About

Taking Back Sunday is one of the most notable bands to emerge from emo’s third wave. The group, which formed in 1999 on Long Island, New York, has featured the lineup of vocalist Adam Lazzara, guitarist John Nolan, bassist Shaun Cooper and drummer Mark O'Connell for nearly two decades. TBS have released eight studio albums, including their 2002 platinum-certified debut Tell All Your Friends and four career Top 10 releases on the Billboard 200. After 2004’s “A Decade Under the Influence” became their first single to hit the Alternative Airplay chart, the quartet released their breakthrough 2006 effort Louder Now, led by the Hot 100-charting single “MakeDamnSure.” The band spent 2022 collaborating with the likes of Steve Aoki and The Maine before releasing their 2023 full-length, 152.

  • Terrible setlist

by Nomammer on 9/4/25Rating: 2 out of 5

TBS puts on a good show, for sure, however the setlist was really lacking. They played two songs that the entire venue sang to but then kept going to newer stuff that no where near as many people knew.

  • Absolutely amazing!!

by Brit on 10/20/24Save Mart Center - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands were awesome. Taking Back Sunday did a great show. The Used was awesome. this was my 3rd time seeing both of them and they did not disappoint.

  • Guess it's enjoyable only to people in the front

by Wasn't worth it on 10/19/24Save Mart Center - FresnoRating: 1 out of 5

The show looked like like it would have been great. Unfortunately I decided to get the seats on the side. Do you know what I heard, NOTHING BUT FREAKING MUMBLING worst show ever. And yes I contacted the savemart center and 104.1, they both stated it was the bands that set up the speakers

  • Nostalgic

by Cassie on 10/19/24Save Mart Center - FresnoRating: 3 out of 5

I love TBS, they are so nostalgic to me! But, the acoustics in the Save Mart Center were absolutely horrible. As well as the costs of drinks, outrageous. Live music, but will chose a smaller venue on my next show.

  • night out at the mullet

by nymark on 10/18/24Mullett Arena - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing a concert at the Mullet Arena. Wasn't disappointed! Easy parking and entry. Good sight lines. Sound system tight! All 3 bands; Raue, Taking Back Sunday and The Used, put on a great show. Looking forward to attending a Sun Devil hockey game.

  • Expected more

    by Wordz4you on 10/17/24Mullett Arena - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

Sound was horrible, chairs were so small, too close together....so uncomfortable. Warm water for 5or 6 dollars. Glad I got to see the bands I do wish a different venue was chosen. Paid all that money for a show that sounded like it was played through a megaphone
