About

Swedish House Mafia is a house music supergroup comprised of DJ/producers Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. Each of the group members is an accomplished DJ/producer and label owner in his own right. The Swedish group initially teamed up in the mid-2000s, when they toured together as DJs and collaborated from time to time on one another's productions. Eric Prydz was also a member of the group for a while. Axwell, Angello, and Ingrosso's breakout performance as Swedish House Mafia came on August 12, 2008, when they played the Main Room at Cream Amnesia in Ibiza, Spain, as part of Radio 1's Essential Mix Ibiza. A couple years later the trio signed a major-label recording contract with EMI and made their commercial production debut with the summer 2010 anthem "One," also known as "One (Your Name)," the latter version featuring Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes on vocals. The song was a Top Ten hit in the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi

    They still got it!

by Jay on 9/20/22Chase Center - San Francisco

First time I saw SHM was 2010. I have a long rich history in edm, and with them. After being extremely sour the last 7 years after missing their farewell tour, I couldn't believe it when they got back together and announced Paradise Again. The show was stunning! They played a ton of the classics, re-edits, and the new gems. Absolutely amazing song choices through and through. The production and stage presence bar none are of an absolute supergroup and Swedish House Mafia are nothing less than that. Zhu as the opener absolutely killed as well, and quite memorable for just my show was the debut of their brand new cover of Finally by Kings of tomorrow with Alicia Keys. 10/10 show, even for non edm people - there's too much greatness here.

    by M. R. on 9/20/22Rogers Arena - Vancouver

From the stage, to the crowd, to the sound. This was an all around complete performance! I am such a Zhu fan and to see them both on stage back to back was AMAZING! I wish it lasted another 2 hours!

by Lauren Lopez- Denny on 9/20/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Wow! What an amazing show, it was so much fun and the energy in the massive venue was indescribable. From start to finish Sweedish House Mafia had every fan (even non fans) capitvated by the impressive light show, pyrotechnics, and of course the music! I did not know what to ecpect but my expectations were met and then some. This was one of the most memorable shows i've seen. The opening talent was incredible. Way to go boys!

Aisle security should be better for concerts

by Berns on 9/20/22Chase Center - San Francisco

People kept coming down from the back into a space near the front of our seats blocking everyone that seats near the aisle. Even when security kicked them out, another or the same group would come back 2 mins later.

    Good time

by Lacey Q on 9/20/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Even though I was in the seats, i still enjoyed the show! The seats are very steep so if you put others are standing in front of you, you/ they aren't really in the way. They did amazing live.

One of the best shows I’ve seen in awhile

by AbOtto on 9/20/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Was able to score some unbelievable seats for this show. Been waiting since 2009 to see this group live. I was not disappointed in the slightest. Every song was a throng of energy that rejuvenated a sense of nostalgia I have not felt in quite sometime. You’d be crazy not to see this amazing group live.

Great vibe and I have no idea how people can just stand in front of a seat all night. It was pretty much sold out.

    Absolute Legends

by JP on 9/20/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Swedish House Mafia put on a show that I will remember forever. They did an amazing job with engaging with the crowd and played their hits that they’ve put out either together or while apart. It was so much fun and I cannot wait to see them again. So many surprises and a beautiful crowd!

    the worst rave event ever

by Ella on 9/19/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Stadium is so bright, they turn on the light once in a while. Default waiting music was turned on for 30 mins. SHMbdid not play a whole set but they played by track instead. Ended at 11:25? Why not 11:30 at least? So bad!!!

Great to see expensive for what you get

by Just ME Yap on 9/19/22Chase Center - San Francisco

This venue is not a “party hosting spot” please do not have electronic music at this venue. I don’t feel like a party when you are restricted to your seat and can not walk the floor. This reunion of Swedish House Mafia was awesome but could not get down with dancing in a seat.

    Mediocre Production

by MGar on 9/19/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Production could’ve been better, there was a fire alarm going off for approximately 6 minutes & the lights were being turned off and on while the opening DJ was on set. Production wasn’t the best for the whole arena. Seems only the people in the lower levels got a good experience and visuals with the production. Considering how big the space was more effort should’ve been put in to this. Food was mediocre at best at 2 different concession stands we visited.

The sounds, the stage, the fire!

by Rafael on 9/19/22Chase Center - San Francisco

I'll be honest - I don't listen to SHM in my daily life. I first saw them in Coachella 2022 from the VIP and had a great time watching them open for the Weeknd. So I had my concerns for the Chase Center (seats) This was also my second concert at Chase (John Mayer first) so I knew the sounds and the way the nosebleeds work. 8pm rolled in and it was pretty empty. A sad sign of what the night might end up to be. But the opening dj kept us busy as chase became packed. Our group of about 14 people with connections to Guam made the best of a great concert and what they were able to do inside of chase was great. I presume cold sparkles (indoor fireworks) some Kevin Hart fire (hoping you saw that special lol) and just great music and not too overpowering volume level. I normally wear ear plugs at concerts but this one and for john mayer they weren't needed. Two totally different experiences but two great ones. A few cons They ran out of bottled waters - and had to uncap them when they had But I walked a minute to a water filling station and saved a few bucks. I parked at 1800 Owens and exit was a breeze.
