The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is an annual postseason college football game in Jacksonville, Florida. First held on January 1, 1946 at Jacksonville’s Fairfield Stadium, later renamed Gator Bowl Stadium, the event was played on the same field until 1993, when its current home at EverBank Stadium was built on the site and returned in 1995. Although the Gator Bowl began as a showcase for at least one member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the game’s opponents have more recently featured opponents from either the SEC, Big Ten and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Across 80 editions of the Gator Bowl, memorable moments include the Pittsburgh Panthers’ 37-9 upset over the South Carolina Gamecocks in 1980 and Florida State coach Bobby Bowden’s last game in 2010. Great fans (TN vs IN) for both teams. Friendly help from the Gator Bowl staff when needed. We thought that the field was very dimly lit. It was like watching teams at dusk rather than in bright sunlight. Consequently, we watched the large screen as much as the field. Gator Bowl: turn up the lights!
easy in to parking- use the fairgrounds, easy out. Friendly folks at the stadium and nice patriotic atmosphere. Food super expensive but i guess it always is in stadiums.
Atmosphere was great, staff working at the stadium were friendly and helpful. They tailgate party was a great thing for kids to keep them busy until the gates opened. Police presence was nice to see and made us feel safe. Their help getting out of the parking lots were much needed and appreciated.
The pregame and half time activities were high schoolish in nature. Also at halftime the time given to each college band was so very abbreviated because of the actual high school band that performed .. not allowing enough time to give the college band a performance with any meat. Style of high school and NC State bands were similar and boring. Game itself was good. Interesting that the Panthers stadium the game was held in needs updating. Event staff was very nice but not really universally educated about venue and one had to ask 3-4 different people in order to get real information about locations, elevator/escalators, etc.
Lower ticket prices and more people will come, it’d be a better game if stadium were full
TIAA Stadium has easy parking, nearby hotels, a little pricey on alcohol, but comfortable seating, and the 2 endzone giant TV's make for an awesome Football game experience!!!
Great Venue. Very expensive prices on refreshments. Game was excellent and all announcements were clearly understood. Many gametime contests that were fun to participate in.
The TaxSlayer Bowl was fantastic. It was our first time to Jacksonville and EverBank Field and will definitely be back.
Great venue to watch a football game. All of the seats with your backs, and video boards are awesome. The upscale lounge area is recommended as it has several great drink and food options. Traffic was not too bad getting into or leaving the stadium.
The game and view was great. The weather did not cooperate for Florida, it was cold. The ticket acquisition was easy and the printed ticket was accepted with no issue. The inside services were varied and ample.

This was my first college football game ever.. Even though I have live in Jacksonville all of my 42 years, I have never had the opportunity to go to a Georgia vs. Florida football game.. So this would have to be the next best thing.. This was also the first time I have been in the stadium since they have added the new screens.. I see them from the road all the time during the Gaguar games.. But they are even more impressive while seating in a seat.. The only thing that topped all of this off was the fact that Georgia won..
Ticketmaster delivered on wonderful 50 yd line seats, for what turned out to be a very exciting game. The crowd-even though we were on the "wrong side" of the field were friendly and enjoyed themselves. And the food varieties, drinks in the club seats were well worth it!
I was surprised there were so many Georgia fans on our side of the field. Thankfullly, they were mostly well behaved. It was a pretty exciting game for the most part. The seats were great. I wasn't particularly impressed with Everbank Field, as there seemed to be a lot of congestion, even in the club area. Hard to move around or use the rest room.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the TaxSlayer Bowl, despite my team losing. I really felt welcomed, and the area went out of their way to cater to the fans. The stadium was also lovely, with great food and drink and not a bad seat. I would absolutely go back if my team were to be invited.
Was able to easily select 8 tickets based on location. View was great!
