About

Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia--Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso--quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision.

The trio were the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden (2011) and the first to close Coachella's main stage (2012). Their singles "Save the World" and "Don't You Worry Child" earned GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum certifications. Rolling Stone described their rise as "redefining rave culture," and NMEcalled them "the rockstars of the dance music world."

Their record-breaking One Last Tour concluded with a five-year hiatus, followed by their surprise return as headliners of Ultra Music Festival's 20th anniversary in 2018. The following year, they launched the Save The World Reunion Tour and shifted their focus toward a new priority: their first full-length studio album.

Released in 2022, Paradise Again was the result of nearly two years in the studio. The group rebuilt their sound from the ground up, drawing on analog synthesis, experimentation, and collaboration. "We needed to find sounds in the studio we had never heard before," said Steve Angello. "This is one of the most exciting times for us. We're having fun like 15-yearolds again."

The album featured contributions from The Weeknd, Sting, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Seinabo Sey, and Fred again.. It debuted at #1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart. Songs like "Redlight," "Frankenstein," and "Don't Go Mad" pushed the group into new territory both sonically and structurally.

Critics praised the scope of the work. Pitchfork described the album as "richer in texture and grander in scope than previous releases." NME awarded it four stars, calling it "a reclaiming of their title" and writing simply: "it slaps." The group headlined Coachella alongside The Weeknd in 2022, a performance The Guardian called "off the wall."

The album's lead single, "Moth To A Flame," became a global hit, reaching gold or platinum status in nine countries and joining Spotify's Billion Club. The group also co-wrote and coproduced "Sacrifice" and "How Do I Make You Love Me?" on The Weeknd's Dawn FM, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200.

The Paradise Again World Tour followed, covering 29 cities in 11 countries across two continents. During this period, the group also released the single "Turn On The Lights again.." with Fred again.. and Future.

In 2023 and 2024, Swedish House Mafia returned to the stage with key performances at Tomorrowland, Brooklyn Mirage, and their first-ever Ibiza residency at Ushuaïa. They also released a series of new singles: Ray of Solar, Lioness featuring Niki & The Dove, and Finally featuring Alicia Keys.

In 2025, they launched Superhuman--their new creative home and label. It began with Flood, Sebastian Ingrosso's first solo release in eight years, followed by No Enemies, a collaboration between Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Namasenda. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.

Swedish House Mafia continue to operate with full focus--on records, on stage, and through their label. With new music, new projects, and global shows ahead this is 3.0

  • Could've been longer!

by Nat on 10/30/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

I absolutely LOVE Swedish House Mafia and their set itself was great. However in the days getting closer to the event, there was no announcement that 19 other DJ's would also be playing at the event. It was only until the day before or so that we started seeing all these names in the lineup but there was also no time they would go in. I understand this is a charity event which may differ from a regular conert or set at a club, however it would've helped grasp a better idea for what the event was going to be like if the lineup was published at least an hour before. The seating for VIP was also mislabeled as it faced their BACK and you normally pay more to face the main DJ.

  • AMAZING!!

    by Clubgirl83 on 10/30/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue!! Amazing show by all the Dj’s!! Will was a great host!

  • Fun!🤩

by PamelaGM on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

SHM was my first electronic music concert, so I was excited to go, because I knew they throw a great show so they did it again. Love it so much!

  • Great Event, Awesome Benefit

by House Heads from FL on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, this was an amazing event. We flew from FL to attend, as we are true Will Ferrell fans and house heads. We expected some local House Music artists or more house music involved, but appreciated the variety of artists. We would have loved to hear more original house on the main stage (since it was a house party) and even some B2B with the artists. We would attend again, and hopefully this event can travel to FL in the future! Thankful the funds are donated to a great cause as well!

  • Bucket List Concert

by pumadeluca on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolute awesome experience. I have wanted to see them live for 12 years and finally found a venue I could get to. Will Ferrel was an amazing host as well

  • No security at seats

by Mads on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Swedish House Mafia was amazing, but the venue absolutely failed to provide a safe and secure environment once you got to your seats. Our aisle was filled with people just standing at the front, essentially blocking people that actually paid for the seats. I went out to find SOMEONE and all I saw were consession lines with 30+ people in line for water. This event was not properly staffed at all and I do not know if that's on the Wintrust Arena venue or the organizers of Will Ferrell's event.

