksonville Jaguars and NOT the bowl game. The tickets don't tell you which gate you should enter. Are you kidding me?
Excellent game!!! Tennessee completely dominated Iowa. It wasn't even close.

This was my first time at Everbank. It was easier to get to than I expected. Parking was a bit hairy, but was able to park close. The stadium seats are all good views, and the Jumbotrons are amazing! Of course, the Taxslayer Bowl was great.
Park lot H could have been done allot better ie rows to close together. The event was very unforgettable. My seat was so close to the action that I almost forgot to watch the field and not the jumbo tron..
.this event was terrible...one of the events was thro_ing a ball onto a trash can. Beer tent was not open, entertainment was ajoke. Vendors trying to sell inferior products.
The Everbank stadium is awesome. The seats for the game were on the opposing team's side but were very good. We sat in the middle of the first section at the 50 yard line. I am not a big football fan but I had so much fun.
We had a GREAT time. The folks at the TaxSlayer went out of their way to put on a great show. To the folks that play there next year, I suggest getting tickets to the Touchdown Party. Good food and drink, and easy into the stadium from there.
It sucks to have been cheering for my team and having rude Tennessee fans throwing stuff at my backs and telling me to sit down and booing my team when they did nothing wrong. The fans next to me were very nice but the ones behind me ruined it for me.
