Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia--Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso--quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision.
The trio were the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden (2011) and the first to close Coachella's main stage (2012). Their singles "Save the World" and "Don't You Worry Child" earned GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum certifications. Rolling Stone described their rise as "redefining rave culture," and NMEcalled them "the rockstars of the dance music world."
Their record-breaking One Last Tour concluded with a five-year hiatus, followed by their surprise return as headliners of Ultra Music Festival's 20th anniversary in 2018. The following year, they launched the Save The World Reunion Tour and shifted their focus toward a new priority: their first full-length studio album.
Released in 2022, Paradise Again was the result of nearly two years in the studio. The group rebuilt their sound from the ground up, drawing on analog synthesis, experimentation, and collaboration. "We needed to find sounds in the studio we had never heard before," said Steve Angello. "This is one of the most exciting times for us. We're having fun like 15-yearolds again."
The album featured contributions from The Weeknd, Sting, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Seinabo Sey, and Fred again.. It debuted at #1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart. Songs like "Redlight," "Frankenstein," and "Don't Go Mad" pushed the group into new territory both sonically and structurally.
Critics praised the scope of the work. Pitchfork described the album as "richer in texture and grander in scope than previous releases." NME awarded it four stars, calling it "a reclaiming of their title" and writing simply: "it slaps." The group headlined Coachella alongside The Weeknd in 2022, a performance The Guardian called "off the wall."
The album's lead single, "Moth To A Flame," became a global hit, reaching gold or platinum status in nine countries and joining Spotify's Billion Club. The group also co-wrote and coproduced "Sacrifice" and "How Do I Make You Love Me?" on The Weeknd's Dawn FM, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200.
The Paradise Again World Tour followed, covering 29 cities in 11 countries across two continents. During this period, the group also released the single "Turn On The Lights again.." with Fred again.. and Future.
In 2023 and 2024, Swedish House Mafia returned to the stage with key performances at Tomorrowland, Brooklyn Mirage, and their first-ever Ibiza residency at Ushuaïa. They also released a series of new singles: Ray of Solar, Lioness featuring Niki & The Dove, and Finally featuring Alicia Keys.
In 2025, they launched Superhuman--their new creative home and label. It began with Flood, Sebastian Ingrosso's first solo release in eight years, followed by No Enemies, a collaboration between Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Namasenda. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.
Swedish House Mafia continue to operate with full focus--on records, on stage, and through their label. With new music, new projects, and global shows ahead this is 3.0

The experience for Rufus in 2021 was so much better than this chaos. Also why did our legend Zhu play for 30 min only !?
The shoe was super fun and the production was amazing!!
I went in with no expectations. I saw it would be just another “EDM/DJ” event with good music. Little I knew the experience I was about to embark on. It was an incredible display of music, sound, lights, laser, fireworks, and flames! The added dimension of the settled fire was over the top. This event ranks pretty high on my list now. The Swedish House Mafia guys were super charismatic and incredible all around. Thanks for the awesome experience!
I hope Swedish House Mafia will keep going! They are simply the best house group.
First time I saw SHM was 2010. I have a long rich history in edm, and with them. After being extremely sour the last 7 years after missing their farewell tour, I couldn't believe it when they got back together and announced Paradise Again. The show was stunning! They played a ton of the classics, re-edits, and the new gems. Absolutely amazing song choices through and through. The production and stage presence bar none are of an absolute supergroup and Swedish House Mafia are nothing less than that. Zhu as the opener absolutely killed as well, and quite memorable for just my show was the debut of their brand new cover of Finally by Kings of tomorrow with Alicia Keys. 10/10 show, even for non edm people - there's too much greatness here.
From the stage, to the crowd, to the sound. This was an all around complete performance! I am such a Zhu fan and to see them both on stage back to back was AMAZING! I wish it lasted another 2 hours!
One of the most enjoyable shows I’ve been in a very long time. The music was amazing and nostalgic! The visuals, out of this world. The atmosphere full of excitement and joy! If you’re a fan of SHM and/or EDM this is a must! Rave On! 🙌🏼🔥🙌🏼
What a great show Zhu was better then ever. Blown away
Wow! What an amazing show, it was so much fun and the energy in the massive venue was indescribable. From start to finish Sweedish House Mafia had every fan (even non fans) capitvated by the impressive light show, pyrotechnics, and of course the music! I did not know what to ecpect but my expectations were met and then some. This was one of the most memorable shows i've seen. The opening talent was incredible. Way to go boys!
People kept coming down from the back into a space near the front of our seats blocking everyone that seats near the aisle. Even when security kicked them out, another or the same group would come back 2 mins later.
Even though I was in the seats, i still enjoyed the show! The seats are very steep so if you put others are standing in front of you, you/ they aren't really in the way. They did amazing live.
The music and environment was beyond expectations. They put on an amazing performance.
Was able to score some unbelievable seats for this show. Been waiting since 2009 to see this group live. I was not disappointed in the slightest. Every song was a throng of energy that rejuvenated a sense of nostalgia I have not felt in quite sometime. You’d be crazy not to see this amazing group live.
Great vibe and I have no idea how people can just stand in front of a seat all night. It was pretty much sold out.
Swedish House Mafia put on a show that I will remember forever. They did an amazing job with engaging with the crowd and played their hits that they’ve put out either together or while apart. It was so much fun and I cannot wait to see them again. So many surprises and a beautiful crowd!
Stadium is so bright, they turn on the light once in a while. Default waiting music was turned on for 30 mins. SHMbdid not play a whole set but they played by track instead. Ended at 11:25? Why not 11:30 at least? So bad!!!
This venue is not a “party hosting spot” please do not have electronic music at this venue. I don’t feel like a party when you are restricted to your seat and can not walk the floor. This reunion of Swedish House Mafia was awesome but could not get down with dancing in a seat.
Shm did not disappoint. They were amazing and production went without any hitches except for the false fire alarm.
Logistics in and out of the venue were perfect. Seating was great and security was a breeze! Most def coming back!
