A favorite childhood pastime shared with my grown children. Very affordable and entertaining.
I enjoyed the game immensely atmosphere was great, the seats are more comfortable then the Tampa Bay Rays stadium and the daily specials are excellent everything was just a good time
The game was good, the stuff in between innings were good. The stadium is top notch. The score board and seats all great. The concessions were so packed we didn't eat a thing. We actually went out to wait in line but the lines were massive so we ended up leaving early. All in all it was a good experience just wasn't great. If you want a great experience go see the Altoona Curve there you can enjoy a hot dog too!
Really enjoyed our trip to Steinbrenner Stadium. Could have used a little more breeze but the people who work there are great and the game was fun.
Very disappointed that facility was closed for batting practice. When gates finally opened there was no activity until game started.
George Steinbrenner Field is quite nice. Clean. Good food. Excellent seats. The crowd was ready to relax and have fun.
He may not be a great player, but he is a great person. What a crowd, game and atmosphere it was!
I primarily went to see Tim Tebow, but ended up enjoying the whole atmosphere. The stadium was awesome. I was in front row down 3rd base line. Very reasonable, actually cheap ticket prices, I paid $& a set.
I've been to GMS countless times if it was for Spring Training or the Tampa Yankees Florida State League season and as usual it was amazing. Expect for 1 thing that only the visiting team could have fixed was to put Tim Tebow in the game in the 1st inning rather than in the bottom of the 8th.
Fast action, really good baseball. Loved it. Stadium is great.
Excellent day at the park. We thoroughly enjoyed watching quality baseball
First time here, had a rain delay, disappointed in the size of the crowd, but considering the soccer game next door and the weather it was understandable. Good fun for little money. Some concessions we're a little high, but overall great experience.
This was awesome!!!! Highly recommended on your next trip to the beach.
Besides the game and the talent on the field that earned the 1 star, everything else about the event was as mediocre as can be. There weren't enough concessions open, so getting food took FOREVER before and during the game. The food was low quality, including my Stella Artois that didn't even taste fresh. I didn't take advantage of my $5 refill that was offered with the poor quality souvenir cup. During the game, security was nowhere to be found. All seating became a free for all. The security allowed parents to let their kids sneak to the front rows, standing during the game and in between innings to get baseball. I am not talking a few kids, but it was more and more as the game went on because everyone saw what security was allowing. The WORST was when I saw a grown woman walk up to the opposing dugout and started shouting for baseballs during the game. It took security a couple minutes until they finally realized this isn't okay. This was supposed to be a professional baseball game. People that aren't playing or coaching aren't even allowed to be near the dugouts in little league games......... I am just happy the tickets were cheap and I left before the game was over. The fireworks post game weren't even keeping me in what was a sad excuse for a fan experience. Free tickets wouldn't even win me back. Just spend the money and go to a Tampa Bay Rays game.
A few things that make Tampa Yankees games special: 1) When you yell, the players can actually hear you. In fact, they might hear you in your normal speaking voice. 2) There's a very good chance you'll go home with a baseball. Alternatively, you can make a little kid very happy by handing it over to him. 3) You can actually buy a jumbo hot dog, large fries, and a large drink for about the cost of one hot dog at a major league park. 4) Parking is free. And your spot might only be about 50 feet from the gate. And it might take you about 10 seconds to get out of the parking lot at the end. 5) The seat I had wouldn't even be available to anyone buying tickets for the major league Yankees -- the first few rows behind the dugout aren't even for sale at Yankee Stadium to the public -- but the closest seat equivalent would cost over $200. My seat cost $8. All that aside, Steinbrenner Field is a beautiful state-of-the-art facility in a very convenient location. But, most of all, these are players who truly love to play the game. And you just might see them playing for the New York Yankees one day.
Great price! Great seats! Great time! Definitely doing this again
Great time as always. Construction is ongoing. Always a good time at Minor League games.
The game was great, ended up being a doublehitter. The fans were asleep both games. There was hardly any energy from the fun stuff or even Blue. Very disappointing. :-(
Kinda of boring game. Not impressed with the event at all. I have seen better baseball games, and better ball players. The two teams looked like they were there to fill the time slot up, and nothing more. "Oh well, we got a game tonight, might as well go and play" attitude. My husband and I took our grandson who had just came home from Cooperstown NY All Stars Village, and was wearing a t-shirt that said "I hit a Grandslam at Cooperstown NY" (which was true, got the pictures to prove it..lol) and was very excited to go watch these teams, it could have been any teams and he would have loved it. Set right by the dugout, players come and go, in and out the entire game, and they never once acknowledged anyone, never looked at anyone, never said anything to anyone, and never looked like they were enjoying the game. Not impressed with their talents either, but they certainly are!!!!!! The game of baseball is suppose to be fun for everyone, these guys needs to learn that, learn that without fans they would not have a job, and should play like they love the game... I only seen 1 player that has talent to go on to pro...the pitcher for the blue jays, he was awesome.
First of all, I love this stadium! All the seats are in the shade, it's comfortable, parking is easy, and it's got that down home atmosphere. I took my dog to the "Bark in the Ballpark" event and had a great time! Lots of friendly pups and the staff was awesome. Would definitely do this again, and thank you to the Yankees organization for having this.
