Syracuse City Ballet Tickets

This was the worst show I have seen in over 15 years! It was very different and not good at all. Where was Mike Price telling the usual story of events? The costumes were awful. The whole thing was very disappointing. Also, spent a ton of money to sit in the PIT and low and behold, we had to be moved back and had worse seats. Probably won't attend again. New executive director, it's all about him, not good at all!

The dancers did a wonderful job. My family really enjoyed it! Thank you! :)

We had a great time at the recent showing of the Nutcracker at the Oncenter. It is an annual tradition of ours. We were not disappointed as the ballet was wonderful.

Had great front row seats, and enjoyed the first half of the show. During intermission, they cleared the pit area and made everyone move back. The 2 replacement tickets they gave us were 20 rows back, and weren’t even together. Second half of show was lousy due to terrible seats.

The dancers did an amazing job telling the story of the nutcracker. I haven’t been in a couple of years and so I am not sure when the syracuse ballet made changes to the show but my daughter and I loved the other version. That version was more kid friendly with the narrator and props of the sleigh and all the kids and the gingerbread dancers along with the dancers coming out of the Jeanie bottle.

It was absolutely wonderful!! I have wanted to see The Nutcracker for decades. The theater staff was friendly and helpful. The ballet was beautiful. This will be a new Christmas tradition for my family and I.

This was the 1st time my 8 year old daughter & I seen your performance & it was the best! We sat front row & my daughter was in aww the entire time !! Best show to kick off the holiday season!

I was disappointed with the format. I was expecting a little bit of narration like the last time we went. I felt that it was not as “young child” friendly as previous years. We left at intermission.

My boyfriend and I were super excited about this event and had really high hopes as far as safety measures were concerned. I had been recieving emails up until the day of telling me about important instructions that everyone needed to follow and specific protocols that would be enforced at the venue. Both myself and my boyfriend were relieved that the theater was taking COVID 19 seriously and were doing the right things on behalf of everyone's health..... Sadly, this was clearly just a ploy to sell tickets and make some money. Upon entering the venue it was clear that the emails I recieved were just a look good and strictly sent to appease the masses. Yes, we did have to present our vaccine cards, but that was the ONLY safety measure they held true to. There was no "health check" as described in the numerous emails I had recieved. The place was completely packed, every seat full. Not even the slightest attempt was made to space some of the seating out. Once seated, every attendee in our surrounding area removed their masks. No one cared. No one asked them to put them back on. There was no enforcement of these promised "safety measures". Needless to say, after 50 minutes of our neighbouring seats occupants coughing and sneezing and blowing their noses, without masks on, we decided we weren't interested in participating any further in The Nutcracker's COVID 19 party. We left. Because of this experience, regardless of the pandemic, or the resolution of, I will NEVER again attend an event there.

The show was good, I liked the reimagined version of the ballet. Unfortunately the other patrons and the lax enforcement of rules ruined it for us. Mask compliance was almost nonexistent. The people behind us spilled beer all over my 8 year old’s jacket and then ran out, leaving my daughter in tears.

This was so wonderfully done. The dancers were amazing and the choreography was amazing. I had a wonderful time!

A little pricey. Prices should be discounted for those with children under 18 participating.

It was a wonderful production! The festive music, and the graceful beautiful dancing of the ballerinas, put me right in the Christmas spirit. We are so lucky to have such talent right in Syracuse!

Awesome experience. Tone was great. Dark and passionate. Performers did an amazing job. Very talented.

I have always loved the story of Dracula but was unsure of how it would translate into a ballet. It exceeded all my expectations. The music was haunting, the sets and costumes were both luscious and scary at the same time and the dancers elicited so many emotions from horror and fear to sadness, longing, anger and at times just plain spooky. There were sections that gave me chills and others that tore my heart out. I truly hope we don't have to wait another 10 years to see this exquisite production again. Well done SBT!

Syracuse city ballet’s performance of “Dracula” was a treat full of drama, suspense and exquisite dancing. Bravo!

What a spectacular production! Set and costumes were amazing, acting was great, dancing superb.

So much fun! The dancers did a phenomenal job. The entire show was put together so well, and a great length considering the amount of kids in the audience. I ansolutely plan to come back next season!

This performance was amazing!!! The aerial artists really brought something special to the show. All of the dancers did a beautiful job. My daughter and I very much enjoyed this performance.
