Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team History
The Buccaneers joined the NFL as an expansion team and played their first game in 1976. During the 1979 season, the Buccaneers became the first post-merger expansion team to win a division championship, a playoff game and host and play in a conference championship. They went on to win seven more division championships and captured their first Super Bowl win in 2003.
The Bucs beat the Oakland Raiders 48-21 in Super Bowl XXXVIII in Head Coach Jon Gruden's first season, making him the youngest head coach to win a Super Bowl at the time. With future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady under center, the Buccaneers went on to win their second Super Bowl title at Super Bowl LV in 2021.

Insiders refer to the 65,618-seat Raymond James Stadium as the NFL's “crown jewel,” thanks to massive 2016 renovations that added one of the most modern HD video systems in the league. Additionally, every time the Buccaneers score a touchdown or field goal, a pirate ship moored in Buccaneer Cove celebrates with cannon fire.
Raymond James Stadium hosted Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021, during which the Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. The game marked the first time in Super Bowl history that a team played a championship game on their home turf.

First, it was kind of difficult to locate the seating as per my tickets because they were club seats and we did not know that. That made game day even more special having Club tickets. The seating was so comfortable I felt like I was home and the overall crowds were so into the game, a lot of camaraderie and you can tell the fans were having a great time. We did too!
Everything was awesome. I loved the stadium, excellente seating as promised, even blessed with great football weather (cloudy 50-60). I’m already planning for next one.
We had an AWESOME time in Tampa! From the time we walked up to the coliseum, with the Brass Band playing and all the activities going on, taking pictures with cheerleaders etc. once inside the fun continued with souvenirs being thrown into the crowd! Very confusing on how to get on the side where our seats were. Missed kickoff looking for seats. Also they stopped selling beer before 3rd quarter ended.
Fantastic day out but they have to get better if they want to get to the Super Bowl maybe next year cmon the buccs you can do it
I think it’s very unfair to miss one quarter of the football game standing in line for food. I didn’t come there to watch the game on tv.....I paid to watch in person. I really don’t understand why we can’t bring in snacks. The greed in this country is out of control. Seven dollars for a bottle of water!!!!!!!
The seats were a great view from my location and the price was alright.
I got there pretty early so I didn’t experience hardly any traffic. Even though I was with the visitor team, I was welcomed and made new friends in the parking lot! Overall from the time I got there and left, it was awesome. I had no problems either way. Can’t wait to come back.

It way easy to buy the tickets. But when your not from the USA you cannot download the ticketmaster app! That was bad. We had to go to the box office to get some papertickets. Food and drinks are very expensive inside the stadium. You can park your car arround the stadium fot only 10 Dollar in private lots. That' s very good.
It was easy buying the tickets and accessing the tickets thanks to constant communication. The stadium is clean, the food choices were varied and the food was good.
I am having difficulty getting assistance to use elevator for games. The past two home games I have been in section 315. I am disabled and use forearm crutches to walk. I almost fell trying to use escalator.
It is quite different watching a game at the stadium instead of on the TV!! Sometimes things would happen so f-a-s-t that I would have to watch the jumbotron to catch the action!! There were 2 guys right in front of us who had a bit too much to drink and were VERY verbal!! It is more exciting being at the stadium than home but at least at home you can control the volume!! :-) Restrooms were clean, staff very pleasant, food VERY expensive, picnic tables by section 135 were very welcome! My husband loved every minute of it! So glad he could experience it!!
My family and I had such an amazing time! It was all of ours first football game and it couldn’t have been better (except if the cardinals won). Ticket master made it easy to access our tickets and didn’t cause any confusion. We will be using ticket master again to purchase our next arizona cardinal tickets!
The electronic tickets worked like a charm. The stadium experience was fun. Loved the party experience outside the stadium and inside stadium staff were extremely polite and helpful. A Tampa Bay police officer who was directing traffic was a jerk but the five other officer I met were polite, professional and helpful. Everyone needs to experience a Buccaneers game!
The tickets were on the cell phone. I thought I paid for parking but couldn’t find any evidence of this on my phone. My cellphone almost died and it was a miracle that I was able to open the messages and show the tickets. I tried to get through to Ticketmaster about this problem but that was impossible. Ticketmaster does everything on its power to make you unable to speak directly to an agent. Anyway, the phone worked enough and I bought parking on the spot.
Always enjoy going to Raymond James Stadium. Weather was great, parking was easy getting in and out and stadium is nice. Teams on the field left a little to be desired but a fun day overall.
It would be nice if they would have a closed in stadium. It was too hot and by any chance, what if it were raining? Invest in a stadium comfortable for the fans!
I had a wonderful time watching Tampa play the NY Giants. Nice stadium and environment. One thing I would say that can be improved upon is the tickets and concession prices are getting pretty high.