  • 2/3 ain’t bad?

by Anon on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Show billed as Swedish House Mafia but only Axwell and Angello showed up (no Ingrosso.) Kind of a let down, but it was for charity, so, what can you do?

  • Ticketmaster screwed up pricing...Again!

by Ticketmaster #1 fan on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Ticketmaster priced the entire event way above demand, so I bought very cheap seats at the last minute and sat in open seating (I could see through Ticketmasters available seating map) that was hundreds of dollars more expensive. Thank you, Ticketmaster!

  • Too many artists

by CT on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Each artist performed for 15-30 minutes. Even SHM as a headlining act performed for 30, maybe 40 minutes.

  • Swedish Mafia

by ewlora on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Best experience ever, the music was awsome! we had a blast!!!!

  • Party in Arena

    by Lolita5050 on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a fun entertaining fundraiser. We had a blast from the moment it started. All of the little extras made it even more fun! The chicago mascots... chefs kiss!

  • Too short

by Josh on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Swedish House Mafia was sweet but the set was only 40 minutes long, concert ended at 11:15pm. I also waited 45 minutes in line for a beer. Not worth the $300 I paid for my GA ticket, but at least proceeds are going to charity. Was cool to see Will Ferrell too.

  • Loved it!

by AN on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We had so much fun! The energy, light show, music, and of course Will Ferrell, were all great. The fact that it was a charity event for cancer just added to the awesomeness of the event. Loved it!

  • Swedish House Mafia

by Martin on 10/29/24Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

My first time seeing Swedish House Mafia live. Had a blast watching them live. My seat I got through Ticketmaster was a good seat. Chicago's Wintrust Arena doesn't have any bad seat. I would recommend this arena in Chicago's South Loop to anyone.

  • Great show, just short

by zaky on 9/28/22Banc of California Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

My group of 10 loved the show, the visuals and audio were great. We were happy they continued the show even in the rain. However, we all would have preferred that the show was a bit longer, and that the timing didn't get changed the day of. Some of us didn't plan on getting out of work early enough so we completely missed the first set, which was also very short. It was tough to find the exact set times and opening times on the website until the absolute last minute.

  • Dope

by Swedish House Mathews on 9/23/22Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was dope. Fireballs, lights, acoustics — everything. Beer was way way too pricey though. 17.50 for a cup of beer is crazy. 6.50 for fries was very reasonable, however.

  • Great Venue and Set

by Austin on 9/23/22Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Love the venue at the Chase Center: It was clean and well kept before, during, and after the performance. Cleaners swept and mopped as necessary. Also, the general admission did not feel crowded which provided enough room to dance and go to the bathroom, or get a drink at the bar. Getting to the concession area was easy as well. The concession area provided great food options and drink options as well. SHM played new and old classics - a perfect set. The visuals and acoustics were also amazing.

  • Great show but something was missing

    by L on 9/22/22Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

Awesome effects, great sound system, amazing start to the show, but because it was such a large venue and people could not move between seats and the floor the overall concert experience was disappointing. I had seen SHM 8 years back at the Bill Graham and it was one of my favorite concerts ever. Maybe this show just didn't live up to the expectations. For events like these how the audience/community interacts is everything and I think having it at the massive Chase Center was a detractor.

  • Massive art and music show

by Music Mode on 9/22/22United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I am very visual and art person - and I really had some expectation for this show! However, even we wait little bit longer than we expect for begging. minute they started: I was really amazed by stage design - massive minimalist sculpture (ring stage) plus light design and music performance/sound was really growing to epic proportions to almost hysterically perfection in every minute.

  • Assigned seating leads to cramped experience.

by Jason on 9/21/22Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

Lovely venue but the assigned seating led to no space to dance and socialize with friends. Wonder pricing tiers for each level with general admission for each level might be an option.
