    Little Leaguers Ruin the Experience

    by D. C. on 5/13/23

I would avoid visiting when little leaguers go. I just left the stadium be used parents or guardians let their kids run around, yell all kinds of things, throw things across rows, kick the seats, you name it. They will do it. Little leaguers surround you. I would avoid going on these nights. Now if you can afford it and get in time get the lower sections. But little leaguers do ruin the experience if you get normal seats.

    Not the same :(

by GoalMom on 4/25/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

I’ve been going to Rainier games since I was a kid, and now I take my kids. We all love the intimate experience. However, this year the prices are crazy. The food prices, the merch….this used to be where a single mom like myself could take her kids when places like Mariners were just too expensive.

Mobility impaired access poor, game great

by Biller on 4/24/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Friends selected seats in N section. Exit from hwy 16 took 30 minutes to merge, by that time parking lot was full!!! Park on the grass they said. Found spot on street long way off. My wife was limited mobility which was not as bad for drop off, but couldn't get close to 1st base side to pick up. It was a painful walk for her to traverse to main lot. Need bikers to help give rides like they do at Mariners games.

Rainer’s stadium is a quite nice minor league park.

by Anon on 4/11/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Great seats, good food choices, winning team. Cheney Stadium is a good minor league park. (Parking may be difficult for a sold out game but not impossible).

    good game

    by jcon85 on 4/9/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

The game was a double header. It was a fun game. I havent been to a ball game in about 7 years and it was worth it. I really enjoyed the fireworks at the end of the game also. Food was a little pricy but that is to be expected at a ball game.

    Great guest service

    by Tiff8117 on 4/9/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

This was my first time and things were extremely easy to navigate. Someone was at the bleachers and immediately offered to help us find our seats and welcome us. We then were able to get a free autograph from one of the players and rhubarb! My kids were overjoyed at the whole experience and I would 10/10 recommend and take them again. Thank you for being so accommodating, friendly and welcoming.

First time to see the Rainiers this year. We had a wonderful time. Saw home runs, ate hotdogs and enjoyed the great stadium and crowd.

    Fairly smooth

    by Viking58 on 9/28/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Site was a little clunky to navigate. Ultimately it all worked.

First AAA experience for 8 year old grandson

by The Grammaconda on 9/27/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Took a little boy who is obsessed with baseball, and he loved the stadium, the fish and chips, AND the fact that he was tossed a game ball. He was over the moon, and since the Tacoma Rainiers are his new favorite team, he had to have a cap which he wears constantly. It was a friendly, sweet experience for us and since we are local, will be back often.

    Play ball

by AS on 9/7/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Had a great time. Glad I sat in last row! Food and drink are expensive. I like the 5:00 start time on a Saturday!

    Tacoma Rainiers

by Olythill on 9/7/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

I wanted to take my family to a Sunday afternoon Rainiers game, signed on ticketmaster and was able to quickly find available dates and seats. The process to purchase and acquire our tickets was seamless. At the park the staff were welcoming, and willing to answer questions we had.

Very chill environment and everyone in good spirits.

by Riz on 9/5/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

It’s a great ball park. Every seat is a great seat. Great food selection and tons of options for drinks. A couple things to know about going to the stadium is that they went “cashless”. I didn’t have a card with me and I couldn’t pay for parking the plus is that they let me pick ark for free because of that no problem at all. Very nice of them. I had to give my friend cash and he used his card when we got food. I never actually tried to pay for anything with cash (besides parking) but my friend was the one who told me about the cashless pay. So who knows, maybe they would accommodate but I wanted to say I didn’t actually try.

    T-Town Baseball

by Rocky on 9/5/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Tacoma Rainers is always a great time. The Ballpark is nice and intimate not like the parks for the bigs. The food and beer is cheaper. Fun to watch players work hard to move up the ladder, instead of the boys that are making millions and just putting in the time.

    Great Night

    by B&Z on 9/4/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

We were easily able to get great seats on 1st base line. What I especially appreciated was how staff kept the few, later in the game, unruly fans under control. It made us very comfortable and secure. I saw little kids just having fun, moms with kids being taken care of by observant staff. I ordered tickets for another game.

Take me out to the ballgame!

by Rusty on 9/2/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Well played game, love the venue so much more personal than majors. Tickets were at will call and they were easy to retrieve and the seats were great.

    Dirty

by Average Mom on 9/2/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

I love baseball. We love going. The stadium was so dirty. Bathrooms were nasty, out of soap, toilet paper, paper towels. The concession stands were so expensive. We are loyal fans but it was sad off the field. Ada acess is rough. Watching the game was great. The stadium set up is wonderful to view the game.
